ZEAL is a planning and design consultancy based in Indonesia. Established in May 2015 by two of its founding member, Sandy and Windy. The main services provided cover from visioning and master planning, architecture design, landscape design to interior design. ZEAL believes a multi-disciplinary approach for a holistic design solution. It is a key to innovative design that we passionately exercise within our practice. The team value the collaboration process with different designers, artists, academics, engineers and many other creative entities. The unique approach allows our team to offers solution extending beyond spatial planning. ZEAL core objective lies in the creation and improvement of people place that respect the value of our habitat and environment. Our team continues to grow and build on this very foundation of our practice.
KEY PERSONNEL FRANCISKA WINDY WIDJADJA Windy is an enthusiastic master planner and architect. Her focus lies in the urban design concepts that combined with creative interdisciplinary approach to find better solution on contemporary urban challenges. She has developed a strong analytical, design, and management skill through years of education professional experiences. She has won several awards in architecture and urban planning field. One of them is Jakarta Visioning 2045 competition - A national competition to envision the future of Jakarta. She is also active in architectural organization. Currently she officiate as the Secretary of Indonesian Architecture Organization (Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia) in Singapore.
SANDY PUTRANTO

Sandy is a passionate designer in architecture and urban design field. He’s been working on various projects from detail architectural design to master planning projects of 6000 Ha city. His exposure to international projects by working on Asia, middle east, America and Europe projects and also works in many locations give him a strength of broad knowledge of current trends in various markets. He is a visionary when it comes to developing ideas on how to create a liveable and sustainable place for people to live and enjoy. And his attention to details gives him a better sense to develop those ideas into physical design and create spaces that works. Those would be his two best strength which speaks through a lot of projects he has been working on so far.

The 3.5 Ha development area is planned as a residential cluster. This development has a saleable area of 68% with coverage of 32%. Total GFA is 34,553 m² with overall plot ratio of 1.4. The development concept is based on two residential cluster with internal courtyard as a common space. These two residential clusters are comprised of apartment as higher density housing and landed housing as lower density housing. This strategy help to capture different market segment. Sustainable and environmentally-friendly development is applied as a theme for the development. Different sustainable strategies are being proposed such as roof garden on apartment podium, solar panel application for landed housing and street lighting, as well as building elements and orientation to maximize natural light. This residential is supported by various facilities including clubhouse, playground, jogging track, indoor fitness facility as well as mini market.

CITEUREUP BUSINESS HOTEL (design proposal)

Project site is located close to the exit/entry point of a major highway connecting Jakarta and Bogor. The potential of the site as a stop point for travellers make a prime location for a business hotel. This 13-storeys business hotel is complimented with retail center on the podium, swimming pool, conference facilities and restaurants.

THE CRYSTAL (design proposal)
LOCATION: UNDISCLOSED
Project Size 52,412 m² Project type Mix Use
This Mix Use Superblock comprises of hotel, office, retail and condotel/apartment with total GFA around 52,000 m². The architecture concept derives from the analogy of a crystal. The crystal form creates a dynamic facade and an interesting skyline that breaks the uniform block skyline within the surrounding context. The retail center in the podium offers an outdoor shopping experience with rich visual and physical experience.

RMI OFFICE & WORKSHOP

ZEAL was commisioned by Robo Marine Indonesia in March 2016 to develop architecture design for their new office and workshop.
Project type Architecture Office
Two main building blocks serve as main office and workshop. The main office is placed at the front as more public function whereas the workshop and manufacturing facilities are placed on the back for privacy purposes. The main office welcome visitors with its grand gesture of double height roof. The design also integrates many sustainable strategy such as green roof, biopori, rain water catchment as well as cross ventilation.

THE FUSION AT CILEGON (design proposal)
CILEGON, INDONESIA
Project Size 22 Ha
This is a 22 ha mix use project located at Cilegon area – industrial cities. Eventhough a lot of expatriate work In Cilegon, many of them or their families are living far from Cilegon. This project is intended to accomadate this issue.

PEMALANG, CENTRAL JAVA INDONESIA

GRAND MOSQUE PEMALANG (national competition entry)
Pemalang government organized a national competition to gather ideas for the grand mosque for the city. The design proposed here tried to reinterprete a traditional central java architecture with its stilt structure and half-pyramid roof into a more contemporary style. The overall massing layout were separated to create a clear hierrachy of different function as well as creating more breathing space in this dense urban context. Islamic calligraphy art were also reinterprete and applied to the facade elements.

LUZHOU LIFESTYLE CENTER (design proposal)

Luzhou Lifestyle Center is located in Luzhou city, southeast of Sichuan Province, China. The rapid economic growth of the city offers many opportunities for branded retail and new lifestyle offering for the residents. The Luzhou Lifestyle Center is designed as a one stop commercial hub in the city as well as a new retail destination. The combined both of outdoor and indoor retail spaces bring a vibrant shopping experience. This 35,000 m² retail is complemented with one apartment tower of 6,500 m² as well as around 20,000 m² of office mix hotel tower.

TAVISAMIRA RESORT
PASUT TABANAN, BALI INDONESIA

The project is located in Tabanan regency of Bali, Indonesia. The site has a dimension of 44 x 300 m, which makes the site a very elongated shape facing towards Pasut beach. Emphasizing the view axis The design concept is trying to emphasize the axis towards the beach area. But in order to break the monotonous visual experience, an iconic lobby is placed in the middle of the site. The lobby is slightly raised up to create a visual surprise to the second part of the site facing the beach. The lobby also serves as functional separator between the smaller villa area with vehicle access and the bigger villa area dedicated only for pedestrian. One-stop Resort The resort itself is targeted for honeymoon couple as well as small family. It is supported by facilities such as restaurant, lobby and common area, spa, open bar, swimming pool as well as outdoor event venue.
