FREE riding-touring is booming 700k touring skiers and 300k freeriders are out and about each year. Touring skiing has already established itself in popular sports. But not only the number of ski mountaineers is impressive: Within ten years the average age has dropped from over 40 to under 30, which is absolutely great news for the sporting goods industry. The young ski tourer and freerider is looking for new brands to give them their own new identification and a modern ski image.

Skiing has arrived in the young generation and is fully in the upward trend. Thanks to the new materials and the new ski shapes, even the hobby skier can move amazingly well in the off-piste zone. Redbull, Youtube and Instagram has catapulted the skiing off-piste-touring & climbing.

Competitive ski mountaineering will become an Olympic discipline in 2026, making this type of ski even more attractive.

Corona virus on top will give even more importance to touring as the sport can be executed without the need to use crowded cable cars, and it goes well with the increased demand experiencing nature without the help of energy driving devices.

The NEOTERIC CAMBER lets you feel the complete ski from tip to tail at all times, it has more surface that is in contact with the snow. In combination with the MEDIUMLIGHT GLASSFIBER CONSTRUCTION it provides supplementary stability and enabling higher speed, keeping the ski steady and almost anchored to the snow. When skiing you get more the traditional ski feeling. Turns come even and regular. The extensive surface contact guarantees a domination of snow. The BALANCED-FLEX has been engineered to accentuate the neoteric camber giving a feeling that is evolutionary. Any snow or mountain is welcome always having a strong, stable, powerful and active ski experience with immense grip and control.. The neoteric has an early and proportional high front rise that reduces the risk of the tip plunging into the snow, thus permitting you to ski relaxed at midpoint.

CONSTRUCTED with two layers of Fiberglass on top a poplar wood core and underneath two layers of Fiberglass. Strengthened in the upper middle and below the foot by additional phenol-plates inlayed to reinforce the screws of the bindings, an X-tape of newest carbon fiber and a ribbon of carbon-kevlar in the tip. Manufactured where all fiber layers, above and below, completely traverse the ski covering the sidewalls, this technic adds a lot of strength.

There is no such thing as having the one and only OGSO snow shovel. Good digging tools are the backbone of any free rider and mountaineer. Use them for landscaping or rescue.

OGSO shovels concept is to extract maximum of snow with every movement. You can fold them to minimum size for transporting them in your backpack. They are extremely light and yet solid enough for effective usage.
