welcome from Qually-T We are excited for our First Annual Production Sale. We have been in the Limousin breed for 30 years and are very proud of the program we have developed. This next step has been a long time in the making. We have expanded to the point where this day had to come, as we are the largest registered Limo breeders in Canada. The herd has been continuously developed with purchasing Top bulls from across the land and using Top A.I. sires as well.

We cull heavily all winter to make this the most complete group of bred heifers we have raised to date. We strive for productive cattle that will work in many different programs and environments. Every bred heifer we have this year is here for your appraisal; none were kept back for this event.

We have decided to put a few bulls in the sale. They have been grown slow with longevity in mind. Bulls will be semen tested prior to sale day, so they will be fully insurable. We will winter all bulls until spring that are insured for the new owners.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to all of our buyer’s past, present, and new. We invite you to come early to view the cattle and join us for lunch. See you on November 17th!

welcome from OBI livestock Ltd. Welcome to the 1st Annual Qually-T Limousin Production Sale. The Quallys are a farm-based operation at Rose Valley, SK. With all the members of the family contributing. When visiting the farm, you sure do appreciate the commitment they have to the Limousin breed. They are the largest Limousin breeders in Canada with over 300 purebred cows working at the farm, so the decision was to lighten the work load at home for the family.

The offering of these bred heifers is very high as this is the Entire set of them nothing is kept back for your appraisal. Bloodlines are a major contribution to the quality of these females. Qually-T Limousin select top end bulls from breed leaders over the years and also use a heavy A.I. program to create new genetics for their herd. A true testament that keeps the lineage fresh for their customers.

The bulls on offer are not held over bulls at all, they are top end bulls that Chris and Alvin have kept for their customers to offer in this very sale. They are sound, fertile bulls with great muscle expression and very docile.

Walking the pastures was so pleasing with them and they constantly wanted to be around you.

Well what can I say about this great breeding bull. He did such an amazing job for us this past year and we were so fortunate to obtain him from Diamond C Limousin at Ponoka, AB. Neil and family sure raised one heck of a breeding bull. He was one of the High Sellers that day at $12,500. Diamond C Elf is smooth, double polled that is medium framed and deep bodied that will be around the farm for a while. He saw service for the entire set of bred heifers at the farm.

This is a bull we chose to use in our A.I. program this past spring. We admire his muscle pattern, thickness and good foot under him. He has style and very eye appealing to all. Cracker 17E was the $20,000 bull at the Cattle Call Sale. He is dark cherry red with great numbers across the board and a pedigree we all want a part of. We A.I.’ed him to 6 of the bred heifers in the sale.

Terms and conditions VIEWING OF CATTLE Viewing of cattle at the farm can happen any day leading up to the sale; call ahead please. Cattle will be displayed at Saskatoon Livestock Sales, Saskatoon, Sk. from Friday November 15 to Sale Day. TERMS OF SALE The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement, no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. All cattle will sell under the standard terms and conditions set forth by the Canadian Limousin Association.

BIDDING Every animal entering the sale ring will be sold to the highest bidder.

DISPUTES In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision of all disputes is final.

ANNOUNCEMENTS All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.

Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to any such announcements.

BREEDER’S GUARANTEE & PREGNANCY INFORMATION All serviceable age females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited vet, giving an estimated length of gestation. This

estimated gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service.

DNA TESTING DNA testing the coupons in these females is the responsibility of the new owner if there is a discrepancy.

BULLS SELLING The bulls selling will have passed a semen test prior to the sale. If you so choose, Qually-T Limousin will take the bulls home and winter them for you. They MUST BE INSURED if going back to the farm.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Limousin Association unless otherwise stated. A certificate of registry transferred will be issued to the buyer after the full and final payment has been made.

TRUCKING Please do bring your trailers to the sale as all cattle will be leaving the Auction Mart Sale Day. Please do make Prior arrangements if unable to bring a trailer. Cattle can leave anytime from Auction Mart as Long as paid for with the clerks. We will also be coordinating trucks the next day if we need to do so. All costs are to the purchaser.

LIABILITIES All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that OBI Livestock Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations.
