Design a square in a verry modern new area in Amsterdam. In this square there has to be found a sollution for the difference in hight of 1,5 meter.

Who are the users of the square? * Visitors of the the theatre. * Employees of the compagnies in the area. * Tourists who stay in the near by hotels. * Students. * People who live in the area.

I went to have look to experience the feeling in this new project area myself. I got the idea that this whole new city was created whit everything a city needs and that inspired me. Whit this in my mind I saw a skyline.

I want to bring the nature in my square. Immediatly I start to think of a typical dutch polder landscape.

After I did some researge I ended up developing a skyline which covered the square as a shadow.

The shaow makes the space.
