SPRING GARDEN PAVILION

ADC- 209 Design Studio III

Community College of Philadelphia

The idea of my project is to communicate the inside with the outside. I started with the idea of the figure of a rhombus combining two rhombuses forming a union to communicate the pavilion and the workshop. I made a separation to communicate the nature of the exterior from the inside of the project. My project will play with different kinds of heights and will have a small Balcony making a connection with the roof of the pavilion. What I want to convey is the essence of communicating nature in the same composition, through height, spaces, and transition.

The design layout creates several open spaces, and some quiet private spaces according to the program areas.
