At the outset, let us reiterate that the online schooling option you all love will continue to stay and grow. At the beginning of the year, we had over 2500 students; as we end 2022, we are a community of 7500 students across 78 countries studying 7 different programmes.

HyTech Schooling is taking the modern education experience to the next level with additional SEL programming and sports activities offered to students year-round. Not only does HyTech Schooling aim to strengthen academic achievement, but also foster social emotional learning and greater student development. 21K School is certainly redefining traditional schooling experiences by providing cutting-edge social educational opportunities.

Every week, HyTech Schooling offers students the opportunity to step out of their homes, connect with other students, and explore their creative side

Basically, it is the idea of combining offline and online modes of learning in the most efficient way to enhance the student’s development quality and learning experience. The biggest advantage of hybrid learning in schools is that education will not be interrupted because of distance or any external factors.

The HyTech Schooling will be optional and available in a few cities from Academic Year 2023.

Announcing Our Sports Centre Partners

It’s been a fantastic journey watching our Sports Center initiative grow over the past months. We are connecting local Sports Centers to individuals of all ages across India with a mission to provide opportunities for sports education, recreation and competition. Through this initiative, we now have over 70 centres signed up and aim to increase this number to 500 before the end of 2023.

With access to these resources and guidance from talented mentors, there is no limit to what can be achieved. We are pleased to have undertaken this project and look forward excitedly as we continue on our journey.

Exams can easily be seen as overwhelming and stressful experiences - especially when you’re talking about major exams such as the NIOS, Edexcel, Cambridge, or American Board Exams. But this shouldn’t diminish the hard work and dedication that the 400+ students preparing for these exams next year have put in their preparations! All their effort will surely pay off with flying colours and distinction when the time comes around. Exams aren’t just plain obstacles for success to overcome, it is rather a stepping stone to great achievements in the future; successes cheered on by the ever-supportive Crew. Government of India announces National Credit Framework

After years of deliberation, the Government of India has finally announced its much-anticipated Credit Framework for Education, bringing Indian Education up to speed with the rest of the world. Every student enrolled in Grade 5 will have the chance to earn credit points all the way up to completing their PhD, creating an entirely new system by which students can measure their progress over the course of their academic career. as they now no longer have any bearing on these Credit Points.

This framework also significantly reduces the stress associated with high-stakes board exams.

This news is amazing and changes an age-old hurdle into an incredible opportunity;

At 21K School, we have long advocated for Skill Based Learning and Assessment, as opposed to over-reliance on marks scored, so to see this policy adopted by the government is a delight beyond compare! Such a policy shift has certainly been long overdue!

For instance, a student can be enrolled on various subjects from different boards and complete their schooling, making education more accessible and flexible. Imagine taking 3 brilliant courses from Cambridge and then expanding one’s learning with 2 exceptional topics from Edexcel!

This unique policy makes it easier for students to obtain the required qualifications and makes learning so much more enjoyable with all its possibilities. Furthermore, such an increase in choice allows individuals to unleash their academic potential in line with their interests, thus allowing them to optimise the purpose of education.

The Policy also mandates compliance to minimum notional learning hours from Grade 5 onwards and 21K School will make necessary changes to comply with the Policy.

Students at 21K School have been given an exciting opportunity with the new policy change. With four curriculums offered, students have the potential to put themselves in pole position for their future academic success. This shift presents students with a unique opportunity that may not be available again.

We look forward to the NCrF being implemented in Academic Year 2023 and are confident students will take full advantage of this prospect for their own growth and development.

Credit points earned can be used in place of percentiles gained in Boards

The National Credit Framework Policy provides students an exciting new opportunity to experience the best of different boards.

Most single-board schools will not be able to take advantage of this exciting new development.

It all began when parent feedback, both positive and negative, started to pour in. We were motivated by the kind words of support but more importantly, we paid attention to the voices of frustration. With student experience being our focus, we knew that something had to change. So, the Founders along with the team, put together a comprehensive plan to improve our Support Crew right away. Now,

Some of the changes initiated are:

• We have merged the multiple contact points into a single team - The Support Team.

• We now have a dedicated student success advisor for every parent

• We have trained and provided each student success advisor with the right information so that they can support you right. We value your time and it’s not right to issues go in circles.

• To ensure greater assurance, we are introducing a simplified Escalation matrix so that you can reach the right persons if you are unhappy with the resolution provided.

21K School Song – The Joy of 21K

The students of 21K School’s Grade 5 MA British Curriculum Batch 2022-23 have all come together to express their spirit of #being21k with a school song.

It began with a simple idea, and soon the enthusiasm among the students spread like wildfire. When they approached their homeroom teacher, Ms Sanmita, and the Academic Coordinator, Ms Cindrella, to put forth their proposal for a school song, the support and encouragement from their teachers only amplified as they started working on it. After months of hard work dedicated to brainstorming, collaborating, and exploring ideas and concepts, they were ready with a beautiful piece that was literally music to everyone’s ears.

A special note of appreciation goes out to Ms Sanmita and Ms Cindrella who never fail to create such wonderful opportunities for their students and encourage them in every way possible.
