This musical production is described as “a musical revue about longing, fulfillment, loss, triumph and, ultimately, wisdom.” With music and lyrics by John Bucchino, the song selection in the production was the winner of LA’s 2008 Ovation Award for Best Book/Lyrics/Music for an Original Musical. Bucchino’s songs have been performed or recorded by some of entertainment’s greats, including Art Garfunkel, Yo-Yo Ma, Judy Collins and Liza Minnelli, among others. A new school year brings a new football season. Check out the following varsity home games for the month of September.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Ocala Shrine Rodeo, one of Ocala’s most beloved events. Those wishing to attend can purchase tickets online at ocalashrinerodeo. com. The event will include tie down roping, saddle riding, bull riding, barrel racing, bareback bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling and more. The event is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association. The rodeo events begin at 7:30pm, and gates open at 5:30pm. Tickets are $25 for adults at the gate, and children 5 years old and younger are admitted for free.
