PORTFOLIO SELECTED WORKS 2017-2021 JIAXI ZHENG
After completing MArch AD in the Bartlett, UCL, and BArch in Tianjin University, I can work well in individual work and am willing to take on new challenges in group work, learning from others and always offering fresh ideas to move the project forward. The internship experience at Yuangou Architects & Consultants in Shanghai and Temple of Heaven in Beijing has developed my ability to work both in group and independently, to produce deliverables under time pressure and to liaise between departments. In addition, I have thrived on experimenting with different concepts and thought-provoking ideas, providing new perspectives on age-old problems and adaptive reuse solutions. Out of keen insight and insterests in observing human beings and life, I care about cultural equality and diversity. I have always been concerned with making a difference in the details of human-oriented designs to conform to different human behaviors that embrace personality differences. Besides, inspired by interdisciplinary design, I have cultivated a open mind and solid software skills, dedicated to continuously broadening the boundaries of approaches to solving architectural problems through emerging technologies, to shape a better world.
