Height and spatial experience

The Hadrian's Villa has a profound historical significance. In order to echo the historical context of the Roman era, this project will adopt the technique of earthen construction, creating a continuity with the past and establishing a connection between modern visitors and the historical layers of the site. It is a subtle response to the topographical challenges of the site, a commitment to sustainable practices, and a manifestation of respect for the history and architectural heritage of the region.

Urban transportation hubs assume the function of first gathering people and then dispersing them to various cities

Su rrou n d ed by a l arge n u mb er of residential areas, this traffic core is not only sightseeing, but also daily

The distance from the surrounding subway station to the site is beyond the optimal walking range, and the urban functional space around the site can only diverge outward through this traffic core

Around the site, there are tracks, viaducts, high-rise buildings and other factors that cut off the surrounding urban space, and the crowd cannot disperse

Scheme generation STEP1 In the site, the entrances and exits of trains, light rail and subway are triangle distributed in the site

STEP2 The site traffic core is placed at the three ends of the triangle.

STEP3 Take the traffic core as the orientation, place the high-rise and the railway station.

STEP4 The podium is placed to form an urban garden on the ground, and the upper floors are used as hotel and office buildings respectively

STEP5 The podium is pushed back to form a stepped shape, which opens up the view and adds more public space
