Your Quinceañera Budget

T

he first step in planning your Quinceañera should be establishing your budget. The amount of money you have to work with will determine almost every other aspect of your Sweet 15 party, from the venue and invitations to the favors and food. Determine the amount of money you actually have saved up and ready to go toward your Quinceañera. If there is not enough money for the Quinceañera you want, consider asking padrinos , madrinas and grandparents, to sponsor your Quince. These can be relatives, friends or others close to you who will help pay for some of the party expenses. You could ask your favorite aunt to purchase your Quinceañera dress and your godparents to purchase your food. A Quinceañera is a family affair; your family and friends will be honored that you asked them to be part of your special day. Once you have determined your budget, it’s time to start allocating the funds. Make a list of everything you’ll need to pay for and what the estimated cost will be. Remember, do not budget money you do not (or will not) have. Set a realistic budget and stick with it. You can plan a beautiful Quinceañera with $2,000 or $25,000. All it takes is a little creativity, a lot of help and a clear vision of what you want.
