This green spotting is a natural side effect of new timber and will fade over time, without affecting product durability or quality.

Timber is a unique and natural material that fits in with the landscape of any garden. No timber product we make is ever exactly the same; each one we create will have its own distinctive timber features.

Each timber product we make will have its own defining features, and so knots embedded within the wood should not be a cause for concern. These knots are a natural feature of wood, which tell the story of the tree that made them. The number of visible knots will vary from product to product.

Each piece of timber is unique and so you may notice variations in colour when the product is purchased. However, once assembled and exposed to the sun, colour and shading will even out as the timber reacts to sunlight.

All timber that we use to craft our beautiful products is certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council®, so you can rest assured that it has been ethically sourced.

To further extend the life of our products, most Zest 4 Leisure timber products are pressure treated. During the pressure treatment process, green spotting may appear on the surface of the new products, which is caused by salt leaving the timber.

All sizes where quoted are approximate and in metric. Products have been measured to maximum exterior dimensions including roof overhang unless otherwise stated. Our policy is one of continuous improvement.

We therefore reserve the right to modify product designs and specifications without prior notice.
