Viola Ntsetsao Motsumi held the last day of her Meet and Greet road shows in Mahikeng and was hosted by Curro Academy Mahikeng
The roadshow was not only graced by Kgosi Montshioa, Executive Mayor, Cllr Mphetlho, Ward Councillor Morubane but by a Grade 12 learner, from Redibone Secondary School, in Mahikeng, Musa Mooketsi Mooketsi is the President of the Representative Council of Learners and also the Regional leader of learners. He delivered a powerful keynote address to a hall packed with principals and teachers, highlighting pertinent issues affecting both learner and teacher performance. Meanwhile, MEC Motsumi reiterated the
important role played by principals and teachers in producing better and quality results. The MEC committed to all teachers and principals that she will give them unequivocal support in makingsurethattheyexecute their duties diligently by ensuring that they get the necessary and relevant tools of the trade to do their work properly Motsumi further committed that after the Departmental Lekgotla, they will immediately convene a Departmental Infrastructure Summit to make a proper assessment of Infrastructure backlogs to try and come up with ways to expedite the process of addressing all Infrastructure backlogs as that will enable Educators to carry out their duties in a conduciveenvironment.
