Zirimiri Press is an independent publishing house that focuses on literature from less translated languages. Our aim is to publish quality literary works that fall outside of the scope of the mainstream publishing market and would otherwise not make it into Dutch. Our name, Zirimiri, is Basque for drizzle – an almost imperceptible type of rain that soaks the soil – and stands as a symbol of constant and effective work.
