Leading the design team at Letrecorp SA, to win the concept and design bid for the full implementation of the firms office in Lima of ITALTEL in Peru.
The concept of the traditional hierarchical positions in the work space is now a thing of the past, in the time this project was launched and won, the idea of the top hierarchical positions having the best view of the office was corporate stereotype. Our wining proposal aimed to give back the view of Lima's Hippodrome at this 9th floor to the working men and women of ITALTEL.
The window view of the 40 linear meter front office, and populating it with one on one meeting lounges, and the open area kitchenet. Following this proposal a second parallel line of windowed private offices and meeting rooms were installed for the top executives and personal.
A sense of balance is achieved as the office worker has a contemplative space to view the city and once more architecture has served its purpose to regain the wellbeing of working men and women.
Peru has been one of the countries most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the situation room of the Peruvian Ministry of Health (MINSA), more than 1.9 million cases and more than 186,500 deaths due to COVID-19 were reported by June 7, 2021.
MINSA called upon Staging Companies, known for there fast track execution and modular system constructions, to build in 20 days a fully equipped temporary hospital. As Project Manager for Burana SAC, I delivered with in a budget of 2.8MM USD the architecture design proposal, the onsite management and execution control, leading a staff of 10 professionals and a crew of 430 working men and women at site, working on doble shifts on the most tight H&S regulations in the harsh Amazon Region of Peru.
Following the best practices of the PMI, we delivered a LEVEL I: HEALTH SERVICE in an Area of 2200 m2 with 100 beds fully equipped, and oxygen plant of 36 TN with a vacuum system.

.The design done by Futurebrands, there design had a DMX lighting sequence and the request for and channel letter solution on a fixed fabric.
This task was to be done in 7 months, due to the “time tightness” expressed in the bid, I took the production of all elements to be done in extruded aluminum at a site in Grand Rapids Michigan by our partner company Signcomp, this change in design gave us and advantage against the other companies in reduction of time implementation. This was the first time and extruded aluminum signage system was installed in Perú.
The project was delivered with success, managing a budget of 12MM USD for a total of 6months of deployment and 16 teams of Production Management and technical hand labor.
