PANDA LIBRARY
The site is located in the Giant Panda Wild Release Center in Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province. The area near the site is the main living habitat of red pandas, and the wild pandas live on the opposite side of the mountain. It is hoped to build a library that is friendly with nature. It aim at create a more harmonious interaction, which is different from the normal relationship between humans and animals in zoos. Visitors here can read and watch animals in a comfortable atmosphere, without intervening too much in the habitat of wild animals.
We are tourists here and we need Spaces where we can interact with nature and animals.
We are students here for summer camp. We need enough space for outdoor activities and learning and communication
We are scholars here to do research, and we need enough space to read, study and lecture

The building is located in a valley, facing rivers and roads. It is mainly composed of six parts, each of which has a different way of combining with the mountain, creating a variety of viewing angles. I have designed platforms of different levels between the blocks and limited the flow of people to the platforms above as much as possible. On the one hand, it provides tourists with a variety of perspectives to look at pandas and the possibility of close contact with red pandas, on the other hand, it minimizes the impact of human activities on nature and the destruction of the habitat of red pandas.

This building is one of the important reading spaces of the whole project. It is located in the mountain forest and has low openness. It can only be reached through other building platforms. Through the rotation and superposition of two individual pieces, a rich internal platform together with a quiet, comfortable and interesting reading space is created.

DINGHAI ROAD YOUTH HOSTEI
The base is located in a shantytown in Shanghai. People living in this area have a low consumption level, but they all have a positive desire for a better life. The project hopes to provide short-term accommodation for young people who have limited consumption but pursue the quality of life. The aim of this project is to create a diversified of public Spaces within a limited site, and to create conditions for high quality socializing and leisure for them.
Because of the high residential density and the limited green space and public activity space in this area, I hope that this building is not only a simple youth hostel, but also a community living room and public activity center in this area, so the public space in the site is designed emphatically.
There are two main types of public space in this area: the courtyard and the roof garden. The courtyard on the ground floor is open to the residents of the nearby community, while the users of the roof garden are mainly the guests living in the hotel.

The project is mainly composed of four buildings with accommodation functions and two buildings with leisure functions. The outdoor space is mainly composed of three continuous yards in the middle and two yards on the side. The interior provides a public space that can meet various needs, such as reading, fitness, gathering, music, exhibition, and so on. It echoes the function of outdoor activities, providing the possibility for users to have a variety of entertainment.

PERSPECTIVE SECTION
Residents will have different space experiences in different buildings. The buildings close to the street are open. I have designed many outdoor platforms of different natures to provide sufficient outdoor activity space. The buildings close to the former site of the factory are more introverted. Many quiet reading and learning spaces are created inside, and the public space is mainly the indoor communication space.
FLOATING COMMUNITY
uilding land is scarce and expensive. At the same time, there are increasing concerns about climate influences in vulnerable wetlands such as along rivers, in deltas and along the coast. In addition to densification or reuse the land in city, building on water is also a possible solution to save agricultural land and nature. During this design studio we explore how these high-tech and low-tech approaches can be combined and how a safe sustainable floating community can be built. The project is located on the coast of Vancouver.
B
It can be seen from the figure that the building density in the west is high, and it gradually becomes sparse in the East.
The project is located in the middle part (i.e. the coast of suburban towns), which can not only facilitate the use of existing urban infrastructure, but also take into account the mountain and coastal landscape.
The project is located on the coast of Vancouver, close to a small town. The west side of the project is a prosperous city, while the east side is a mountain village with rich natural resources.
The main transportation network, airport and port are concentrated in the west side of the city. There are two main roads running through the whole city. The one near the site is Dollarton Highway.
This figure shows the distance between the base and some existing infrastructure on the bank, among which the distance from the school supermarket in the vibration center is 180 meters, the distance from the sports ground is about 200 meters, the distance from the Municipal Center is about 250 meters, and the distance from the green park is about 100 meters.
The second type of people are families who come here for vacation. They hope to have an independent living space to ensure personal privacy and independence. At the same time, they also have enough meeting space to fully enjoy the natural scenery and exchange feelings
The first group is newly graduated college students or other young people. They are in a transitional stage of life. They are not rich in funds and need some cheap houses to live in, but they also yearn for an interesting and healthy living environment.
The general atmosphere of the base is divided into two areas, one facing the planting area in the West and the other facing the mountain landscape in the East.
The landscape organization along the bank mainly conforms to the original building axis of the base, carries out a series of transformations and public space organizations of different nature.
The public space organizations in the water community are mainly distributed on the circle with the entrance as the center and the distance from the entrance to the important public function center on the bank as the radius.

The main buildings in this community are push-pull structures. After the modularization treatment, it can be easily assembled and put into the water. At the same time, the push of different components also provides rich possibilities for the use of buildings and space composition. In the limited space, it can not only meet the needs of residential space as much as possible, but also provide full possibilities for outdoor activities.

SURVEYING AND MAPPING OF Qiuxianpu
In the summer vacation of 2021, I and my two teammates went to Qiuxianpu, located in Jiading District, Shanghai, to survey and map the ancient garden buildings. In this project, I was mainly responsible for drawing the architectural drawings of Qingxuan and Liuyunju according to the actual survey data, and the other two students carried out the research on garden plants and the drawing of pattern records respectively.
general layout oF Qiuxianpu
Qiuxianpu, located at No. 314, East Street, Shanghai, is a famous classical garden in the south of the Yangtze River in China and one of the five ancient gardens in Shanghai. It was originally built in 1502, the 15th year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty. It was originally the private garden of Gong Hong, Minister of Works of the Ming Dynasty.
The building I mainly surveyed is Qingxuan, which is located on the north wall of Qiuxianpu. The building stretches across the park, with the inner half on the water and the outer half on the ground.
In the surveying and mapping research of architecture, the drawings mainly show its structural characteristics and surrounding environment, especially the unique state of half facing water and half on the ground, and express its ancient architectural structure and exquisite decorative components in detail.
