Long before there was a word for time, there was the Dreaming Sea.

And from this Dreaming Sea, Mother Aria drew her first breath.

From her exhale came The Song.

Then, in the darkness came Father Book, carrying the Tome, a safe-keep containing all the words that will ever come to be.

Drawn to The Song, Father Book travelled to it’s source. He pulled the first word from the Tome.

It was the word Love.

The light from this word gave form to Mother-Aria.

There were also hints of a world hidden in the darkness.

Flowers bloomed all around. They were an expression of Mother Aria and Father Book’s story of love and creation.

Their love gave birth to the Choir, children of both Song and Words.

Mother-Aria asked Father Book to teach the Choir to sing their stories and bring forth the hidden world— with one condition.

She asked him to leave a portion of the Dreaming Sea unnamed to preserve mystery. It’s within these mysteries where the Choir could still dream.

Father Book agreed. As a token of his promise, he plucked a flower from the ground, and named it.

But when the sun rose for the first time, it forced Mother Aria and the Dreaming Sea away from the light of day, leaving Father Book and the Choir in the Waking World.

Father Book was devastated to learn that by leaving the mysteries unnamed, there would always be two worlds, The Waking World of words, and The Dreaming Sea of the song.

Mother Aria and Father Book discovered that they could only reunite for a brief moment when the flower bloomed during a blood moon.

Love soon turned into obsession as Father Book longed to keep Mother Aria by his side. He believed that if he named all of The Dreaming Sea, they would no longer need to be apart.

Upon one nightfall, Father Book and the Choir began to purge The Dreaming Sea of its mysteries.

But the further The Dreaming Sea receded...

so to did Mother Aria fade from their hearts and thoughts.

Night no longer fell upon the Waking World and the Choir no longer dreamed.

As Father Book broke his promise the flower tore in half.

One half bloomed in the Waking World...

... and the other half bloomed in the Dreaming Sea.

The Night Bloom...

and Day Bloom...

waiting to be reunited.
