Research The following contents are all the research results used in this project. Because they are not printed on paper, I wrote another document to tell me how to use these materials and my ideas when drawing works. In addition, the languages of these materials are different. Because it is difficult to translate many proper nouns, I directly provide Chinese materials here Of documents. In order to record the process of my research.

The Qliphoth/Qlippoth/Qlifot or Kelipot (Hebrew: ‫קְ לִ יּפֹות‬, the different English spellings are used in the alternative Kabbalistic traditions[1] of Hermetic Qabalah and Jewish Kabbalah respectively), literally "Peels", "Shells" or "Husks" (from singular: ‫ קְ לִ ּפָּה‬qlippah "Husk"),[2] are the representation of evil or impure spiritual forces in Jewish mysticism, the polar opposites of the holy Sefirot.[3] The realm of evil is also termed Sitra Achra/Aḥra (Aramaic ‫סטרא אחרא‬, the "Other Side" opposite holiness) in Kabbalah texts.

In Jewish Kabbalah In Jewish Kabbalistic cosmology of Isaac Luria, the qlippot are metaphorical "shells" surrounding holiness. They are spiritual obstacles receiving their existence from God only in an external, rather than internal manner. Divinity in Judaism connotes revelation of God's true unity, while the shells conceal holiness, as a peel conceals the fruit within. They are therefore synonymous with idolatry, the root of impurity through ascribing false dualism in the Divine, and with the Sitra Achra (‫" סטרא אחרא‬Other Side"), the perceived realm opposite to holiness. They emerge in the descending seder hishtalshelus (Chain of Being) through Tzimtzum (contraction of the Divine Ohr), as part of the purpose of Creation. In this they also have beneficial properties, as peel protects the fruit, restraining the Divine flow from being dissipated. Kabbalah distinguishes between two realms in qlippot, the completely impure and the intermediate.

Their four "concentric" terms are derived from Ezekiel's vision (1:4), "And I looked and behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it..."[4] The "Three Impure Qlippot" (completely Tamei "impure") are read in the first three terms, the intermediate "Shining Qlippah" (Nogah "brightness") is read in the fourth term, mediating as the first covering directly surrounding holiness, and capable of sublimation. In medieval Kabbalah, the Shekhinah is separated in Creation from the Sefirot by man's sin, while in Lurianic Kabbalah Divinity is exiled in the qlippot from prior initial Catastrophe in Creation. This causes "Sparks of Holiness" to be exiled in the qlippot, Jewish Observance with physical objects redeeming mundane Nogah, while the Three Impure Qlippot are elevated indirectly through Negative prohibitions. Repentance out of love retrospectively turns sin into virtue, darkness into light. When all the sparks are freed from the qlippot, depriving them of their vitality, the Messianic era begins. In Hasidic philosophy, the kabbalistic scheme of qlippot is internalised in psychological experience as self-focus, opposite to holy devekut self-nullification, underlying its Panentheistic Monistic view of qlippot as the illusionary self-awareness of Creation.

Hermetic Qabalah magical views In some non-Jewish Hermetic Qabalah, contact is sought with the Qliphoth unlike in the ethical-mystical Jewish prohibition, as part of its process of human self-knowledge. In

contrast, the theurgic Jewish Practical Kabbalah was understood by its practitioners as similar to white magic, accessing only holiness, while the danger in such venture of mixing impure Magic ensured it remained a minor and restricted practice in Jewish history.

Mathers' interpretation Christian Knorr von Rosenroth's Latin Kabbala denudata (1684) (translated The Kabbalah Unveiled by MacGregor Mathers) equates these forces with the Kings of Edom and also offers the suggestion they are the result of an imbalance towards Gedulah, the Pillar of Mercy or the merciful aspect of God, and have since been destroyed.[5] In subsequent Hermetic teachings, the Qliphoth have tended, much like the sephirot, to be interpreted as mystical worlds or entities, and merged with ideas derived from demonology.

In most descriptions, there are seven divisions of Hell (Sheol or Tehom; Abaddon or Tzoah Rotachat; Be'er Shachat (‫בְּ אֵ ר שַׁ חַׁ ת‬, Be'er Shachath — "pit of corruption") or Mashchit; Bor Shaon (‫" — בֹור שָׁ אֹון‬cistern of sound") or Tit ha-Yaven (‫" — ִטיט הַׁ ָׁיוֵן‬clinging mud"); Dumah or Sha'are Mavet (‫שַׁ ע ֲֵרי מָׁ וֶת‬, Sha'arei Maveth — "gates of death"); Neshiyyah (‫" — נְּ ִשיָׁה‬oblivion", "Limbo") or Tzalmavet; and Eretz Tachtit ( ‫אֶ ֶרץ‬ ‫תַׁ חְּ ִתית‬, Erets Tachtith — "lowest earth") or Gehenna),[6][7][8][9] twelve Qliphotic orders of demons, three powers before Satan and twenty-two demons which correspond to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.[citation needed] Crowley, Regardie, and Heidrick According to Aleister Crowley, the three evil forms (before Samael), are said to be Qemetial, Belial, and Othiel.[10] According to Israel Regardie, the "qlipothic tree" consists of 10 spheres in opposition to the sephirot on the Tree of Life. These are also referred to as the "evil twins". They are also the "Evil Demons of Matter and the Shells of the Dead".[11] Bill Heidrick gives his own interpretation on the adverse tree, saying that the spellings are "mostly reconstructions with alternatives. Nonetheless, it is believed that the majority of the above are at least suitable if not perfect". He also goes on to say that "These names are sometimes called the 'adverse Sephiroth' instead of the Demonic Orders. A. E. Waite makes this later point in his Holy Kabbalah, page 256."[12] The following comes from the Notes on the Demonic Orders (Adverse Sephiroth) in Magical Correspondences by Bill Heidrick.

Thamiel Thamiel: Duality in God "Thamiel represents duality whereas Kether represents unity. Thus Thamiel is the division of that which is perfect only in unity. As a demonic order name, the Thamiel were before their 'revolt'. This signifies 'Perfection of God'. These angels sought to become more powerful by adding an Aleph to their name. They then became the 'Duality of God,' an order of the lesser demons. In the lowest state of their 'fall', they become 'the Polluted of

God.' The cortex or outer form of the Thamiel is called Cathariel, 'the Broken' or 'Fearful Light of God'."

Satan: Adversary To Thamiel, "there are two demons that are attributed to stress the view that the demonic opposite of Kether is duality instead of unity and are Satan and Moloch or Malech".

Chaigidel Chaigidel: Confusion of the Power of God "These are the confusion of that great power which, as Chokmah, goes forth at the beginning to give the vital energy of creation to the processes of Binah. The cortex of the Chaigidel is called Ghogiel, 'Those Who Go Forth into the Place Empty of God'."

Beelzebub: Lord of the Flies and Adam Belial: Wicker Man To Chaigidel, "both Satan and Beelzebub are attributed as well as Adam Belial. The name Belial is often used separately as a demonic name."

Sathariel Sathariel: Concealment of God "Even as Binah is the great revealing one who bestows the structure of the Absolute onto the created, its opposite, the Sathariel, conceals the nature of The Perfect. The cortex or outer form of the Sathariel is called the order of Sheireil, 'The Hairy Ones of God'."

Lucifuge: One Who Flees Light To Sathariel, Lucifuge "is attributed and means, 'to flee from light'". Early texts use the entity's "proper" name, 'Lucifuge Rofocale'.

Gamchicoth Gamchicoth: Devourers "Chesed is the source of bounty both in idea and in substance to the lower forms.

Gamchicoth is the order of 'Devourers' who seek to waste the substance and thought of creation. The outer form is the order of Azariel, 'The Binding Ones of God'."

Astaroth: from the Flood To Gamchicoth, "Astaroth is attributed. This is the name of the goddess Astarte, the Ishtar of the Babylonians and perhaps also the Isis of the Egyptians".

Golachab Golachab: Burning Bodies "Geburah is a going forth in power to rule in righteousness, in an upright manner. The order of Golab is composed of those who burn to do destruction, enforce their will upon others through strength and not righteousness, in a non-upright manner --- even on themselves. The outer form is Usiel, 'The Ruins of God'." (See wisdom of Solomon Ch 1, Verse 1, original Greek Septuagint states: "Love Righteousness, yee that be judges of the

earth", which is correct, the vulgate states: "Love Justice, you that are the judges of the earth", which is incorrect).

Asmodeus: The Destroying God or Samael the Black.

To Golachab, Asmodeus is attributed. "This name is half Hebrew and half Latin. Asmodeus is often mentioned in the literature of demonology. The name can also be translated as 'The one adorned with fire'." Whom they call also Samael the Black.

Thagirion Thagirion(n): Those Who Bellow Grief and Tears "Tiphereth is the place of great beauty and rejoicing. The Thagirion build ugliness and groan about it. The cortex of the Thagirion is called Zomiel, 'The Revolt of God'."

Belphegor: Lord of the Dead To Thagirion, "the replacement of Tiphereth, the sphere of the vitalising Sun, with a place holding Belphegor, the lord of dead, is most striking".

Harab Serapel Harab Serapel: Ravens of the Burning of God "Netzach is the openness of natural love. The Harab Serapel are the Ravens of Death who reject even their own. The outer form is Theumiel, 'The Fouled Substance of God'".

Baal: Lord and Tubal Cain: Maker of Sharp Weapons To Harab Serapel, "Baal is attributed, and is "a word which means Lord, much as Adonai means Lord. The word Baal or 'Bel' has become restricted in its usage to signify a 'Lord of Darkness'." Also attributed is Tubal Cain.

Samael Samael: The Desolation of God, or The Left Hand "Hod is the complex working of the will of the Absolute. Samael represents the barren desolation of a fallen and failed creation. The outer form is Theuniel, 'The filthy Wailing Ones of God'."

Adrammelech: Powerful King To Samael, Adrammelech is attributed. "This name is found in Fourth Kings: XVII, 29-31: ' And the men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima, and the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim."

Gamaliel Gamaliel: Polluted of God "Yesod is the place of the final forms that become matter in Malkuth. The Gamaliel are the Misshapen and polluted images that produce vile results. The outer form is the order of Ogiel, 'those Who Flee from God'."

Lilith: Night Specter To Gamaliel, Lilith is attributed and "is the grand lady of all demons. The demons are sometimes considered to be the children of Lilith and is said to be the woman who comes to men in their dreams."

Nehemoth Nehemoth: Whisperers (or Night Specter) "These are responsible for frightening sounds in strange places. They excite the mind and cause strange desires." This corresponds with Malkuth as well.

Naamah: Pleasant Naamah "is traditionally a demon and the sister of Lilith, possibly a remembrance of the Egyptian Nephthys and Isis. It is conceivable that Nehema is the same as Naamah, the sister of Tubal Cain."[citation needed] In popular culture The Qliphoth (spelled 'Qlippoth') has a heavy role in the "Book of the Fallen" supplement for Mage: The Ascension, 20th anniversary edition. The Nephandi (Evil Mages) go through a spiritual journey very heavily influenced by the ideas present in the Qliphoth.

A demonic tree named after the Qliphoth appears in the 2019 video game Devil May Cry 5.

The astral world's region of darkness is called Qliphoth in Berserk (manga).

In Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward Elric's door of truth is characterized by the Qliphoth.

In Persona 5, the final area of the game is named the "Qliphoth World".

In Black Clover, Dante, the leader of the dark triad, mentions a magic channel between the underworld and the regular world known as "The Tree of Qliphoth".

Lilith Lilith (/ˈlɪlɪθ/; Hebrew: ‫ לִ ילִ ית‬Lîlîṯ) is a figure in Jewish mythology, developed earliest in the Babylonian Talmud (3rd to 5th century AD). From c. 700–1000 AD onwards Lilith appears as Adam's first wife, created at the same time (Rosh Hashanah) and from the same clay as Adam—compare Genesis 1:27.[1] The figure of Lilith may relate in part to a historically earlier class of female demons (lilītu) in ancient Mesopotamian religion, found in cuneiform texts of Sumer, the Akkadian Empire, Assyria, and Babylonia.

The resulting Lilith legend continues to serve as source material in modern Western culture, literature, occultism, fantasy, and horror.

History In Jewish folklore, Alphabet of Sirach (c. 700–1000 CE) onwards, Lilith appears as Adam's first wife, who was created at the same time (Rosh Hashanah) and from the same clay as

Adam—compare Genesis 1:27 (This contrasts with Eve, who was created from one of Adam's ribs: Genesis 2:22.) The legend of Lilith developed extensively during the Middle Ages, in the tradition of Aggadah, the Zohar, and Jewish mysticism.[2] For example, in the 13th-century writings of Isaac ben Jacob ha-Cohen, Lilith left Adam after she refused to become subservient to him and then would not return to the Garden of Eden after she had coupled with the archangel Samael.[3] Interpretations of Lilith found in later Jewish materials are plentiful, but little information has survived relating to the Sumerian, Akkadian, Assyrian and Babylonian view of this class of demons. While researchers almost universally agree that a connection exists, recent scholarship has disputed the relevance of two sources previously used to connect the Jewish lilith to an Akkadian lilītu—the Gilgamesh appendix and the Arslan Tash amulets.[4] (See below for discussion of these two problematic sources.) "Other scholars, such as Lowell K. Handy, agree that Lilith derives from Mesopotamian demons but argue against finding evidence of the Hebrew Lilith in many of the epigraphical and artifactual sources frequently cited as such (e.g., the Sumerian Gilgamesh fragment, the Sumerian incantation from Arshlan-Tash)."[3]:174 In Hebrew-language texts, the term lilith or lilit (translated as "night creatures", "night monster", "night hag", or "screech owl") first occurs in a list of animals in Isaiah 34:14, either in singular or plural form according to variations in the earliest manuscripts.

Commentators and interpreters often envision the figure of Lilith as a dangerous demon of the night, who is sexually wanton, and who steals babies in the darkness. In the Dead Sea Scrolls 4Q510-511, the term first occurs in a list of monsters. Jewish magical inscriptions on bowls and amulets from the 6th century AD onwards identify Lilith as a female demon and provide the first visual depictions of her.

Etymology In the Akkadian language of Assyria and Babylonia, the terms lili and līlītu mean spirits.

Some uses of līlītu are listed in The Assyrian Dictionary of the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago (CAD, 1956, L.190), in Wolfram von Soden's Akkadisches Handwörterbuch (AHw, p. 553), and Reallexikon der Assyriologie (RLA, p. 47).[5] The Sumerian female demons lili have no etymological relation to Akkadian lilu, "evening".[6] Archibald Sayce (1882)[7] considered that Hebrew lilit (or lilith) ‫ לילית‬and the earlier Akkadian līlītu are from proto-Semitic. Charles Fossey (1902) has this literally translating to "female night being/demon", although cuneiform inscriptions from Mesopotamia exist where Līlīt and Līlītu refers to disease-bearing wind spirits.[8 Mesopotamian mythology The spirit in the tree in the Gilgamesh cycle Samuel Noah Kramer (1932, published 1938)[9] translated ki-sikil-lil-la-ke as Lilith in "Tablet XII" of the Epic of Gilgamesh dated c.600 BCE. "Tablet XII" is not part of the Epic of Gilgamesh, but is a later Assyrian Akkadian translation of the latter part of

the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh.[10] The ki-sikil-lil-la-ke is associated with a serpent and a zu bird.[11] In Gilgamesh, Enkidu, and the Netherworld, a huluppu tree grows in Inanna's garden in Uruk, whose wood she plans to use to build a new throne. After ten years of growth, she comes to harvest it and finds a serpent living at its base, a Zu bird raising young in its crown, and that a ki-sikil-lil-la-ke made a house in its trunk. Gilgamesh is said to have killed the snake, and then the zu bird flew away to the mountains with its young, while the ki-sikil-lil-la-ke fearfully destroys its house and runs for the forest.[12][13] Identification of ki-sikil-lil-la-ke as Lilith is stated in Dictionary of Deities and Demons in the Bible (1999).[14] According to a new source from Late Antiquity, Lilith appears in a Mandaic magic story where she is considered to represent the branches of a tree with other demonic figures that form other parts of the tree, though this may also include multiple "Liliths".[15] Suggested translations for the Tablet XII spirit in the tree include ki-sikil as "sacred place", lil as "spirit", and lil-la-ke as "water spirit".[16] but also simply "owl", given that the lil is building a home in the trunk of the tree.[17] A connection between the Gilgamesh ki-sikil-lil-la-ke and the Jewish Lilith was rejected

by Dietrich Opitz (1932)[18][failed verification] and rejected on textual grounds by Sergio Ribichini (1978).[19] The bird-footed woman in the Burney Relief Kramer's translation of the Gilgamesh fragment was used

by Henri [20] [21] Frankfort (1937) and Emil Kraeling (1937) to support identification of a woman with wings and bird-feet in the Burney Relief as related to Lilith. Frankfort and Kraeling incorrectly identified the figure in the relief with Lilith, based on a misreading of an outdated translation of the Epic of Gilgamesh.[22] Modern research has identified the figure as one of the main goddesses of the Mesopotamian pantheons, most probably Inanna or Ereshkigal.[23] The Arslan Tash amulets The Arslan Tash amulets are limestone plaques discovered in 1933 at Arslan Tash, the authenticity of which is disputed. William F. Albright, Theodor H. Gaster,[24] and others, accepted the amulets as a pre-Jewish source which shows that the name Lilith already existed in the 7th century BCE but Torczyner (1947) identified the amulets as a later Jewish source.[25]

In the Hebrew Bible The word lilit (or lilith) only appears once in the Hebrew Bible, while the other seven terms in the list appear more than once and thus are better documented. The reading of scholars and translators is often guided by a decision about the complete list of eight creatures as a whole.[26][27] Quoting from Isaiah 34 (NAB): (12) Her nobles shall be no more, nor shall kings be proclaimed there; all her princes are gone. (13) Her castles shall be overgrown with thorns, her fortresses with thistles and briers.

She shall become an abode for jackals and a haunt for ostriches. (14) Wildcats shall meet

with desert beasts, satyrs shall call to one another; There shall the Lilith repose, and find for herself a place to rest. (15) There the hoot owl shall nest and lay eggs, hatch them out and gather them in her shadow; There shall the kites assemble, none shall be missing its mate. (16) Look in the book of the LORD and read: No one of these shall be lacking, For the mouth of the LORD has ordered it, and His spirit shall gather them there. (17) It is He who casts the lot for them, and with His hands He marks off their shares of her; They shall possess her forever, and dwell there from generation to generation.

Adrammelech Adrammelech /əˈdræ məˌlɛk/ (Biblical Hebrew: ‫אַ ְד ַרמֶּ לֶּך‬, romanized: ʾAḏrammeleḵ; Koinē Greek: Ἀδραμέλεχ Adramélekh) is an ancient Semitic god mentioned briefly by name in the Book of Kings, where he is described as a god of "Sepharvaim". Sepharvaim (a word which is grammatically dual) is commonly, but not certainly, identified with the twin cities of Sippar Yahrurum and Sippar Amnanum on the banks of the Euphrates, north of Babylon.[1][2] The name probably translates to "Magnificent king."

(An unrelated person with the name of Adrammelech is described in Hebrew writings as a son and murderer of Sennacherib, king of Assyria, in 2 Kings 19:37 and Isaiah 37:38. He was known in the Akkadian language as Arda-Mulissu, and was the rebellious son of Sennacherib.[3]) Historical background Biblical account 2 Kings 17:31 reports: "The Sepharvites burned their children in the fire as sacrifices to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim" (NIV). The Sepharvites are given as a people deported by the Assyrians to Samaria. Adrammelech and the god Anammelech (about whom likewise little is known) are again seemingly alluded to in 2 Kings 18:34: "Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena and Ivvah? Have they rescued Samaria from my hand?" (NIV). Isaiah 36:19 has an almost identical passage.

Interpretation According to A. R. Millard, Saul Olyan, and others, Adrammelech likely represents an original *ʾAddîr-meleḵ, "majestic king" or "the majestic one is king".[1][4][5] Cognate ʾAddîr-milk, along with similar Milk-ʾaddîr (with the morphemes inverted) and Baʿal-ʾaddîr ("majestic master" or "majestic Baal"), is recorded in ancient Semitic sources as an epithet of Baal, or a baal.[1][5] Adrammelech is commonly understood as a companion of Anammelech, due to their association in 2 Kings 17, the similarity of their names, and the similarity of their worship through child sacrifice.[1] Before the identification with epigraphic ʾAddîr-milk, various attempts (since generally rejected) were made to interpret the origin of the name Adrammelech.[1][6]

The reconstructed form *Adar-malik (or the variant *Adru-malku) was once almost universally accepted as the original Akkadian form of the name.[7] For example, Eberhard Schrader wrote in 1885: "Adrammelech means 'Adar is prince'. It […] was pronounced in Assyrian Adar-malik (Assyr.-Babylon. Keilinsch., selected proper names no. 33a p. 140). [...]

Both Adar and Anu, Anuv (Oannes?) are very frequently mentioned deities of Assyria. Adar, originally pronounced A-tar, is a word of Akkadian origin and means 'father of decision'. It resembles Nam-tar (literally 'decision, destiny, destination', likewise name of the 'plague-god')."[8] Peter Jensen proposed in the late nineteenth century that ‫( אדרמלך‬ʾAḏrammeleḵ, "Adrammelech") was a manuscript error for ‫*( *אדדמלך‬ʾĂḏaḏmeleḵ, "*Adadmelech"), due to the typographical similarity of ‫( ר‬r) and ‫( ד‬d), which Jensen thought was a variant of unrecorded ‫*( *חֲדַ דמֶּ לֶּך‬Ḥăḏaḏmeleḵ, "King Hadad" or "Hadad is king"), thus identifying Adrammelech with the Canaanite god Hadad.[1][9] Adad is in fact recorded as a variant of Hadad;[10] but Millard writes: "If the Sepharvites were of Aramean or Phoenician origin, it is very unlikely that the name of their god would have lost its initial h, unless the Hebrew authors of Kings copied the information from a cuneiform text in Babylonian, which would not express it."[1] At the turn of the century, William Muss-Arnolt suggested that ʾAḏrammeleḵ could represent his own reconstructed Akkadian *Atra-malik, comparing the form to the names Atra-ḫasis and *(A)tar-ilu, writing, "Atra-malik would probably yield ‫אדרמלך‬."

In the Talmud The Talmud teaches (Sanh. 63b) that Adrammelech was an idol of the Sepharvaim in the shape of an ass. This is to be concluded from his name, which is compounded of ‫" אדר‬to carry" (compare Syriac ‫)אדרי‬, and ‫" מלך‬a king." These heathen worshiped as God the same animal which carried their burdens (Sanh. l.c.; see also Rashi's explanation of this passage which interprets ‫" אדר‬to distinguish," by "carrying"). Still another explanation of the name ascribes to the god the form of a peacock and derives the name from adar ("magnificent") and melek ("king"); Yer. 'Ab. Zarah, iii. 42d.

Baal Baal (/ˈbeɪəl, ˈbɑːəl/),[1][a] properly Baʿal,[b] was a title and honorific meaning "owner", "lord" in the Northwest Semitic languages spoken in the Levant during antiquity. From its use among people, it came to be applied to gods.[6] Scholars previously associated the theonym with solar cults and with a variety of unrelated patron deities, but inscriptions have shown that the name Baʿal was particularly associated with the storm and fertility god Hadad and his local manifestations.[7] The Hebrew Bible includes use of the term in reference to various Levantine deities, often with application towards Hadad, who was decried as a false god. That use was taken over

into Christianity and Islam, sometimes under the opprobrious form Beelzebub in demonology.

Etymology The spelling of the English term "Baal" derives from the Greek Báal (Βάαλ), which appears in the New Testament[8] and Septuagint,[9] and from its Latinized form Baal, which appears in the Vulgate.[9] These forms in turn derive from the vowel-less Northwest Semitic form BʿL (Phoenician & Punic: 𐤁𐤁𐤁).[10] The word's biblical senses as a Phoenician deity and false gods generally were extended during the Protestant Reformation to denote any idols, icons of the saints, or the Catholic Church generally.[11] In such contexts, it follows the anglicized pronunciation and usually omits any mark between its two As.[1] In close transliteration of the Semitic name, the ayin is represented, as Baʿal.

In the Northwest Semitic languages—Ugaritic, Phoenician, Hebrew, Amorite, and Aramaic—the word baʿal signified "owner" and, by extension, "lord",[9] a "master", or "husband".[12][13] Cognates include the Akkadian Bēlu (𐤁),[c] Amharic bal (ባል),[14] and Arabic baʿl (‫) َب ْعل‬. Báʿal (‫ )בַּ עַּ ל‬and baʿl still serve as the words for "husband" in modern Hebrew and Arabic respectively. They also appear in some contexts concerning the ownership of things or possession of traits.

The feminine form is baʿalah (Hebrew: ‫[;בַּ עֲלָ ה‬15] Arabic: ‫) َب ْعلَة‬, meaning "mistress" in the sense of a female owner or lady of the house[15] and still serving as a rare word for "wife".[16] Suggestions in early modern scholarship also included comparison with the Celtic god Belenus.

Belphegor n demonology, Belphegor (or Beelphegor, Hebrew: ‫פעֹור‬-‫ל‬ ְּ ַּ‫ בַּ ע‬baʿal-pə[ġ]ʿōr - Lord of the Gap) is a demon, and one of the seven princes of Hell, who helps people make discoveries.

He seduces people by suggesting to them ingenious inventions that will make them rich.

Bishop and witch-hunter Peter Binsfeld believed that Belphegor tempts by means of laziness.[1] Also, according to Peter Binsfeld's Binsfeld's Classification of Demons, Belphegor is the chief demon of the deadly sin known as Sloth in Christian tradition.[2] History Belphegor originated as Baal-Peor, the Moabite, the father of God to whom the Israelites became attached in Shittim (Numbers 25:3), which was associated with licentiousness and orgies. It was worshipped in the form of a phallus. As a demon, he is described in Kabbalistic writings as the "disputer", an enemy of the sixth Sephiroth "beauty". When summoned, he can grant riches, the power of discovery and ingenious invention. His role as a demon was to sow discord among men and seduce them to evil through the apportionment of wealth.[citation needed] The palindromic prime number 1000000000000066600000000000001 is known as Belphegor's Prime, due to the significance of containing the number 666, on both sides

enclosed by thirteen zeroes and a one. An entire sequence of "palindromic Belphegor numbers" is formed from computing (10^(n+3)+666)*10^(n+1)+1 for different values of n: 16661, 1066601, 100666001, 10006660001, 1000066600001, 100000666000001, 10000006660000001, 1000000066600000001, 100000000666000000001, 10000000006660000000001, 1000000000066600000000001, 100000000000666000000000001, 10000000000006660000000000001, 1000000000000066600000000000001.[3] All of these numbers are palindromic and contain "666", but only the first and last are prime.

According to De Plancy's Dictionnaire Infernal, Belphegor was Hell's ambassador to France.

Consequently, his adversary is St Mary Magdalene, one of the patron saints of France.

Belphegor also figures in John Milton's Paradise Lost and in Victor Hugo's The Toilers of the Sea.[citation needed] Belfagor arcidiavolo by the Italian diplomat Niccolò Machiavelli was first published in 1549 and regales how the demon comes to earth to find a mate. This story became the initial source material for Ottorino Respighi's opera Belfagor which premiered at La Scala in Milan in 1923.

Asmodeus Asmodeus (/ˌæ zməˈdiːəs/; Ancient Greek: Ἀσμοδαῖος, Asmodaios) or Ashmedai (/ˈæ ʃmɪˌ daɪ/; Hebrew: ‫אַּ ְּש ְּמּדאָ י‬, ʾAšməddāy), also Ashema Deva (see below for other variations), is a prince of demons,[1] or in Judeo-Islamic lore the king of the earthly spirits (shedim/jinn),[2][3] mostly known from the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit, in which he is the primary antagonist.[4] In the Binsfeld's classification of demons, Asmodeus represents lust. The demon is also mentioned in some Talmudic legends; for instance, in the story of the construction of the Temple of Solomon.

He was supposed by some Renaissance Christians[who?] to be the King of the Nine Hells.[citation needed] Asmodeus also is referred to as one of the seven princes of Hell. In Binsfeld's classification of demons, each one of these princes represents one of the seven deadly sins (lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride).

It is said in Asmodeus; Or, The Devil on Two Sticks that people who fall to Asmodeus' ways will be sentenced to an eternity in the second level of hell.[5] Etymology The name Asmodai is believed to derive from Avestan language *aēšma-daēva, where aēšma means "wrath", and daēva signifies "demon". While the daēva Aēšma is thus Zoroastrianism's demon of wrath and is also well-attested as such, the compound aēšma-daēva is not attested in scripture. It is nonetheless likely that such a form did exist, and that the Book of Tobit's "Asmodaios" (Ἀσμοδαῖος) and the Talmud's "Ashmedai" (‫ )אשמדאי‬reflect it.[6] In the Zoroastrian and Middle Persian demonology, there did exist the conjuncted form khashm-dev, where the word dev was the same as daeva.[7] The spellings Asmodai,[8][9] Asmodee (also Asmodée),[10][11] Osmodeus,[12][13] and Osmodai[14][15] have also been used. The name is alternatively spelled in the bastardized forms (based on the basic consonants ‫אשמדאי‬,

ʾŠMDʾY) Hashmedai (‫חַׁ ְּש ְּמּדאָׁ י‬, Hašmədʾāy; also Hashmodai, Hasmodai, Khashmodai, Khasmodai),[16][17][18][19] Hammadai (‫חַׁ מַׁ ּדאָׁ י‬, Hammadʾāy; also Khammadai),[20][21] Shamdon (‫שַׁ ְּמּדֹון‬, Šamdōn),[22] and Shidonai (‫שדֹ נאָׁ י‬, ִ Šidonʾāy).[21] Some traditions have subsequently identified Shamdon as the father of Asmodeus.[22] The Jewish Encyclopedia of 1906 rejects the otherwise accepted etymological relation between the Persian "Æ shma-dæ va" and Judaism's "Ashmodai" claiming that the particle "-dæ va" could not have become "-dai" and that Æ shma-dæ va as such—a compound name—never appears in Persian sacred texts. Still, the encyclopedia proposes that the "Asmodeus" from the Apocrypha and the Testament of Solomon are not only related somewhat to Aeshma but have similar behaviour, appearance and roles,[23] to conclude in another article under the entry "Aeshma", in the paragraph "Influence of Persian Beliefs on Judaism",[24] that Persian Zoroastrian beliefs could have heavily influenced Judaism's theology on the long term, bearing in mind that in some texts there are crucial conceptual differences while in others there seems to be a great deal of similarity, proposing a pattern of influence over folk beliefs that would extend further to the mythology itself in general.

However, the Jewish Encyclopedia asserts that 'though Æ shma does not occur in the Avesta in conjunction with dæ va, it is probable that a fuller form, such as Æ shmo-dæ us, has existed, since it is paralleled by the later Pahlavi-form "Khashm-dev".[25] Furthermore it is stated that 'Asmodeus (Ashmedai) embodies an expression of the influence that the Persian religion or Persian popular beliefs have exercised on the Jewish'.[26] In the texts In the Bible The full name "Ashmedai" is not found, but in 2 Kings 17:30, a certain Ashima appears as the false god for whom the Syrian Hamathites made an idol. Not only does this name better resemble that of the Persian daeva Aeshma, but the name (‫ )א ֲִשימָׁ א‬also greatly resembles the name Ashmedai (‫ )אַׁ ְּש ְּמּדאָׁ י‬in Hebrew.

In the Book of Tobit The Asmodeus of the Book of Tobit is hostile to Sarah, Raguel's daughter, (Tobit 6:13); and slays seven successive husbands on their wedding nights, impeding the sexual consummation of the marriages. He is described as 'the worst of demons'. When the young Tobias is about to marry her, Asmodeus proposes the same fate for him, but Tobias is enabled, through the counsels of his attendant angel Raphael, to render him innocuous. By placing a fish's heart and liver on red-hot cinders, Tobias produces a smoky vapour that causes the demon to flee to Egypt, where Raphael binds him (Tobit 8:2-3). According to some translations Asmodeus is strangled.

Perhaps Asmodeus punishes the suitors for their carnal desire, since Tobias prays to be free from such desire and is kept safe. Asmodeus is also described as an evil spirit in general: 'Ασμοδαίος τὸ πονηρὸν δαιμόνιον or τõ δαιμόνιον πονηρόν, and πνεῦμα ἀκάθαρτον (Tobit 3:8; Tobit 3:17; Tobit 6:13; Tobit 8:3).

In the Talmud

The figure of Ashmedai in the Talmud is less malign in character than the Asmodeus of Tobit. In the former, he appears repeatedly in the light of a good-natured and humorous fellow. But besides that, there is one feature in which he parallels Asmodeus, in as much as his desires turn upon Solomon's wives and Bathsheba.

Another Talmudic legend has King Solomon tricking Asmodai into collaborating in the construction of the Temple of Jerusalem[3] (see: The Story of King Solomon and Ashmedai).

Another legend depicts Asmodai throwing King Solomon over 400 leagues away from the capital by putting one wing on the ground and the other stretched skyward. He then changed places for some years with King Solomon. When King Solomon returned, Asmodai fled from his wrath.[27] Similar legends can be found in Islamic folklore. There Asmodeus is called Sakhr (Arabic: ‫ صخر‬the Rock or the Stony One), because in Islamic lore, Solomon banished him into a rock, after he takes his kingdom back from him. There he counts as the king of the jinn.[28] Another passage describes him as marrying Lilith, who became his queen.[29] In the Testament of Solomon In the Testament of Solomon, a 1st–3rd century text, the king invokes Asmodeus to aid in the construction of the Temple. The demon appears and predicts Solomon's kingdom will one day be divided (Testament of Solomon, verse 21–25).[30] When Solomon interrogates Asmodeus further, the king learns that Asmodeus is thwarted by the angel Raphael, as well as by sheatfish found in the rivers of Assyria. He also admits to hating water and birds because both remind him of God. In the Malleus Maleficarum In the Malleus Maleficarum (1486), Asmodeus was considered the demon of lust.[31] Sebastien Michaelis said that his adversary is St. John. Some demonologists of the 16th century assigned a month to a demon and considered November to be the month in which Asmodai's power was strongest. Other demonologists asserted that his zodiacal sign was Aquarius but only between the dates of January 30 and February 8.

He has 72 legions of demons under his command. He is one of the Kings of Hell under Lucifer the emperor. He incites gambling, and is the overseer of all the gambling houses in the court of Hell. Some Catholic theologians compared him with Abaddon. Yet other authors considered Asmodeus a prince of revenge.

In the Dictionnaire Infernal In the Dictionnaire Infernal by Collin de Plancy, Asmodeus is depicted with the breast of a man, a cock leg, serpent tail, three heads (one of a man spitting fire, one of a sheep, and one of a bull), riding a lion with dragon wings and neck, all of these creatures being associated with either lascivity, lust or revenge.[citation needed] The Archbishop of Paris approved his portrait.[32] In the Lesser Key of Solomon Asmodai appears as the king 'Asmoday' in the Ars Goetia, where he is said to have a seal in gold and is listed as number thirty-two according to respective rank.[33]

He "is strong, powerful and appears with three heads; the first is like a bull, the second like a man, and the third like a ram; the tail of a serpent, and from his mouth issue flames of fire."[34] Also, he sits upon an infernal dragon, holds a lance with a banner and, amongst the Legions of Amaymon, Asmoday governs seventy-two legions of inferior spirits.[33] In The Magus Asmodeus is referred to in Book Two, Chapter Eight of The Magus (1801) by Francis Barrett.[35] Astaroth This article is about the goetic demon. Astaroth (also Ashtaroth, Astarot and Asteroth), in demonology, is the Great Duke of Hell in the first hierarchy with Beelzebub and Lucifer; he is part of the evil trinity. He is a male figure most likely named after the Mesopotamian goddess Ishtar. Background The name Astaroth was ultimately derived from that of 2nd millennium BCE Phoenician goddess Astarte,[1] an equivalent of the Babylonian Ishtar, and the earlier Sumerian Inanna. She is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible in the forms Ashtoreth (singular) and Ashtaroth (plural, in reference to multiple statues of her). This latter form was directly transliterated in the early Greek and Latin versions of the Bible, where it was less apparent that it had been a plural feminine in Hebrew.

The pseudepigraphal work Testament of Solomon, attributed to King Solomon of Israel, but thought to date to the early centuries CE, mentions "Asteraoth" (in Greek) as an angel, who is opposed to the demon of power (cf. 1 Kings 11:4–5).

Appearances in literature The name "Astaroth" as a male demon is first known from The Book of Abramelin, purportedly written in Hebrew c. 1458, and recurred in most occult grimoires of the following centuries. Astaroth also features as an archdemon associated with the qliphoth (adverse forces) according to later Kabbalistic texts.

Dutch demonologist Johann Weyer also described Astaroth in his Pseudomonarchia Daemonum (1577) thus: "Astaroth is a great and a strong duke, coming forth in the shape of a foul angel, sitting upon an infernal dragon, and carrying on his right hand a viper", who also claimed to rule 40 legions! Also, he had to be approached by the conjurer with a magical ring on account of his stinking breath.[2] He is similarly referred to in the 17th-century work The Lesser Key of Solomon.

According to some demonologists of the 16th century, August is the month during which this demon's attacks against man are stronger. According to Sebastien Michaelis, he is a demon of the First Hierarchy, who seduces by means of laziness, self-doubt, and rationalized philosophies. His adversary is St. Bartholomew, who can protect against him

for he has resisted Astaroth's temptations. To others, he teaches mathematical sciences and handicrafts, can make men invisible and lead them to hidden treasures, and answers every question formulated to him. He was also said to give to mortal beings the power over serpents.

According to Francis Barrett (c. 1801), Astaroth is the prince of accusers and inquisitors. In art, in the Dictionnaire Infernal (1818), Astaroth is depicted as a nude man with feathered wings, wearing a crown, holding a serpent in one hand, and riding a beast with dragon-like wings and a serpent-like tail.

A box bearing his name is present during the trial scene of John Fowles's The Magus.

Appearances in film He is named in the 1976 Hammer horror film To the Devil a Daughter.

In the 1920 silent horror film The Golem: How He Came into the World, the Jewish Rabbi Loew and his assistant summon Astaroth to animate the Golem resulting in deadly and destructive results.

Astaroth symbolism is also prevalent in the 2018 movie "Antrum: The Deadliest Film Ever Made" and a symbol of Astaroth appears in the movie over 170 times.

Beelzebub Beelzebub or Beelzebul (/biːˈɛlzɪbʌb/ bee-EL-zi-bub or /ˈbiːlzɪbʌ b/ BEEL-zi-bub; Hebrew: ‫ בַ עַל זְבּוב‬Baʿal Zəvûv) is a name derived from a Philistine god, formerly worshipped in Ekron, and later adopted by some Abrahamic religions as a major demon. The name Beelzebub is associated with the Canaanite god Baal.

In theological sources, predominantly Christian, Beelzebub is sometimes another name for the Devil, similar to Satan. He is known in demonology as one of the seven princes of Hell.

The Dictionnaire Infernal describes Beelzebub as a being capable of flying, known as the "Lord of the Flyers", or the "Lord of the Flies".

Hebrew Bible The source for the name Beelzebub is in the Books of Kings (2 Kings 1:2–3, 6, 16), written Ba'al Zəbûb, (pronounced "Ba'al Zvuv"), referring to a deity worshipped by the Philistines. The title Baal, meaning "Lord" in Ugaritic, was used in conjunction with a descriptive name of a specific god. Opinions differ on what the name means.

In one understanding, Ba'al Zəbûb is translated literally as "lord of the flies".[1][2][3][4] It was long ago suggested that there was a relationship between the Philistine god, and cults of flies—referring to a view of them as pests, feasting on excrement—appearing in the Hellenic world, such as Zeus Apomyios or Myiagros.[5] This is confirmed by the Ugaritic text which depicts Baal expelling flies, which are the cause of a person's sickness.[5] According to Francesco Saracino (1982) this series of elements may be inconclusive as evidence, but the fact that in relationship to Baal Zebub, the two

constituent terms are here linked, joined by a function (ndy) that is typical of some divinities attested in the Mediterranean Sea world, is a strong argument in favor of the authenticity of the name of the god of Ekron, and of his possible therapeutic activities, which are implicit in 2 Kings 1:2–3, etc.[6] Alternatively, the deity's actual name could have been Ba'al Zəbûl, "lord of the (heavenly) dwelling", and Ba'al Zebub could have been a derogatory pun used by the Israelites.[7][8][9] In regard to the god of Ekron, the belief that zebub may be the original affix to Baal and that it is a substitute for an original zbl which, after the discoveries of Ras Shamra, has been connected with the title of "prince", frequently attributed to Baal in mythological texts. Ba'al Zebub was used in the Hebrew language as a pun with Ba'al Zebul, where Zebul meant "of the manor", and in a derogatory manner Ba'al Zebub was used to offend the enemies of the Israelites.[5] The Septuagint renders the name as Baalzebub (βααλζεβούβ) and as Baal muian (βααλ μυιαν, "Baal of flies"). However, Symmachus may have reflected a tradition of its offensive ancient name, when he rendered it as Beelzeboul.[10] Testament of Solomon In the Testament of Solomon, Beelzebul (not Beelzebub) appears as prince of the demons and says (6.2) that he was formerly a leading heavenly angel who was (6.7) associated with the star Hesperus (which is the normal Greek name for the planet Venus (Aphrodite, Αφροδíτη) as evening star). Seemingly, Beelzebul here is synonymous with Lucifer.

Beelzebul claims to cause destruction through tyrants, to cause demons to be worshipped among men, to excite priests to lust, to cause jealousies in cities and murders, and to bring on war. The Testament of Solomon is an Old Testament pseudepigraphical work, purportedly written by King Solomon, in which Solomon mostly describes particular demons whom he enslaved to help build Solomon's Temple, with substantial Christian interpolations.[11] Christian Bible In Mark 3:22, the scribes accuse Jesus of driving out demons by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons, the name also appearing in the expanded version in Matthew 12:24,27 and Luke 11:15, 18–19. The name also occurs in Matthew 10:25.

Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you."

—Matthew 12:25-28 It is unknown whether Symmachus the Ebionite was correct in identifying these names, because we otherwise know nothing about either of them. Zeboul might derive from a slurred pronunciation of zebûb; from zebel, a word used to mean "dung" in the

Targums; or from Hebrew zebûl found in 1 Kings 8:13 in the phrase bêt-zebûl, "lofty house".

In any case, the form Beelzebub was substituted for Beelzeboul in the Syriac translation and Latin Vulgate translation of the gospels, and this substitution was repeated in the King James Version, the resulting form Beelzeboul being mostly unknown to Western European and descendant cultures until some more recent translations restored it.

Beelzebub is also identified in the New Testament as the Devil, "the prince of demons".[12][13] Biblical scholar Thomas Kelly Cheyne suggested that it might be a derogatory corruption of Ba'al Zəbûl, "Lord of the High Place" (i.e., Heaven) or "High Lord".[14] In Arabic translations, the name is rendered as Baʿl-zabūl (‫)بعلزبول‬.[15][16] Gnostic tradition Texts of the Gospel of Nicodemus vary; they use Beelzebul or Beelzebub. The name is used by Hades as a secondary name for the Devil, but it may vary with each translation of the text; other versions separate Beelzebub from the Devil.

Christian tradition Beelzebub is commonly described as placed high in Hell's hierarchy. According to the stories of the 16th-century occultist Johann Weyer, Beelzebub led a successful revolt against the Devil,[17] is the chief lieutenant of Lucifer, the Emperor of Hell, and presides over the Order of the Fly. Similarly, the 17th-century exorcist Sébastien Michaëlis, in his Admirable History (1612), placed Beelzebub among the three most prominent fallen angels, the other two being Lucifer and Leviathan. John Milton, in his epic poem Paradise Lost, first published in 1667, identified an unholy trinity consisting of Beelzebub, Lucifer, and Astaroth, with Beelzebub as the second-ranking of the many fallen angels. Milton wrote of Beelzebub "than whom, Satan except, none higher sat." Beelzebub is also a character in John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress, first published in 1678.

Sebastien Michaelis associated Beelzebub with the deadly sin of pride. However, according to Peter Binsfeld, Beelzebub was the demon of gluttony, one of the other seven deadly sins, whereas Francis Barrett asserted that Beelzebub was the prince of false gods.

Within religious circles, the accusation of demon possession has been used as both an insult and an attempt to categorize unexplained behavior. Not only had the Pharisees disparagingly accused Jesus of using Beelzebub's demonic powers to heal people (Luke 11:14–26), but others have been labeled possessed for acts of an extreme nature. Down through history, Beelzebub has been held responsible for many cases of demonic possession, such as that of Sister Madeleine de Demandolx de la Palud, Aix-en-Provence in 1611, whose relationship with Father Jean-Baptiste Gaufridi led not only to countless traumatic events at the hands of her inquisitors, but also to

the torture and execution of that "bewitcher of young nuns", Gaufridi himself.

Beelzebub was also imagined to be sowing his influence in Salem, Massachusetts; his name came up repeatedly during the Salem witch trials, the last large-scale public expression of witch hysteria in either North America or Europe, and afterwards, the Rev. Cotton Mather wrote a pamphlet titled Of Beelzebub and his Plot.[18] Judaism The name Baʿal Zəvûv (Hebrew: ‫ )בעל זבוב‬is found in Melachim II 1:2-3, 6, 16, where King Ahaziah of Israel, after seriously injuring himself in a fall, sends messengers to inquire of Ba'al Zebûb, the god of the Philistine city of Ekron, to learn if he will recover.

Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and he became ill; and he sent messengers and said to them, "Go inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this illness."

— 2Kings 1:2 Elijah the Prophet then condemns Ahaziah to die by God's words because Ahaziah sought counsel from Ba'al Zebûb rather than from God. But an angel of the Lord spoke to Elijah the Tishbite [saying], "Arise, go up toward the king of Samaria's messengers, and speak to them, [saying], 'Is it because there is no God in Israel, that you go to inquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron? Therefore, so has the Lord said, "From the bed upon which you have ascended you will not descend, for you shall die." ' " And Elijah went.

— 2Kings 1:3-4 Rabbinical literature commentary equates Baal Zebub of Ekron as lord of the "fly".[19][20] The word Ba'al Zebûb in rabbinical texts is a mockery of the Ba'al religion, which ancient Hebrews considered to be idol worship.[21] Jewish scholars have interpreted the title of "Lord of the Flies" as the Hebrew way of calling Ba'al a pile of dung and comparing Ba'al followers to flies.[22][20]

而 较 少 人 知 的 是 ， Kabbalah 其 实 也 有 阴 影 一 般 的 存 在 ， 其 名 为 Qliphoth （Qliphoth/Qlippoth/Qelippot 或 Kelipot）， 和 Kabbalah 一样 10 个质点和 22 条路径组成， 只是其形态与 Kabbalah 相比完全颠倒与逆反而已。

逆卡巴拉是一个与正卡巴拉位置上下颠倒的图腾，上面一样有编号 1i 到 10i 的恶魔 i 指的是 虚数，与实数是处于相反的概念,意味着恶魔跟天使彼此是互斥的 古代哲学家、宗教家认为, 这整个宇宙所有能量的动向全靠正逆卡巴拉来维持平衡。

整个宇宙的能量是固定的,不会凭空增加或减少,当某样东西的能量提升了 代表与他相对的 物体正在减少能量,后来这个概念也延伸到了科学上 像是能量守恒定律以及质量守恒定律, 中国文化上所谓的太极图腾 其含意就有点类似卡巴拉,只是太极将正逆卡巴拉全部涵盖在 一个图腾之中。

若说 Kabbalah 乃是通往神的途径，充满的是正能量，那么 Qliphoth 则可以说是通往炼狱 的途径，通过灵修便能参悟各种负能量。在希伯来文里，Qliphoth 的单词 Qliphah，直译为 “皮”、“壳”之类的意思。在 Qliphoth 的 10 个质点里，与 Kabbalah 一样各有含义，同时每个 质点也与 1 个恶魔相对应。 （各有涵义但不是完全相对，只是目的相反的过程。 ）

以下是 10 个源质与其对应的恶魔： I Bacikal 无神论，Satan 撒旦 II Iweleth 愚钝 ，Beelzebub 别西卜 III Sheriruth 拒绝，Lucifuge 路西弗吉 IV Adyeshach 无感动，Astaroth 阿斯特罗斯 V Akzeriyyuth 残酷，Asmodeus 阿斯蒙蒂斯 VI Kaitul 丑悪，Belphegor 贝尔菲戈尔 VII Shakah 淫欲，Baal 巴力 VIII Chemdah 贪欲， Adrammelech 亚得米勒 IX Aiyatsbus 不安定，Lilith 莉莉丝 X Qimranut 物质主义，Nehema 那海马

由于犹太教的信徒们不愿意去接触这反叛的思想，导致和倒生树一同出现在古典里的邪恶之 树一直没人去整理和完善，目前完善的部分是在 1977 年，而且这个版本也不一定就是最正 确的。这个版本大概出自日本人秋端勉的《实践魔术讲座》 ，不存在于英语环境，应该是日 本人直接将希伯来单词转译而来。

这个版本广泛存在于很多日本的游戏或者动漫中。也是更广为人知的版本。

I Thamiel 神的二元性，Satan 撒旦 II Chaigidel 对神力的质疑，Beelzebub 别西卜 III Sathariel 神的隐藏，Lucifuge 罗弗寇 IV Gamchicoth 吞噬者，Astaroth 阿斯特罗斯 V Golachab 燃烧的身体，Asmodeus 阿斯蒙蒂斯 VI Thagirion 神的叛乱，Belphegor 贝尔菲戈尔 VII Harab Serapel 污秽的物质，Ba'al 巴尔 VIII Samael 神的遗弃， Adramelech 亚得米勒 IX Gamaliel 神的污染，Lilith 莉莉丝 X Nehemoth 低语者，Nehema 那海玛

这个版本就比较古老得多，有理有据得多，存在于赫尔墨斯主义等非犹太神秘主义中。《所 罗门的大钥匙》等书有记载。把质点和恶魔对应，最早也是出自这里。 最终由 Aleister Crowley、Israel Regardie、Bill Heidrick 等近现代魔法师完善，成为我们看 到的版本。

以下是对于各源质的解说，当中包含与 Kabbalah 中相对应的质点的对比： 1）Thamiel 神的二元性

“Thamiel 代表的是二元性，而 Kether 代表统一。所以 Thamiel 乃是指存在于完美中的统一 的分裂。作为恶魔系序下的名称，Thamiel 乃是被唤作“神的叛乱”的前身。这也标示着“上帝 的完美”。这些天使们试图通过增加一个 Aleph 在他们的名字里以变得更加强大。然后他们 成为了“神的二元性”，序位于小恶魔。当他们堕落至最低谷时，他们成为了“神的污染”。 Thamiel 的外在形式被称为 Cathariel，“破裂的”或“神的恐惧光芒”。”

对应：Satan 撒旦

旧约：诱惑天使，还是死亡天使、力量天使、审判天使。犹太传统中，撒旦还被称作萨麦尔 （Samael） ，是“神之恶意”的意思。撒旦的恶意，并不是用来违抗神的，反之恰恰是神的旨 意。 新约：七头十角的大红龙，被指为末日时候的最大敌人.整部新约也多次出现撒旦对人（以 及耶稣）进行诱惑的情节，这些都说明基督教与犹太教对待“撒旦”的态度发生了转变。自此， 撒旦在基督教里便成了与神作对并危害人类的大魔王，撒旦一词也成了恶魔的代名词。

犹太教到基督教的转变导致了撒旦从天使“堕落”成了恶魔。基督教的撒旦的形象，和犹太教 的撒旦已完全不一样，和萨麦尔就更不一样。基督教给撒旦又取了一个好听的欧洲化的名字 ——路西法。路西法是这个词是拉丁语圣经译本里一句描写金星在早晨坠落的经文里断章取 义出来的，以讹传讹之后便有了晨星天使路西法堕落的传说。这个传说和犹太教天使撒旦变 成基督教魔王撒旦同步率十分高。所以在基督教范围内，撒旦的形象和路西法的形象是基本 一致的。 由于基督教将撒旦视为恶魔，撒旦便具有了异教神的外貌特征，除了龙的形象之外，撒旦多 被描写成长蝙蝠翅膀和山羊角的恶魔。

2）Chaigidel 对神力的质疑

“这些都是强大力量，正如 Chokmah，最初提出给创造生命能量的 Binah 的过程带来混乱。 Chaigidel 的外在形式被称为 Ghogiel，“那些朝向无神之地的”。”

对应：Beelzebub 别西卜

原为腓尼基人的神巴力西卜（Baal-zebul），其义为“天上的主人”，“Zebub”意思是“王子”。为 腓尼基人的太阳神，在之后却被迦南人祭祀成“粪丘之王”。犹太人的文献中，别西卜这个名 字已经作为“苍蝇王”的意思使用了，它被视为是引起疾病的恶魔。也是新约圣经中耶稣明确 提到的鬼王。也是各文献中用来称呼魔王的名号之一。中世纪被教宗 Peter Binsfeld 指为七 宗罪之一的“暴食”（Gluttony）所代表的恶魔。堕天使传说中说他原是炽天使中圣歌队的员， 在创世纪战争中失败逃走。堕落后成了一只不断吃东西的苍蝇，愈吃愈是肥大，因为身体太 重陷入地狱最深处。 最广为人熟知的形象就是苍蝇之王。 广义上说，"Baal"指迦南宗教中男保护神的头衔，后演变为对"主神"的尊称，流传到不同地 域会有不同的指定对象，比如 Baalzebub，Belphegor。狭义上的巴力 Baal，指巴力哈大德 BaalHadad，迦南宗教曾经的主神，被犹太教丑化为所罗门七十二魔神之首。 犹太教的恶魔，大多是以其他原始异教的偶像为原型的，这是由于犹太教是排他的一神宗教， 禁止崇拜偶像，将原始异教的偶像一律带上恶魔的帽子。原始异教并非本来就是崇拜恶魔的。

3）Sathariel 神的隐藏

“即使伟大如 Binah 揭示了谁赋予了被创造之地一个绝对的结构，在其对面，Sathariel，隐 藏了完美的真正性质。Sathariel 的外在形式被称为 Sheireil，“神的微小之处”。”

对应：Lucifuge 路西弗吉

恶魔学中的一个恶魔，大概出自中世纪魔导书《Grand Grimoire》，全名路西弗吉·罗弗寇 （Lucifuge Rofocale） 。 Lucifer 的意思是“光之使者”，而 Lucifuge 却相反，来自于拉丁语"光”（lux）, 和“逃避”（fugio） ， “避光者”的意思。被描述为路西法的臣子，掌管地狱事务。

4）Gamchicoth 吞噬者

“Chesed 是思想上与物质上两者给与低级存在的奖励来源。Gamchicoth 是“吞噬者”的序列， 寻求浪费被创造者的物质和思想。其外在形式是 Azariel，“神的约束”。”

对应：Astaroth 阿斯特罗斯

一个恶魔学中的恶魔，来源于腓尼基人的女神阿施塔特（Astarte）以及更早的巴比伦人的 女神伊什妲尔（Ishtar） 。 阿施塔特是巴力神的妹妹和妻子，与巴力分别为女人和男人的守护神。是腓尼基人的丰饶之 神、生殖之神，也是月神、破坏之神、阴间之神。《圣经》曾描写这位头带三日月冠，以牧 牛头为象征的丰饶天后，先知耶利米称他为“上天之后”。 阿施塔特有战神的形象，神话中提及他是位嗜血的女神，此时已经有恶魔的形貌了。这个形 象在传入埃及后成为狮头女战神 Astreth，可能融合了另一名和伊什妲尔名字相近的男战神 Ashtar，人称“令人恐惧者”，也是个狮头神。不过，既然阿施塔特是司掌丰饶、生殖的异教 神，与巴力神相呼应，具有月亮、破坏、死亡等阴性涵义，就难免被犹太教丑化为恶魔的形 象。 中世纪魔法书多有对阿斯特罗斯的描述， 《所罗门之钥》将其列为排第 29 位的魔神，嘴角濡 血，全身黑色并散出恶臭的毒气，右手牵着一支地狱之龙。

5）Golachab 燃烧的身体

“Geburah 阐明要以力量来统治。组成 Golab 的序列是那些焚烧以破坏者---即使是对他们自 己。其外在形式是 Usiel，“神之废墟”。”

对应：Asmodeus 阿斯蒙蒂斯

来源于所罗亚斯德教恶神阿瑞曼(Ahriman)门下六大弟子之一的 AeshmaDeva，激怒或是欲 望的魔神的始祖。 阿斯蒙蒂斯是七宗罪中代表淫欲（Lust）的魔王。形象是乘着地狱之龙拉的战车，有着羊头 和牛头。据说就是他扭曲了人类正常的情欲观念。而被阿斯蒙蒂斯诱惑而犯罪的人们将会被 永远关在第二层地狱中。在反生命树中作为第五源质“燃烧的身体（Golachab）”的对应恶魔。 在次经《托比传》 （The book of Tobia）中，他是缠身于人类少女莎拉的色鬼，不能容忍莎 拉的丈夫。因此莎拉的新婚丈夫突然暴毙，她的第二个，第三个，直到第七个丈夫都因此死 亡。村庄里的人都认为她恶魔附体，她也在绝望中自杀。 在犹太经典《塔木德》中，阿斯蒙蒂斯更像一个爱恶作剧的精灵。 在伪典《以诺书》中，阿斯蒙蒂斯是堕落而与人类女子媾和生下拿菲利人的看守天使之一。

6）Thagirion 神的叛乱

“Tiphereth 是个非常美丽和令人欣喜的地方。Thagirion 为其建造了丑陋与呻吟。Thagirion 外在形式称呼为 Zomiel，“神之反叛”。”

对应：Belphegor 贝尔菲戈尔

原为亚述古国的莫布山神 Baal-Peor。 贝尔菲戈尔帮助人们创造新发现，通过建议人们创造可以致富的发明来引诱人。 贝尔菲戈尔是七宗罪中代表懒惰（Sloth）的魔王，常与贝利亚（Belial）混同。

7）Harab Serapel 污秽的物质

“Netzach 是自然之爱的开放性。Harab Serapel 是连自己都抗拒的死亡寒鸦。其外在形式是 Theumiel，“神的污染物质”。”

对应：Baal 巴力

原是迦南宗教中对男性的城市守护神的尊称。广义上，Baal 并不指一个具体的神，流传到 不同地域有不同指定对象，如 Baal-Peor、Baal-Zebub、Baal-Adramelech 等。 狭义上，Baal 指腓尼基人的主神巴力哈大德（Baal-Hadad） 。Hadad 是腓尼基人的风暴神， 雨神，丰收神。源于两河流域阿卡德人的风暴神 Adad。哈大德作为神的真名只能由祭司们 提及，信徒只能称之为巴力。他头戴两支角的冠冕，手持巨槌，脚下踏着雷电。他曾打败过 邪恶的海神雅姆，并在女战神阿娜特的协助下年复一年地与死神莫特相搏，导致四季的更替 和万物的枯荣。 希伯来人早期信仰中，上帝 YHWH 原本也是风暴神和丰收神，这就使得 YHWH 的信仰与 巴力的信仰产生直接冲突。犹太教发展为排他的一神教后，这种冲突愈显尖锐。 因此，巴力被犹太教丑化为恶魔、异教偶像的典型，是 YHWH 的最大敌人。《圣经•旧约• 列王纪上》中有犹太先知以利亚战胜 850 名巴力的假先知的故事。 《所罗门之钥》中，巴力被列为 72 魔神之首。

8）Samael 神的遗弃

“Hod 是个绝对意志的复杂运作。Samael 代表着堕落与失败的创造的贫瘠荒凉。其外在形式 是 Theuniel，“神的污秽哀嚎”。”

对应：Adramelech 亚得米勒

一个异教的太阳神，形象是人形的孔雀。与著名的偶像摩洛（Moloch）有关。也被称作 BaalAdramelech。在反生命树中作为第八源质“神的遗弃（Samael）”的对应恶魔。 《圣经·旧约·列王记下》提到，该偶像的崇拜中心是一个叫做西瓦法音（Sepharvaim）的小 镇。 IIKings 17:31“西法瓦音人用火焚烧儿女、献给西法瓦音的神亚得米勒、和亚拿米勒。 ”

9）Gamaliel 神的污染

“Yesod 是个变成 Malkuth 的最终物质的地方。Gamaliel 是产生卑劣结果的 Misshapen 与污 染画面。其外在形式是 Ogiel 的序位，“那些回避神的”。”

对应：Lilith 莉莉丝

一位犹太传说中的人物,最早可能出自苏美尔神话。 苏美尔语中词根“Lyl”代表夜晚、风暴等含义，在苏美尔神话中，Lilu、Lilitu 等是代表夜晚 或风暴的女神或恶魔。 这些传说也流传至犹太人中。莉莉丝（Lilith）一词便源于希伯来语的夜晚“Lailah”。 圣经中该词只出现过一次，那就是<旧约·以赛亚书》34:14： 旷野的走兽要和豺狼相遇；野 山羊要与伴偶对叫。夜间的怪物必在那里栖身，自找安歇之处。 “夜间的怪物”原文是 ‫לילית‬， Lilith.从上下文列举了一堆动物看来，Lilith 此处应该也是列举的动物之一。 犹太教传统中，莉莉丝是亚当的第一个妻子，世界上第一个女人。 拉比文学《便西拉的字母》记载，莉莉斯不同意男上女下的传教士体位，因为他们都是从土 里造出来的、是平等的。她嘲笑亚当的粗暴和自大，辱骂他，并且说出了上帝隐秘的名字而 离开了伊甸园，来到红海。 上帝派遣天使去把莉莉斯带回来，上帝对天使说，“如果她愿意回来最好，否则，以后每天 就会有她的 100 个子孙死掉。”天使告别了神去追莉莉丝。他们在红海中央找到了她。他们 将神的话告诉她，但是她还是不愿回来。莉莉丝无视神权威的震怒态度,被神处罚。另一方 面亚当向神诉苦，神决定放弃莉莉丝、另造夏娃。于是从亚当的肋骨创造出夏娃代替她。 莉莉丝和野兽、魔鬼们性交。莉莉丝在红海以每日 100 个的速度产下恶魔之子。同时她也不 断杀死亚当的后代婴儿。痛苦的亚当向神祷告，上帝派遣三位天使 Snwy、Snsnwy、Smnglf 前往红海，以每天 100 个的速度屠杀莉莉丝的后代。莉莉丝只得与天使立约：天使不再伤害 莉莉丝的后代，而莉莉丝在亚当的后代与上帝立约之前，也不再杀死婴儿。 根据卡巴拉神秘主义以及伪典《希腊语巴录启示录》记载，莉莉丝是死亡天使萨麦尔的妻子。 莉莉丝后世传说和文学创作多次演绎。 莉莉斯和恶魔的女儿们称为 Lilin，中世纪的人们认为 Lilin 是好色的女妖，在晚上出现男性 的梦中引诱他们性交，吸取他们的生命力。基督教则将 Lilin 称为“地狱的娼妇”，认为莉莉 斯和她的女儿是禁欲主义的大敌。 莉莉斯由于还记恨上帝杀死她的孩子，因此她常在夜晚杀害人间的小孩，后来还带着 Lilin 一同杀害小孩。为此，犹太人在婴儿的摇篮外围用白色涂料画上几圈圆圈以作保护，也为婴 儿挂上护身符，上面写有上帝派遣追回莉莉斯的三位天使名字。 在狩猎魔女盛行的年代，由于她在基督教中堕落女妖的形像，女巫们当作莉莉斯为保护神。

人们认为她发明了黑魔法，她也是世界上第一个魔法师，因此在众多咒语和魔法纹章中出现。 她还被认为是吸血鬼的始祖之一。

10）Nehemoth 低语者

“这些都该为可以地方发出的可怕声音负责。他们诱发心灵中的奇怪欲望。”Malkuth 也与此 对应。

对应：Nehema 拿玛

希伯来语“欢喜”的意思，是犹太教神秘学典籍《佐哈尔（Zohar）》中的恶魔。 是莉莉丝的同僚，曾向地上的孩子们传播癫痫病。该隐杀死亚伯之后，夏娃离开了亚当，她 与莉莉斯一道与亚当生下了很多恶魔之子，成为地上各种人类传染病的根源。

科普一下巴力（其意为天之主，在当时完全可以与大神、神王的意思同等）， （神之雷槌）在 迦南神话中，大神伊勒有三子，巴力，亚姆与莫特，厄勒所宠爱的两个儿子大海王子雅姆与 死神莫特。雅姆他既是大海的本体、诸水的主宰，又是七首的水怪龙蛇。在残缺的乌加里特 文献中，雅姆首先以掌握权力者的面貌向诸神索取被诸神保护的巴力，面对在神宴中出现的 雅姆使者，诸神垂头丧气、卑躬屈膝，巴力却站出来，显示英勇气概，使得诸神重新振作。 使者进入宴会后，并未依照礼节对诸神中地位最高的厄勒行礼，厄勒却懦弱的答应让巴力永 远做雅姆的奴隶。巴力怒不可遏，意图杀死使者，却被安娜特与阿施塔特劝阻。在接下来的 斗争中，匠神科夏尔为巴力分别打造了一对名为“追逼者”与“打击者”的魔棒。巴力首先掷出 “追逼者”，打中雅姆的背脊；接下来打击者也飞离巴力之手，它击中了雅姆的头颅，从而将 海之王子打落王座，将七首魔怪击败，使得巴力获得了王权。但是巴力没有配得上神王身份 的宫殿，就无法使得父神厄勒承认他的加冕，由于安娜特的坚持，厄勒同意让工匠之神为巴 力建造房屋；但是想要建造房子也得征求厄勒之妻亚舍拉的同意，因为她的很多子嗣也拥有 王位继承权。巴力、安娜特兄妹与亚舍拉之间的关系疏离到了冰点，但是当巴力带着礼物去 造访她后却争取到她的同意，她变得和安娜特一样支持为巴力建造房子。

征得同意以后，工匠之神拜访巴力以确认房屋建造的事宜，在巴力的命令下他用黎巴嫩最好 的雪松、金银以青金石来建造房屋。这些材料在烧制七天后变成砖块。巴力通过邀请诸神参 加宴会来庆祝宫殿的落成。巴力本来拒绝让工匠之神在自己的宫殿建造窗户，但是在就任神 王的盛宴以及组建自己的军队后后，巴力膨胀了，命令工匠之神“在房屋中打开一扇窗户”。 巴力宣告自己作为暴风神的身份以及作为神王的统治权，且特地拒绝向死神莫特缴纳贡品。 巴力派出两名信使前往地下世界死神莫特的领地。并吩咐道你们现在要下到那由莫特统治的 凄凉荒芜之地区，在接近他时务必要小心，不让他有机会把你们像羔羊一样咬住。告诉他， 我已经用金银建好了宫殿，我可以邀请莫特来宫殿吃喝，葡萄美酒和面包管够。但莫特必须 向我臣服，因为我掌握着统治暴风雨和繁殖的权利。莫特感到深受冒犯，因为他不吃那些食 物，于是他送回这样的回复：“我的胃口像沙漠里饥肠辘辘的狮子一样大，吞掉人类的血肉 永不够！”莫特还威胁要让天界崩溃，把巴力撕成一块块吃掉。巴力被使者的汇报给吓到了， 在他向死神交战前，他与一只“牝牛”交合；它可能是一位牛形的女神，就像伊勒被称为“牡 牛”一样。巴力在他神侍的陪伴下，带着云、风、雷霆和雨水降落到冥界。两位神祇之间发 生激烈的交战，掌管暴风雨的巴力哈达德不幸落在下风，这个男人懦弱地哀求着"神圣的莫 特，我永远是你的奴隶，永远忠于你!"被死神莫特一口吞下肚子，连他的造雨本领和助手： 云雨雷电，还有他的女儿“雾”和“露”，也被莫特一起吞下肚了。当巴力的死讯传到伊勒那里， 他开始了一种典型的闪米特式哀悼。从高高在上的宝座摔倒在地，一面捶打着自己的胸膛， 在肉体上犁出了丘垄，一面换上麻布衣服，剃掉胡须，往头上撒灰尘，还哭叫着：“巴力死 了！为他哭泣吧，巴力的仆从们！我也应该下到地下世界才好啊！” 安娜特也开始为她的哥 哥哀悼，用指甲在自己的脸颊与胸上犁出一道道伤痕，并请求太阳女神沙帕什第二天夜里把 自己带到地下世界去。沙帕什用耀眼的光亮找到了巴力的尸体，把它放到亚娜特的肩上。她 和太阳女神沙帕什一起掩埋了巴力的尸首，并在葬礼上献祭。

为了填补巴力之死所造成的王位空悬，必须有人继承王位；伊勒与亚舍拉决定让威严的阿特 塔尔继承巴力的王座，可当阿特塔尔登上撒分山上巴力的王座，却发现自己远远不及巴力的 伟大，不能如巴力一般上顶天宇，下踏大地，于是便放弃了王位，成为了大地之主。接下来 的场景是安娜特与死神莫特的相逢。她来到莫特的领地，一把抓住他的外套，尖叫道：“把 我的哥哥还给我！”但是黑色君主回答道：“安娜特，你在向我要求些什么呀？不错，我到处 在群山之间漫游，我在田野之间闲逛，然后我来到巴力美丽的领地，我的大嘴像吃掉羊羔一 样把巴力吞下，我的牙床把巴力像幼崽一样碾碎了。事情就是这样。”以及这迅速造成的后 果：“由于伊勒之子死神的力量，天空开始颤抖。” 由于风暴神下降到冥界，致命的干旱与 贫瘠降临到大地上，于是她抓住莫特，用种种酷刑将莫特分尸，并将尸粉洒在地上，她捉住 莫特，以剑将他割裂，以簸箕将他扬散，以火将他炙烤，以磨盘将他磨成齑粉，并洒布于田 野。随着雨季将至，伊勒做了个梦，预见密集的云下着油，干旱的水渠流淌着蜜，这些都是 丰收的象征。他醒来后高兴的叫到：“现在我可以安心了。巴力还活着！”他对安娜特说：“去 找太阳女神沙帕什吧，去犁过的丘垄上找嫩芽吧。你能看到巴力吗？”太阳女神夏帕什找到 巴力时，巴力正在与莫特搏斗。巴力将莫特打败，赶下王座七年，七年后莫特与巴力再次生 死相搏。他们滚成一团，犹如河马一般，莫特力大无穷，巴力同他势均力敌。他们死死相抵， 犹如牡牛一般，莫特力大无穷，巴力同他势均力敌。他们相互死死咬住，犹如蛇一般，莫特 力大无穷，巴力同他势均力敌。他们相互猛踢，犹如牡马一般，莫特精疲力竭，巴力同样精 疲力竭。”直到太阳女神对莫特喝道：“你怎么敢和伟大的巴力挑战？厄勒肯定会把你赶下王 座，打断你的权杖。”这时莫特害怕了，便悄悄地溜走，留下巴力在他的王座上。除莫特与 雅姆之外，巴力还降服过许多魔怪。如洛坦和被耶和华杀死的利维坦，安娜特是巴力最重要

的姐妹兼爱人，作为战斗的女神，安娜特不仅以勇猛无敌的姿态，将诸多龙蛇、魔怪、邪神、 巴力的反对者一一击败，为巴力的王权开辟道路，她也是肆无忌惮收割生命的血腥女神。

在她挥洒神威的战场上，无可计数的敌人首级与手臂在空中飞舞，衬托着常胜女神不可一世 的强大；她漫步在大地之上，鲜血漫过她的膝盖，触及她的颈部。她在血海中放声大笑、兴 奋异常，用各式武器屠戮着敌人，直到将敌人斩尽杀绝，才在战士与英雄的血中洗净手指， 取来巴力的雨露，赐予大地丰饶。这段描述是安娜特“在峡谷间的作战”以及“在两个城市间 的战斗”，据推测应该是巴力和海神间战役的一部分。有可能是巴力和海神在天空中作战， 而安娜特消灭海神的人类军队。除此之外，巴力的神话一定程度上被希腊神话所吸收，成为 宙斯、赫拉克勒斯的原型之一，当然迦南人作为希伯来人的死敌， 《圣经》里也有很多关于 这方面的描写，比如该隐和亚伯的故事其实隐喻了迦南人与希伯来人的关系，巴力被雅威（耶 和华）的信徒说成伪神，别西卜，但雅威当年也叫过巴力等等，巴力受到两河流域的伊斯库 尔（阿达德）与马尔杜克的影响比如他们都被称为“风暴之子”，巴力被称作“骑云者”而马尔 杜克杯称为“驾驭风暴者”。在其他部分也提到巴力斩杀海怪，其中一处说到海怪的名为洛坦， 《旧约》中对应着利维坦——它和利坦一样有着诸多的头，而海的形象总是与龙关联起来。 就像巴力打败海神一样，雅威打败了拉哈伯，因此雅威的形象也可能吸收巴力神话群的元素 在其中。

在乌加里特，巴力是大衮之子而非父神伊勒之子。这有可能是受到当时地中海沿岸多文明入 侵和毁灭的影响，原先根深蒂固的世袭王制不再稳固，创造一个非王室后裔的巴力形象，并 融合了反抗外来入侵者以及征服海啸的思想。大衮除却指代那位半鱼之神，还具有谷物的意 思，这里将巴力称为谷物之子，可能是为了强调巴力与丰饶之间密不可分的关系。也有可能 是有亚摩利人传入。在献祭神的时候，迦南人会选择高处设坛，作为献祭诸神的圣所。对于 迦南人而言，活祭与淫祭在他们的宗教中也不罕见。据说在对摩洛神的祭祀中，人们会将初 生的婴儿作为祭品对摩洛克(以人为祭)神进行燔祭，此外还有各种圣妓，此处不多赘述。巴 力失去力量后也是通过与安娜特那啥后恢复力量的，顺带一提，由于迦太基是有腓尼基人建 立的，所以巴力也是迦太基人的神，著名的汉尼拔的名字意为巴力的恩惠，其父哈米尔卡的 名字意为梅卡尔的仆人（梅卡尔，巴力在西西里岛的变体） ，当然在现代已经就只有别西卜 和亚斯塔路这两个被一神教贬为恶魔的存在

1 基本介绍

“卡巴拉”是犹太教的神秘哲学，传说它最原始的根源来自于埃及文化。相传“卡巴拉”的概念 是由摩西——犹太教律法“Torah”的编撰者在此律法中完整表述。而生命之树，就是“卡巴拉” 思想的核心，他被视为是神创造宇宙的蓝图，或者称之为神体的构造图。生命之树不只是一 个存在于纸上的图样，而且是一个真正存在的，一个三度空间的宇宙，也就是我们存在于其 中的这个宇宙。

2 详细介绍 历史由来

卡巴拉的思想原理来自圣经“创世纪”、“启示录”，还有三至六世纪出现的“创造之书”（sepher yetzirah） 。卡巴拉思想的研究据说能够看到“宇宙神秘的因果关系”， 十三世纪编集的“光辉之书”（sepher ha-zohar）即在卡巴拉思想的原型中占有重要位置。 接下来说明生命之木。卡巴拉思想是以生长于天国的“生命之木”来象征宇宙全体，其意义非 常难解，真要说的话，生命之木意味着广大的宇宙、身为小宇宙的人体，以及达到神之境界 的精神遍历。这个生命之木是由十个圆（sephira）与 22 个径（pass）所组成。人类是处于 个别的王国，经过 22 个径到十个圆，进行冥想的旅途，直到王冠为止。此外，据说每个圆 都有守护、指导人们的大天使。 生命之树大概可以分为三支柱，十个原质，四个世界，二十二路径等基本结构。 分辨善恶树与生命树是同一棵树，人类由完人境界向下堕落的途径过程称为分辨善恶树，世 间万物以至宇宙间所有的定律本无善恶之分，直至人类堕落后有了“自我”这种概念才有所谓 善与恶之分。当人类觉悟要回复完人境界，逆向提升的途径就是生命树。两种树实为一棵树， 只是方向不同，故有两种名称以作分辨方向。 逆向提升人类灵性的生命树，在入口与出口各有魔鬼与天使看守，乃代表要进入生命树重返 永生，先要战胜心魔的引诱，去到最后还要作出最后的突破，拥有胜过天神（天使）的力量 才能成功。多人都知道基督教乃源自犹太教，但却少有人知道犹太教本身可分为两种宗派， 大部分犹太人信奉的一般皆称为犹太教，教义对于耶和华上帝的看法，其神学概念与基督教、 天主教及东正教都大同小异，都认为耶和华是一位人格化的上帝，然而，另有小部分犹太人

信仰的却是一位非人格化的上帝，通常这种信仰被称为犹太秘教，情况就有点像佛教分为显 密两宗一样。

不同教义

犹太秘教的教义认为摩西所传的道理分为两部分，一部分是为了大多数资质平庸、自甘卑下 的羔羊所传的道理，而另一部分的奥秘，只选择传授与少数智能较高、愿意以毕生的精力去 追寻真理的山羊。这部分的奥秘，就是摩西揭示了神人本来同体的秘义，这种境界，被称为 “原人阿当”(Adam Kadmon)，其实亦就是一种人类还未堕落之前的完全境界。 犹太秘教认为，要到达这种人神一体的原人阿当境界，必须通过代表生命树的卡巴拉 (Kabalah)的修练，这种修练方法近似道家的返本归真修炼法。卡巴拉的内容主要包括：创 世的秘密、生命之谜、个人以至全宇宙人类的命运预知术、改变命运的秘法、收藏在圣经内 的秘密、神与魔鬼的奥秘。这些奥秘除了收藏在天车之书、创造之书(Sefer Yezirah)与光之 书(Sefer ha-Bahir)三本希伯来文秘本之外，另有部分由先知所传下，但须先观察弟子的器根， 然后挑选合适者，代代口耳相传，只淮许流传在以色列十二支族的后人之间(此亦即摩西宣 称以色列人为上帝选民的真正原因)。卡巴拉的教义主要分为三部分，就是卡巴拉神学 (Theoretical Kabalah)、卡巴拉冥想(Meditative Kabalah) 和卡巴拉咒法(Practical Kabalah)， 你们若想多了解犹太秘教的核心教义，可参考以上提供的希伯来古籍。 然而，创世故事与生命树的谜团，仍未能从犹太秘教的教义内全面破解，原因是有部分秘密 属于不传之秘，所以若要追寻下去，必须再返本归源了解卡巴拉与生命树的源头，要知摩西 带领以色列人出埃及以前，他们的民族亦曾长时间生活在埃及与巴比伦一带，若你们多翻查 多一点考古资料，就会发现到巴比伦的创世神话与创世记有很多相似之处，最古老的生命树

图形亦源出自巴比伦，犹太秘教的卡巴拉与流传在埃及的卡巴拉亦有共通之处，只要你们综 合所有的埃及、巴比伦、犹太秘教的宗教信仰，与及各种远古的神话记载、考古资料，便能 够推出一个与我相同的结论。 以犹太秘教的观点而言，伊甸园只是一种境界，并非确实存在。“太初有道，道与神同在， 这道太初与神同在。”实际上道就是非位格化的神，原人亚当就是天人境界，阿当夏娃的堕 落，实际上就是阿含经内讲述光人下凡，因贪食果实而成为人的记载。犹太秘教有所谓全灵 的概念，所有的灵乃出于全灵的分裂，实际上摩西所传是一种即生证神的神法，但由于他传 法的时代，希伯来民族的民志未开，当时他们所崇拜的神祇超过百种，摩西唯有用以一念代 万念的方法，将所有不同的神化为一个神，开创一个近似佛教净土宗的宗派，以供大部分人 民信仰，至于真正的神法，只能无奈地只传与少数悟性较高的人民。 另外，可以告诉你多一点秘密，分辨善恶树的蛇，实际上就是印度教及瑜珈的蛇火、道家的 一阳生，如果你已经修过"拙火定"的话，应该明白是什么一回事。启示录的内容，有部分其 实是修行的法门，那些七天使、七灯与七碗，所指的是人体的七个轮位，西方有些秘密教派， 可以完全破解到其中的秘密。 卡巴拉在西方传统神秘学中，它的建立是从一个称之为“生命之树”的图开始的。这图表包含 着十个描绘“Sephiroth”的圆圈（单数请用 Sephirah） ；意思指“天体”“数字”“散发”。Sephiroth 从一到十都被精心安排在它们原本的领域里。每一个 Sephirah 都有一个原型观念。也就是 说，Sephiroth 表现出神格与创造这世界的步骤。在物质界中，根据着古老的观念，它们表 现在神圣的范围里。 越过第一个 Sephirah “Kether（Crown；王冠）”之后，遇见的是三层能量的环， 第一层是虚空（原文为 Ain） ， 再来是无限（Ain-Soph） ，

最后一层是无数的光（Ain-Soph Aur） 。 这些过程显示着，从最早的无到存在个体出现的有之程序（Kether 算是存在的个体）。它们 没有数字，纵使是克罗利大师，也只能意思地把它们定在 0,00,与 000。 但这些东西在卡巴拉思想中却是很低阶的；因为它们仍具有物质的存在。其实生命之树共有 四株，刚刚写的是最低阶、物质最多，名为行动界 World of Action（Olam ha-Assiah）。生 命之树也存在于其它三个高层的时空之中。比刚刚较高一级与物质已经很少的世界是形成界 World of Formation（Olam ha-Yetzirah） ，柏拉图的世界大概就是那样子吧。 在 Atziluth，每个 Sephirah 都与一个特殊少见的神灵名字有所关联。举例∶与 Geburah 有 关的圣灵是 Elomhim Gibor，“全能的神”在 Elomhim Gibor 他的职务分配上是未经仁慈调和 的严厉审判官与公正的分配者。在希腊罗马神话中，这圣灵的名字当然是 Mars 噜﹏下一个 世界是创造界 World of Creation（Olam ha-briah） ，身在其中的 Sephiroth 都与天使长有关 系。在这大家会听见很熟悉的名字，如：Raphael（拉菲尔）、Micheal（米契尔）、Gabriel （加布列尔） （请参阅熊熊所写的【黄道天使守护】） 。在 Briah 之上则是流出界 World of Nobility （Olam ha-Atziluth） ， 在这 Sephiroth 与不同的天使或主权天使有关系， 如：Cherubim （四翼天使）与 Seraphim（六翼天使）。 提到卡巴拉思想的象征，那就是“木”（Sephiroth；生命之木）了。在深入生命之木前，先来 谈谈卡巴拉思想。 卡巴拉是犹太神秘思想的最终奥义，语源在希伯来语中的意思是口传、传授。据说根源于亚 伯拉罕由天使传授而得知“无法以文字表示”的秘密，长久以来一直是犹太思想最神秘的部 分，直到十三世纪才慢慢为人所知，之后成为炼金术师、宗教、蔷薇十字军等等的一部分思 想根源。

十个原质（The Ten Sephiroth）：在卡巴拉的历史发展中，不同学派对质点提出了不同的 构成结构，表达了不同的灵性层面。计数到十的传统始于《创世之书》，“虚无的十位质点， 既非九，也非十一”。 虽然不同学派总共列出了十一个质点，但其中的两个质点（Keter 与 Da'at）被看作是同一本质的潜意识表现与意识的表现，所以这十一个质点归为十个类别。 十个原质按照由上至下，由右到左的顺序分别是： 王冠（Crown）：超越、神的本性；亦代表着净火天。 智慧（Wisdom）：智慧、纯粹理性、创造原点；亦代表着恒星天/原动天。 理解（Understanding）：执行、实质的理性、创造之泉：亦代表着土星天。 仁爱（Love）：爱、仁慈、恩宠、伟大；亦代表着木星天。 严格（Severity）：法、神的权利、恶的发现、怒；亦代表着火星天。 美丽（Beauty）：慈悲、调停、美；亦代表着太阳天。此原质正是生命之树的核心。 胜利（Victory）：永远、膨胀、胜利；亦代表着金星天。 光辉（Splendor）：尊严、收缩、光荣；亦代表着水星天。 基础（Foundation）：基础、万物的基础、神的创造力；亦代表着月球天。 王国（Kingdom）：王国、物质、人；亦代表着四元素所合成，即是物质的存在。 如果我们依次连结 1 到 10 的话又称为“火剑之路”（Path of the Flaming Sword） 在 16 世纪的鲁利安体系的卡巴拉（英语：Lurianic Kabbalah）中，出现了质点 Da'at。Da'at 所在之处，生命之树的十个质点合为一体，所以通常不会被描绘。然而有时 Da'at 也会被视

为质点并取代 Keter，沿生命之树中轴线出现，位于 Keter(王冠）的正下方、Tiphareth( 美 丽）的正上方，这时它被视为非意识的 Keter 的意识表现。 四个世界

四个世界（The Four Worlds） ： 原形的世界（the Archetypal World） ：位阶最高，最完美的世界。其它世界都是由此创造的。 纯洁的灵魂和思想，代表着神的意志（the will of deity） 。 创造的世界（the Creative World） ：来自 Atziluth 的光开始组织起来。思想和观念开始被赋 予形态。这是大天使的世界，神的心（the heart of deity） 形成的世界（the Formation World） ：来自 Briah 的组织开始形成物质。形态开始表现。这 是小天使的世界，神的心智（the mind of deity） 物质的世界（the Material World） ：原始的光分崩离析，开始结晶形成物质，自然界，以及 人的存在。抽象的观念变成具体的事物，这是人的世界。

三支柱

三支柱（The Three Pillars）：三支柱从右往左分别是：慈悲之柱（Pillar of Mercy）、温和 之柱（pillar of Mildness）、严厉之柱（pillar of Severity）二十二路径（The 22 Paths）：“路 径”是两个原质之间意义的连结，生命之树代表着精神到物质的产生过程。

现在的卡巴拉生命树概念为由中世纪犹太神秘主义者犹太教教士“拉比”所创，他将过去的知 识，以数字和字母的方式结合起来，作为解答宗教哲学问题上之依据。后来犹太教徒更进一 步将事物起源区分为经由 22 条路径环环相扣的 10 个数字，每个数字都对应一个希伯来文字 母，具体的分类图表则用生命之树来表示。十三世纪因《光辉之书》 （SEFHER HAZOHAR） 而广为人知，这种说法到了十六世纪已经发展成类似基督教形式的哲学理论。全世界有许多 宗教和流派信奉不同的生命树概念。亚森尼派甚至以生命之树（SEPHIROTH）为信仰核心， 但是亚森尼的生命之树反倒比较接近印度玄学的领域。SEPHIROTH 的真义是象征人类获得 救赎的过程。线代表“存在的形式”（FORMS OF EXISTRNCE） ，圆代表知觉的形式（FORMS OF CONSCLOUSNESS） ，前者是“智慧的次路径”，后者是“智慧的主路径”，整副图象由“力” （FORCE）沉淀到“型”（FORM） ，即救赎的过程。

对于卡巴拉生命树的看法，一般都认为生命树中的十个球面代表神的十个面，左边代表男性， 右边代表女性，而中间则是二者和协地带。对信徒而言那十个球面也代表人类所能够取得的 能量中心，这是古代宗教发展出来关于“神”的观念。以石炭和火焰作比喻，人在黑暗中是无 法分辨出黑炭的存在的，但是一旦黑炭燃烧放出光芒，人就可以发现它的存在，可是火焰只 是黑炭所表达出来的性质中的一种，决不是代表黑炭的全部。古代思想家认为“神”也是这样 子的存在，于是设计了十种阶段的神的属性，称为“卡巴拉”，而连接这十种属性的流出经路 的结构，就称为“卡巴拉生命树 ”。犹太神秘主义

神秘主义是灵魂和神的直接和即时的交流。神秘“mystic”一次源于一个古希腊文的动词，意 思是紧闭双唇。当犹太神秘主义者也经历了一种抛弃尘世，显示出一个无所不在的精神实在 的时候，他们也按照犹太教的传统，为整个神秘主义体系做出了自己的贡献。 犹太神秘主义者对传统保持极大的敬意，并将自己视为他们的神秘传统的传达者，此为犹太 神秘主义的特征（希伯来文中的“kabbalah”，即传统一词，在具有神秘主义内涵以前，早已 得到广义的使用。 犹太神秘主义的第二种类型，不同于第一种类型——“四轮的运转”，以“创造的工作” （ma'saseh bereshit）而知名。这种神秘主义的一本最重要的典籍是题为《创造之书》 （Sefer Yetzirah）的论述宇宙哲学和宇宙志的简要和晦涩的著作。该书指出，上帝是通过由 10 个基 本数字和 22 个基本字母组成的 32 条“神秘的智慧之路”创造世界的。这些数字被称为“数” （Sefirot，单数是 Sefirah），它成了秘传的犹太传统的一个关键词汇。这些被认为受到了 新毕达哥拉斯哲学的影响（毕达哥拉斯学派——古希腊一哲学流派，主张数是万物的本源）。 卡巴拉（kabbalah）一词源于希伯来的阿拉姆迦勒底语，意为 "to receive, to accept"， 意 思是“口述传统”，可能是近似冥想，打坐之类方法寻求宇宙奥秘的修行法。据说是摩西在西 奈山受十诫时由天神或大天使一并传授。此后以口传方式流传下来，直到第一，二世纪才见 诸文字。在很多情况下，它与"tradition（传统）"当作同义词使用。 随着卡巴拉一词的盛行，犹太教的很多分支吸收了这一概念，特别是中世纪的哈西德主义 （Hasidism）。直到现在，很多名人和新时代实践者宣称研习卡巴拉，但是这些新兴的卡 巴拉（New Age Kabbalah）仅仅只有部分内容与古典卡巴拉相同（classic Kabbalah）。 “卡巴拉”被定义为见神论（theosophy）——一种关于隐藏着的神圣本质的说教的一种形式。 “卡巴拉”的基本观念是在 12 世纪末普罗旺斯的一本叫《光明之书》（Bahir）的著作里首次 出现的。按照《光明之书》和以后整个卡巴拉传统的解释，数是上帝本身的属性：内在于上

帝的独特力量。《光明之书》将 10 个数称作为盛器、冠冕或记号，他们形成了上帝头颅的 内在结构。“卡巴拉”认为上帝是一个统一体，但认为他具有一种可知的内部形态，这就取代 了犹太哲学家坚持的那种认为上帝绝对单纯的理论。 12 世纪最具影响的卡巴拉分子——盲人以撒（Isaac the Blind，1160-1235）认为数本身是一 条潜藏着的、无限的水平的流出，这条水平的更深层存在于神圣存在之中（这个绝对不可知 的数的根源被卡巴拉分子称作为“无限”Ayn Sof）。按照以撒的观点，从“无限”中产生出第一 种超然的性质，并称之为“神圣思想”（Mahshavah），从神圣思想流射出其他的数。在盲人 以撒以后，新柏拉图主义继续影响着卡巴拉分子。 13 世纪巴塞罗纳的阿兹利尔（Azriel，为盲人以撒的学生）对盲人以撒的观点最重要的修正， 使用“神圣意志”取代“神圣思想”作为“无限”的第一层流射，使意志而非智力作为上帝存在的 首要证明。 卡巴拉历史的一个转折点是 13 世纪末《佐哈尔》（Zohar，意为《光辉之书》）。在其后的 1 个世纪里，它被认为是卡巴拉理论的权威。 按照“卡巴拉”的观点，存在于上帝的“根本的根本”是“无限”，它是无止境的、无形的“第一原 因”，不能为人类思想所把握的“第一原因”。“无限”是从神的自我显示的过程中推出的。数作 为“无限”显而不见的力和光，从神秘的深层透射出来。“卡巴拉”认为，数的统一体构造了祈 祷和沉思所指向的，宗教中的人格上帝。在这一统一体中，数被揭示出神圣性。因此在《光 辉之书》有关创造的一段描述中，数被比作为一道火焰上面部分的色彩： “起初”（《创世纪》第一章第一句）——当主的意志开始发生效力时，他在天国（环绕他的 地方）刻下了标记。在最隐秘的深处，一股浓烈的火焰从“无限”的神秘中喷出，像一团雾在 那个领域的周围形成了一个圆圈，不白不黑，不红不绿，没有任何颜色。只是在这股烈焰开 始扩大的时候，它才产生各种耀眼的色彩。从它最中间的部分产生出一口井，从中发出各种

颜色，并向下届的所有事物扩散，被隐藏于神秘的无限之神秘中。 数是从“无限”的绝对神秘中发出的等级或梯层；它们不像新柏拉图主义所认为的那样，是上 帝和物质世界之间居间的力量，每一个数及其整个数的体系都被赋予了一种复杂的象征标 记。10 个数最普通的名称是： 1.至高冠冕（Keter Elyon，《光辉之书》将这个数称作为“神圣意志”）。 2.智慧（Hokhmah），原初的不变的神圣思想。 3.知性（Binah），和慧不同，它是造成差别的智力原则。 4.伟大（Gedullah），有时被称为上帝充溢的爱。 5.大能（Gevurah），经常被称为严格的判断。 6.美（Tiferet），经常被称为同情。 7.永恒（Netzah）。 8.威（Hod）。 9.根本（Yesod），有时被称为公正者。 10.王国（Malkhut），经常按传统的词语称之为“神圣的存在”，并被认为是以色列共同体的 神圣原型。

每个数同它的整体的关系是不倦的和忠情的卡巴拉沉思的主题。 各个数之间的关系具有一种正式的结构，这一结构通常被分为三个部分。至高冠冕、智慧、 知性这前 3 个数，形成了神圣有机体中的智力水平：意志、思想、知识。以下 7 个数的名字 取自《历代志略》第一卷第二十九章第十一节，没有表达每个数精确的象征意义。伟大、大 能和美构成了第二组，它是神性心灵或道德水准。永恒、威和根本构成了（在最受新柏拉图 主义影响的论著中）自然中特定的力量的原型。第 10 个数，王国，具有它自己精巧的象征

[历史]

整个历史中，卡巴拉（Kabbalah）的传统中有几个重要的作家、神秘主义者、和犹太教先 知（rabbi）：摩西?德?利昂（Moses de Leon），艾萨克?卢里亚（Isaac Luria），亚伯拉罕? 阿布拉菲亚（Abraham Abulafia），所罗门?本?盖比洛（Solomon ibn Gabirol）。他们是一 些历史上重要的卡巴拉实践者，其中艾萨克?卢里亚（Isaac Luria），亚伯拉罕?阿布拉菲亚 （Abraham Abulafia）的神秘主义理论成为整个卡巴拉主义中的最重要的两个组成部分。在 二十世纪，学者 Gershom Scholem 做了大量卡巴拉（Kabbalah）的严谨研究。在卡巴拉的 历史方面，他的研究被认定是最权威的。

亚伯拉罕.阿布拉菲亚和先知卡巴拉教义(旧卡巴拉主义阶段)： 从 1200 年开始，卡巴拉作为一个明确的神秘主义出现。它的人数尚少，但在法国和西班牙 地区已产生了重要影响。亚伯拉罕?阿布拉菲亚出生于 1240 年，他的主要作用是将以前散乱 的神秘哲学、拉比哲学和著名典籍做了些统合及总括。这个总括的结果就是，先知卡巴拉教 义的核心就是直接依赖于启示.。 亚伯拉罕.阿布拉菲亚认为卡巴拉神秘学者所要达到的目的是：释放灵魂，解开捆绑它的绳 结。人身上所有内在力量和秘密的灵魂，是被配给身体而不同于身体的。当绳结被解开，它 们就回到原初状态。没有任何的二重性的一，只是由它物构成了许多。但是这个意义仅被作 为一种象征，实际上它的意思是灵魂的个体存在与宇宙生命之流之间，有某些障碍将它们分 开——经历了新生命诞生的过程之后，有一道堤坝把灵魂限制在人类存在的范围内，隔绝了 它四面八方的神圣洪流，也是这道堤坝阻止了灵魂认识上帝，加在灵魂上的锁封缄洪流保证 了灵魂的正常状态。 除此以外，阿布拉菲亚的另一个著名理论是字母组合学(Hokhmath ha-tseruf)。这被说成借 助字母及其外形沉思的指导方法，组合的单个字母需要在日常情况下没有意义。它们没有意 义正是其长处，因为较少可能误导我们。因此，所有事物的存在只由圣名的程度决定，这伟 大的名字在整个创造中显示自己。这种灵性语言的字母是最根本的灵性实在和最深奥的理解 与知识的成分。 由此诞生了字母冥想，发音 mivta，书写 miktav，思想 mahshav 是冥想的三个附加层面， 字母是每一层面的元素。灵性由思想中字母的活动产生理性的真理，那就是圣灵的辉煌形象， 只有从这里他才能进入钻研 22 个字母的更深入阶段。 艾萨克.卢里亚及其学派(新卡巴拉主义阶段) ： 15 世纪末期犹太人从西班牙被驱逐，同一时期也是旧卡巴主义的发展终点。艾萨克?卢里亚

作为新卡巴主义阶段的代表人物，创造了大量当今卡巴拉的重要概念。例如将 10 个圣质和 22 个字母的意义在生命树中补完，以及将四元素形成世界的理论补充完全。 关于四个世界的先后意义，实际脱胎于回归(Tsimtsum)的收缩非流出概念。 旧卡巴拉信徒对于宇宙发生过程的概念远为简单。宇宙始于一个行动，上帝将自己的创造力 从他的自我投射到空间中，每个新的行动是外化过程的一个新阶段，这些阶段与新柏拉图主 义的流溢论学说一样，直线从上到下展开，整个过程是单向而简单的。 而卢里亚学说的流出非收缩理论与上面不同，它是建立在“回归（Tsimtsum)”学说上，这个 词原意是“集中”或“缩小”，卡巴拉信徒更愿意理解为神的后退。因为神的所有灵们（也是神 本身）集中于一个点，但卢里亚派别认为是后退（即撤离直接物质干涉世界）的点。 按卢里亚派是说唯一存在将自己的其它表现形式收回于一个神秘空间，为了在创造和启示的 行动中再回来，即 EN-SOF，唯一存在的首次行动就是一种倒退的运动，即收缩，而非流出， 宇宙的进程是双重的，每一阶段都受到双重张力，也就是流回本源的光和从它流出的光（这 个也解释了宇宙在不断扩张的过程中为何有反作用力，或是说反作用力先于扩张的力量，其 一项体现就是黑洞的存在）。其实 Tsimtsum 概念比“容器的破裂”更为深奥，容器破裂是说 某些神圣力量被逐出自身，而回归说的则是逐入自身。 Tsimtsum 中决定因而也是限制了自身，这便是审判行动，显示了所有存在物中这一性质的 根原；“神圣审判的根源”再混沌中继续存在着，与圣光的残余相混合，这圣光的残余是在初 次退却后留在被造前的原始空间中的，然后第二道光从“无限者”的本质中从混沌中建立秩 序，启动了宇宙的进程，区分不同要素并把它们变为新的形式。通过这一过程，两股永远涨 落的潮流，即 hiyhpashtuth 和 histalkuth——不断的影响和被影响，因此世界有了规律， 预言者们则通晓了此规律。 现在的卡巴拉生命树概念为由中世纪犹太神秘主义者犹太教教士“拉比”所创，他将过去古代

的知识，以数字和字母的方式结合起来，作为解答宗教哲学问题上之依据。后来犹太教徒更 进一步将事物起源区分为经由 22 条路径环环相扣的 10 个数字，每个数字都对应一个希伯来 文字母，具体的分类图表则用生命之树来表示。十三世纪因《光辉之书》（SEFHER HAZOHAR）而广为人知，这种说法到了十六世纪已经发展成类似基督教形式的哲学理论。 全世界有许多宗教和流派信奉不同的生命树概念。亚森尼派甚至以生命之树（SEPHIROTH） 为信仰核心，但是亚森尼的生命之树反倒比较接近印度玄学的领域。SEPHIROTH 的真义是 象征人类获得救赎的过程。线代表“存在的形式”（FORMS OF EXISTRNCE），圆代表知觉 的形式（FORMS OF CONSCLOUSNESS），前者是“智慧的次路径”，后者是“智慧的主路径”， 整副图象由“力”（FORCE）沉淀到“型”（FORM），即救赎的过程。

卡巴拉生命之树：

传说中的“真理之树”（Sephirothic Tree），又称世界树、生命树。在真理之树上描绘着十个 代表真理的圈（Sephiroth），表现的是神格和创造世界的步骤。 对于卡巴拉生命树的看法，一般都认为生命树中的十个球面代表神的十个面，左边代表男性， 右边代表女性，而中间则是二者和协地带。对信徒而言那十个球面也代表人类所能够取得的 能量中心，这是古代宗教发展出来关于“神”的观念。以石炭和火焰作比喻，人在黑暗中是无 法分辨出黑炭的存在的，但是一旦黑炭燃烧放出光芒，人就可以发现它的存在，可是火焰只 是黑炭所表达出来的性质中的一种，决不是代表黑炭的全部。古代思想家认为“神”也是这样 子的存在，于是设计了十种阶段的神的属性，称为“卡巴拉”，而连接这十种属性的流出经路 的结构，就称为“卡巴拉生命树”。 卡巴拉思想是以生长于天国的「生命之木」来象征宇宙全体，其意义非常难解，真要说的话， 生命之木意味着广大的宇宙、身为小宇宙的人体，以及达到神之境界的精神遍历。这个生命

之木是由十个圆（Sephira）与 22 个径（Pass）所组成。人类是处于个别的王国，经过 22 个径到十个圆，进行冥想的旅途，直到王冠为止。此外，据说每个圆都有守护和知道人们们 的大天使。 十个圆： Kaether——王冠（Metatron，麦塔特罗）超越、言叶、神的本性,与人类头顶的大宇宙之间 的接点。有创造的泉源、纯粹存在、生命力的泉源之意。 Cochmah——智慧（Ratziel） 知惠、纯粹理性、创造原点，别名为「至高之父」，为男性 原理及「动性」的象征。 Binah——理解（Zaphkiel） 知性、实质的理性、创造之泉，有「至高之母」的别名，和至 高之父是相对应的关系，赋予所有事物的形体。 Chesed——慈悲（Zadkiel） 爱、慈悲、恩宠、伟大，意味着纯粹而神圣的宇宙法则——爱。 Geburah——神之力（Camael，卡马尔）法、神的权力、恶的发现、怒，别名是「天使的外 科医生」。 Tiphreth——美（Michael，米凯尔）慈悲、调停、美，生命之木中央的位置。补充所有生 物之能源的中心。 Netreth——胜利（Hamiel） 永远、膨胀、胜利，含有「丰饶」之意，数字是７。７是来 自圣经创世纪之中上帝「创造的七天」。有坚实、勇气的意义在内。 Hod——荣光（Raphael；拉斐尔） 尊严、收缩、荣光，有物体形态的「铸形」之意。 Iesod——基盘（Gabriel；加百列）基储万物的基储神的创造力意味着「astral 体」，也就 是灵魂与肉体之中的灵气。卡巴拉以此表现「前存在物」。 Malchut——王国（Metatron；麦塔特罗） 王国、物质、人，「物体的王国」之意。 二十二路径（The 22 Paths）：

是两个原质之间意义的连结，生命之树代表着精神到物质的产生过程。 如果我们依次连结 1 到 10 的话又称为“火剑之路”（Path of the Flaming Sword） The Four Worlds——四个世界（阶层）： 原形的世界（the Archetypal World；Atziluth；神性界；火）：位阶最高，最完美的世界。 其它世界都是由此创造的。纯洁的灵魂和思想，代表着神的意志（the will of deity）。 创造的世界（the Creative World；Beriah；创造界；风）： 来自 Atziluth 的光开始组织起 来。思想和观念开始被赋予形态。这是大天使的世界，神的心（the heart of deity）。 形成的世界（the Formation World；Yetzirah；形成界；水）： 来自 Briah 的组织开始形 成物质。形态开始表现。这是小天使的世界，神的心智（the mind of deity）。 物质的世界（the Material World；Assiah；物体界；土）： 原始的光分崩离析，开始结晶 形成物质，自然界，以及人的存在。抽象的观念变成具体的事物，这是人的世界。 三支柱（The Three Pillars）：

从右往左分别是：慈悲之柱（Pillar of Mercy）、和谐之柱（pillar of Mildness）、严厉之柱 （pillar of Severity）。

[第一章]

卡巴拉生命之树内有 32 智慧之路的意义，通往永恒本源的道路有十二条，分 别代表希伯莱语的各个字母。 2．其中十个是不发音的辅音，二十二个是韵母，代表构成万物的基本元素。 二十二个字母当中有三个是母音（元音字母），七个单音节字母和十二个双音 节字母。

3．十个不发声的辅音代表数字，也代表人的十只手指，左右手各五只。它们 之上的是通过口传的道，通过割礼（犹太教的一种仪式）而建立的坚固盟约。 4．十是不可发声的辅音，是十，而不是九，也不是十一。理解这种智慧，增 强你的洞察力，找出其中的奥秘，认识造物主的道，最后戴上国王的冠冕。 5．十个辅音的对应之物是十块广阔的地方。它们都无边无际，没有起始，没 能终点；代表好与坏之间的深渊；无可限量的高度和深度；一望无际的东方与 西方，南方与北方。只有神能主宰一切，忠实的国王坐在宝座上掌管一切，直 到永远永远。 6．十个辅音就像灵感一样闪电般地出现，它们拥有看不见的起始与终结。道 就包含在它们里面，如同它们自身一样来去匆匆。它们读起上来就像一阵旋风 那样，最后以臣服在宝座之前来结束。 7．十个辅音，结束也是起始，就像火焰从一根燃烧的木头上升起一样。神是 最完美的和谐与统一，再没有其他荣耀比得上他：在“一”之前还有什么数字可 以同“一”相比呢？（注：零，负数，小数是“一”之后才发明的。） 8．十个不可发声的辅音封住你的嘴唇，让你的心去冥想不可说的道；如果你 的思想脱离了道，把它找回来，带回正确的轨道，正如经上所说的“出走与回 归”（生命的出走与回归），盟约就这样建立了。 9．十个辅音给予十个数字力量。首先是神活生生的灵，再没有其它比得上活 生生的万物之神。声音，精神和道——构成了圣灵。 10．第二，他从灵那里产生了空气，并且从那里形成了二十二个发音的字母， 包括三个元音，七个单音节字母和十二个双音节字母，但是精神先于这些字母。 第三，他又从空气那里形成了水，又从没有形态的流体和声音里面形成了泥潭

和粘土，在它们上面形成了有形态的表层。辟开它们，里面的深层是坚固的有 形物质；第四，他从水那里又形成了水，并为自己造就了荣耀的冠冕，欧弗利 姆，萨拉菲姆和卡拉比姆是三位掌管的天使。（它们都属于四翼天使和六翼天 使）三位天使建成了他的住所，正如经上所说，闪烁的火焰形成了他的三位掌 管者。 11．从这些简单的字母中选择其中三个，并把它们隐藏起来，成为了一个伟大 的名字 IHV。他用这三个字母从六个方向隐藏宇宙的奥秘。 第五，他向上看，用 IHV 隐藏了宇宙的高度。 第站，他向下看，用 IVH 隐藏了宇宙的深度。 第七，他向前看，用 HIV 隐藏了东方的尽头。 第八，他向后看，用 HVI 隐藏了西方的尽头。 第九，他向右看，用 VIH 隐藏了南方的尽头。 第十，他向左看，用 VHI 隐藏了北方的尽头。 12．看，十大辅音字母已经展现了生命之神，至圣者之灵的奥秘：空气，水， 火三要素；还有上，下，东，西，南，北六个方向。

[第二章]

1．二十二个发音的字母是一切事物的基础。三个元音，七个单音节和十二个双音节字母。 三个元音就是阿勒夫，门和闪（Aleph,Men,Shin），代表空气，水，火。水代表寂静，火代 表咝咝作声，水从灵魂而来，作为调解的口舌，平衡所有的对立事物，使其和谐，平静。 2．他用二十二个字母的灵魂组成了一切有形，有重量之物。从此之后，万物之灵都在里面。

3．二十二个字母由声音形成，在空气中留下印记，由五处地方发出：喉咙，舌头，牙齿和 嘴唇。 4．二十二个字母是组成万物的基础。他用二十二个字母组成一个拥有二百三十一道门的球 体。不论好与坏，球体都会来回旋转，好的会带来喜悦，坏的会带来痛苦。 5．他会把这些字母的组成展示出来，一个接一个：阿勒夫与其他字母组成一起；贝夫（第 二个字母）又与其他字母组合在一起。。。如此类推。这些字母一共有二百三十一种排列组 合，代表二百三十一道通往知识之门。 6．他从虚无中制造一些东西来：语言以及其他相关的一切就这样诞生了。他从虚空中制造 了物质世界，他从大地内层开始为一切带来生命。他开天辟地，他用无形的空气制造出巨大 的支柱，他以他的名字的权柄制造每一样‘动物和其他物体’（他为一切命名）。由二十二个 字母组成的一切产物都证实了它们是出自单一个体，是一个身体内各个不同的组成部分。

[第三章]

1．其余事物的组成基础是三个元音字母：阿勒夫，门和闪。它们代表着一种平衡：一方面 是丑陋；另一方面是完美。阿勒夫代表空气，因为舌头通过空气磨擦而发出声音，所以阿勒 夫也间接代表着舌头。舌头是用来平衡两者的关系的。 2．阿勒夫，门和闪三个元音是一个伟大的奥秘，非常令人敬佩，充满着生机，封印在六个 圆环里面，代表空气，火和水三要素，分开成三种阳性和三种阴性的力量，成为三位父亲和 三位母亲。他们组成世上万物。 3．阿勒夫，门和闪是这个世界的三位母亲：火由天堂而来（因为火焰和烟雾会不断向上升）， 水由大地而来，空气由灵魂而来，作为水和火之间的调停者。

4．火，水和空气这三要素长年累月都存在世上：火能产生热，水能产生冷，空气能产生气 温，位于水和火之间。阿勒夫，门和闪三位母亲。火，水和空气也形成于人体内：火代表头 脑；水代表腹部；空气代表胸部，正好位于两者之间。 5．他创造了这三位母亲，把她们组合起来，封存在宇宙的奥秘里面。他让字母阿勒夫管治 空气，并为她加冕，成为这个世界的空气，一年里头的气候变化是空气，人胸腔内的肺呼吸 的也是空气，阳性为 A.M.S.，阴性为 S.M.A。他让字母“门”去管治活水，并为她加冕，成为 地上的水。水能带来凉快，人的腹腔也充满水，作为阳性的是 M.A.S, 阴性的是 M.S.A。他 让字母“闪”去管治火，并为她加冕，同其它元素组合起来，封印在天堂上。火能带来热，人 的头脑充满火，所以能擦出思想的火花，无阴阳之分。
