Heritage Tile is a tile company that strives to provide historically authentic tile/stone products and design services. As a summer Interior Architecture Intern one of my projects was to design Parisian/Art Nouveau style bathrooms that he Paris nd are

Floor Tile Pattern

Métro Tile - Specialty Tile

This bathroom has a couple of tile patterns. Large tiles are used as wainscot, with the scallop specialty tile topping off the wainscot. The same large tile is then turned diagonally for the upper half.

These bathrooms also use a sanitary cove base, a tile that rounds out at the bottom to meet with the floor and make it easier to clean

WALL CONCEPTS

These wall concepts are smaller examples of how Métro Tile can be used on wall installations.

A.D. BARNES PARK

A.D. Barnes Park

Nature Pavilion Miami, FL

Rhino, Revit, Illustrator, Lumion

CONCEPT

This project explores the dynamic transition from urban life to nature mirroring the park‘s evolution from structured, human-designed landscapes to untamed natural surroundings. The design embraces this progression through a spatial hierarchy that flows from private to public.

Drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean Revival style a hallmark of Coral Gables’ architectural heritage the nature center integrates open patios as a vital design element.

SCHEMATIC DESIGN

The patios not only honor the region‘s historical aesthetic but also serve as functional extensions of the discovery and resiliency rooms, offering additional flexible spaces By blurring the boundary between interior and exterior the patio becomes a threshold that enriches the experience of transitioning from built environments to the natural world.

BUBBLE DIAGRAM

The foyer daycare, multi-purpose room, and kitchen/dining are adjacent to each other so that all the loud spaces are clustered together

The library is semi-adjacent to the ICZs separating the communal areas from the more private resident apartments

PARTII DIAGRAM

Fluid circulation within the communal areas leads residents to each ICZ without relying on an egg crate floorplan

SCHEMATIC DESIGN

LOOSE FLOOR PLAN

Spaces are laid out to create circulation that weaves in and about. The open ICZs let residents peek in as they go to other facilities.

The final floorplan switches the library with the top 1-bedroom apartment so as to create a solid distinction between ICZ and private zones.
