The project starts with respect for hens and aims to provide a comfortable environment for hens. When I saw hens trapped in a cage at my grandma’s house, it triggered my thinking about the laying hen breeding industry. I’m trying to find a way that respects the hen itself and is sustainable. Thinking about this business model helped me with this project. / ECOLOGICAL HEN HOUSE
Use of the enriched cage for the hens impedes the performance of locomotion, exploring, dust bathing, foraging, wing flapping and stretching.
Battery cages are the predominant form of housing for laying hens worldwide. They are barren, restrict movement, prevent many natural behaviours.
NOWANT
Aviary housing consists of several floors. The floor of the house contains litter in which the animals forage and bathe in sand.
Floor housing is a free-range house without floors, which offers a better overview. There is no outside run.
There is a free-range barn with floor housing and free ranging outside during the day. Hens get organic feed, and they have a little more space when they are indoors.

FREE RANGE HENS
The store accommodates the building's sales function and allows hens to hand to create a reality. Eggs are sold in stores, and visitors are attracted by the eggs. There are dining and viewing functions to increase the attraction of the space to visitors.
Chickens feel safe standing up high, so mimicking the shape of a tree provides a place for them to sleep.
The chickens have their doors to leave the coop for walking and foraging.
Laying Eggs
The laying cabinet is located in a shaded area to create a quiet and comfortable laying environment for laying hens.
Workers collect the eggs, then inspect them and pack them.
A feeding trough is provided to ensure the chickens can be fed without going out.
Tables supported by rice-haystacks can be used as dining tables for visitors.
This is a double shelf supported by rice-haystacks.
The egg packing process can be seen through the window. There are small Windows for children to see.
Sliding doors are used, and transparent plastic film is superimposed on the inside to prevent rain from entering.
HENHOUSE ISOMETRIC ANALYSIS
The henhouse’s design fully respects the hens’ living habits. Here they can exercise, explore, dust bathing, forage, wing flapping, and stretch. It can provide various resources that individuals can choose to use: access to woodland, for example, and the provision of wholegrains and forage crops, complex structures to explore and a variety of dust baths.

There are grass and worm outside.
There are dry straws and organic grain feed inside.
Visiting and dining functions allow visitors to feel relaxed in this space. Everyone sits on the bench and chats, the table next to it is full of delicious food, and the children are playing next to it.
This kind of cosy place always attracts a steady stream of new tourists.

The high and fixed feeding trough is convenient for the hens to eat, and the transparent roof allows the chickens to receive adequate sunlight.
Egg dishes are served to enhance the experience. Visit this space to see how eggs are processed, buy the freshest organic eggs, and finish with a taste of specialty food.
JELLY FISH
/ OFFSHORE ISOLATION CABIN
The project provides a safe and stress-relieving isolation place for passengers on cruise ships. As a passenger, every time I am on the boat, there will be jellyfish floating next to the boat, which is a beautiful scenery. So I did some in-depth research on jellyfish. I generated the entire spatial form based on the body structure of the jellyfish. I made this quarantine space both safe and mentally satisfying to people during quarantine.
Medical Monitoring
Doctors can monitor health status at all times.
Pass-Through Box
Reduce the possibility of virus transmission.
Separate Room
A group of people quarantined together will spread the virus to each other, so they need to be quarantined separately.
develop a system for friends
To Aid Relaxation
Reduce the sense of confinement and strengthen the tourism and leisure attributes
Wide Field Of Vision
Requires a sense of openness and transparency.
To Communicate With People
Interact face-to-face with friends to reduce negative emotions.
Negative Pressure Ward
Divide the infection-free and potentially infected areas.

The main body of the installation is six models, books piled up next to them into skyscrapers and bungalows, mirrors doubling their numbers.
EMOTIONAL BELT
/ INSPIRED BY THE TRADITIONAL WAY OF CARRYING A CHILD
Inspired by the baby straps of the Hakka family, I transformed the facade space of the two factories to increase the time for workers and children to accompany each other. While maintaining the function of the warehouse to store steel waste, the interspersed space is designed to connect the factory and the warehouse.
Introduction of Family Members
Dad Zhihua Huang
Mom Li Zhang
He worked in a mold factory and often worked overtime to make more money. She is also an employee of the mold factory.
Brother
Jiahao Huang
He is in Grade five in primary school.
Sister Mizhen Huang
She is in grade two and has to get up early to go to class. There is a lot of homework in the evening.
Pattern of Relationship
How can parents spend more time with their children? Different ways of getting along is one way to solve the problem. The first is to do different things in different Spaces at the same time. Another way is to do different things in the same space at the same time.
Timeline
The timeline shows different things that parents and children do at different times. Parents have very little effective time with their children, only two and a half hours a day, which includes breakfast in the morning and a bath in the evening.
Sleep, and no communication
Concept Development
Different ways of space construction are derived from the straps: crossing, hanging, crossing of vertical moving lines, crossing of horizontal moving lines, stretching and knotting of space.
ISOMETRIC ANALYSIS
In combination with the different spatial construction methods developed, the two factories and warehouses are shuttled and tied together on the facades. Use space as a cloth belt connecting parents and children.
Step 1: Through the child's armpit, corresponds to the space crossing and hanging.
Step 2: Cross the rope in front of the adult, corresponding to vertical space intersection.
Step 3: Go around the back and cross hold the child, corresponding to the horizontal intersection and extension of the space.
Step 4: Circle back to the adult in front of the knot, derived more complex spatial structure.
