Trustee for CAB Eastleigh CAB needs a trustee to join the board and help provide leadership. You should be able to give time and commitment to bureau affairs, keep yourself informed about CAB issues and think strategically. Eastleigh Citizens Advice Bureau is an independent local charity, which is a member of the national Citizens Advice network. CAB helps people solve their legal, financial and other problems by providing information and advice, and by influencing policy makers. Trustees are supported by an induction programme, information documents, web based guidance and a strong team. The post is voluntary but reasonable expenses are paid. Applications are welcomed from all sections of the community.
Volunteer Finance Director We have focused on Trustee roles as 2-8 November 2015 is Trustees’ Week. Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.
4Youth is looking for someone with Financial Management experience and expertise to advise and support their Board of Directors. Their role would be to: ensure the proper financial administration of the charity
guide the organisation in financial planning and decision making
Trustee for Age Concern Eastleigh
safeguard and protect the assets of the charity
ensure the Board remains true to the charitable purpose set out in the governing document
Help in forward planning and managing a wide range of activities at the Age Concern centre is required by Age Concern Eastleigh. Age Concern is a small charity based at Romsey Road, Eastleigh, which promotes the well-being of all older people by organising social, cultural and physical activities at the centre. Volunteers required: 1) Trustee 2) Chair/Vice Chair. Hours to suit, but would appreciate about one morning a week, plus three short meetings a year and AGM attendance.
4Youth is a local charity working across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton to support young people and those individuals and organisations working with young people.
