REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
Registration for all classes, programs, activities and events are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is due at the time of registration. All registration is accepted online at www.JARPD.org, or at the Park District Office, Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Registration for Senior Classes and activities may also be taken at the Eddie Dee Smith Senior Center. Classes and activities are not pro-rated. Dates, times, location and fees are subject to change without notice. A $25.00 service charge will be applied to all returned checks. Pre-registration is required as classes must meet minimum enrollments before class will start.
FEES
Registration fees are based upon Park District Residency. Residents are determined by those who reside within the Zip Codes 91752 and 92509. Those living outside these zip codes are considered non-residents. Please call the Park District Office for the most up to date information. Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express cards accepted.
REFUND & LATE FEE POLICY
» REFUNDS are only issued in the event the Park District cancels a program, class, activity or event. Approved refunds will be issued via check for cash and check purchases. Payments made by credit card will be refunded to the card upon which original payment was made. (Some restrictions apply)
» LATE FEE POLICY: For parent(s) and/or guardian(s), with a child enrolled in a Park District program, arriving late to pick up a child any time after 5 minutes from the time the program has ended, a “Late Fee” will take effect. A fee of $1.00 per minute will be applied every minute thereafter until a parent/guardian arrives. This late fee payment is due in full, immediately, upon arrival by cash or check only. In the event this fee is not paid at the time of arrival, the child will then be excused from the program in which they are enrolled. The payment must be paid at the Jurupa Area Recreation and Park District Office before the child may return to the program.

PRESCHOOL AQUATICS (AGES: 4 – 5YRS)
Orients preschool-age children, ages 4 - 5, to the aquatic environment with an emphasis on water safety, survival, and foundational swimming concepts.
LEARN-TO-SWIM (FOR SWIMMERS ABOUT 6 YRS. OLD & UP)
LEVEL 1 - INTRODUCTION TO WATER SKILLS
Helps Participants feel comfortable in the water. Begin developing positive attitudes, good swimming habits and safe practices in and around the water.
Prerequisite: None. Minimum enrollment: 3 per class; Maximum: 6.
LEVEL 2- FUNDAMENTAL AQUATIC SKILLS
Gives participants success with fundamental skills, including learning how to float without support and to recover to a vertical position. Prerequisite: Valid American Red Cross Learn to Swim Level 1 Certificate or successful demonstration of all certification requirements from Level 1. Minimum enrollment: 3 per class; Maximum: 6.
LEVEL 3 - STROKE DEVELOPMENT
Build on skills learned in Level 2 through additional guided practice in deeper waters. Prerequisite: Valid American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim level 2 Certificate or successful demonstration of all certification requirements from Level 2.
Minimum enrollment: 3 per class; Maximum: 10.
LEVEL 4 - STROKE DEVELOPMENT
Develop confidence in the strokes learned in Level 3 and to improve other aquatic skills. Prerequisite: Valid American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 3 or successful demonstration of all certification requirements from Level 3. Minimum enrollment: 3 per class; Maximum: 10.

ADULT SWIMMING LESSONS
Learn the fundamentals of swimming from a certified instructor. Minimum enrolment: 3; Minimum enrollment: 3 per class; Maximum: 8.
JUNIOR LIFEGUARD CAMP (AGES: 11 – 15)

Participants will learn CPR and basic water rescues while staying active by running, swimming, and working out. Gain team building and leadership skills while building friendships and having fun!
Must be a LEVEL 3 or higher swimmer. Sessions are two weeks long.

This is a seven-game recreational league for boys and girls with two weeks of pre-season practice. Teams will practice two days per week during the season. Volunteer coaches must clear background checks and clear fingerprinting before being granted a team. Special requests for a particular coach, practice time, carpools, etc. are not guaranteed. This is a 4-week session in which students will learn basic principles of painting with acrylic paints. Classes will include, but is not limited to, using different tools and techniques, blending, and mixing colors. The session will end with a completed piece of art on a 16x20 canvas. Active senior citizens aged 55 and older, who do not require special care or adult supervision, are welcome to register as a member of the senior center. Membership is free. RANCHO JURUPA REGIONAL SPORTS PARK

Located at 5249 Crestmore Road, the Rancho Jurupa Regional Sports Park is home to 32 acres of beautiful, lush, natural and synthetic turf fields. Comprising four large marked and lighted synthetic turf fields, two large natural turf fields as well as nine smaller natural turf fields, the park is available by reservation for many outdoor activities.

Nestled between the synthetic and natural fields is a landscaped plaza with picnic shelters, restrooms, a snack bar, and two playgrounds. Illuminating the four synthetic and two natural fields is green lighting by Musco.

MAYORES / 55 Y MEJORES ACTIVIDADES Y SERVICIOS El Centro para Personas Mayores Eddie Dee Smith, que tiene una valiosa historia en la comunidad, está ubicado en 5888 Mission Blvd. El centro ahora es operado por JARPD bajo un acuerdo con la Ciudad de Jurupa Valley.
