Una storia da raccontare un imprenditore, una famiglia tra esperienza e ispirazione

Siamo nel 1973, in Italia è boom economico e Milano è il fulcro indiscusso della moda.

Mentre tutto il business ruota attorno alla città lombarda, nell’assolato Mezzogiorno d’Italia, un lungimirante tecnico di macchine da cucire, decide di cavalcare l’onda delcambiamento.

Riunisce un gruppo di esperte artigiane e fonda il primo laboratorio di Couture ricercato. È l’intuizione a guidarlo e il progresso gli apre un sentiero che nei primi anni ’90 tocca tappe internazionali.

L’ingresso nel mercato della moda è ufficiale.

Costanti impulsi creativi e ripetuti traguardi diventano i capitoli di una storia in cui tradizione, famiglia, passione e valori si uniscono per raccontare Zero & Co.

A story worth telling AN ENTREPRENEUR AND A FAMILY, COMBINING EXPERIENCE WITH INSPIRATION The year is 1973. Italy is enjoying an economic boom and Milan is the undisputed capital of fashion. While all the business in the fashion world is taking place in Milan, in the warmer climes of southern Italy, a sewing-machine technician with a far-sighted vision of the future resolves to ride the wave of change.

He brings together a group of expert craftsmen with whom he sets up the first workshop dedicated to specialised couture.

His intuition is well placed, for it sets him and the company on a path that, by the early 1990s, will lead them to international recognition.

The company officially enters the world of high fashion, and the following chapters of its story are all about how constant creativity, inventiveness and a string of successes coalesced with tradition and leveraged the strengths, passion and values of the founding family to create the Zero & Co we know today.

1992 a family on the road to success

The ambition and drive of the Vendola brothers set the company on the path to growth.

With the backing of his brothers, Pasquale Vendola is placed at the helm of the company as its sole director.

1994 making baby steps into retail

ownership of the responsibilities of its team of workers, and finds the resources it needs to further the development and plan the future of the Zero & Co. brand.

The company enters into partnership with the Cesare Paciotti fashion house and thus elevates its appeal to customers in the medium-high segment of the industry. This important step greatly enhances the international reputation of the brand, and leads the company to broaden its product range to encompass the full panoply of clothing for children from 0-16 years.

2014 zero+

Zero & Co. launches Pastello, a new company brand that introduces to the international market the company’s principles of delicacy, care and attention to detail in manufacture.

Keen to pursue a multi-channel plan of development, the company seizes on a new business opportunity, namely: Zero+, a multi-brand franchising network.
