Mackie 4-H Steers 2025

Page 1

When you purchase a 4-H beef you support youth in agriculture, a local butcher, and receive quality beef for a fraction of the store cost.

Hi my name is Mia Mackie and I have been a member of the Reno Multiple 4-H Club for the past 10 years.

This year I have a big black white-faced steer named Whiskey and a purebred Hereford heifer I raised named Moonshine. Whiskey is a steer I raised and is off of my favourite cow. He should weigh 1450 lbs on sale day. I have a butcher date at Ranch House meats and will deliver him. I have had lots of fun watching this steer grow from a calf and can’t wait to see how he yields.

I would like to invite everyone to District 10 Regional Fair on June 10 in Maple Creek. Show starts at 9:00 am and sale is at 3:00 pm.

I hope to see you there

Hi my name is Ava Mackie and I am 10 years old. This is my 4th year in 4-H.

I have a huge Hereford steer I bought from my grandma and grandpa. He is a Hereford influenced steer named Willy. My steer is big and fat and loves stepping on my toes.

I also have a purebred Hereford heifer and cow/calf pair. My heifer’s name is Baby Shannon, the cows name is Queen B and her calf’s name is Princess B.

I booked a slaughter day in Shaunavon at Ranch House Meats and we can deliver him. I have had a great year in 4-h and can’t wait to show my project off June 10.

My name is Rio Mackie, I am 7 years old. This is my 2nd year in the Reno Multiple 4-H Club.

I have a big Charolais steer name Creamy Cream Puff. He should be over 1300lbs at the sale. I have had fun working on him, but can’t wait to sell him.

If you have any questions, give me a call and I can tell you all about him. I hope to see you at our Regional Fair.
