ith Valentine’s Day a feature of February, and thoughts of love in mind, have you ever thought about volunteering as a way of meeting that certain special person—or even a bunch of people who might bring new friends into your life? Volunteering is a great way of escaping the confines of your everyday life, broadening your horizons and meeting new people. To find out more, take a look at the volunteering opportunities listed here in this newsletter, come and see us at one of our outreach events (see below), or make an appointment to meet us in the office on 023 8090 2458. You can also browse our volunteering opportunities on the do-it website: www.do-it.org

Drivers Volunteer drivers are needed by groups all across the borough, either using their own cars to provide transport to those you cannot access public transport (mileage rate paid), or to train to drive a community mini bus. Full details of opportunities on request.
