MOSQUE year|2nd year, 2014 location|airport road, Amman, Jordan aim of the project|design a mosque for a nearby residential area with an additional facility that serves the neighbourhood concept|recreating the old islamic mosque: a mosque with a market. The form is generated from the direction of the qibla. The market unit is used as a unifying module for all facilities

paying homage to its significance, location and history, through architectural interventions and programme - introduce the 21st century library as the 3rd place , an institution no longer limited to books. - continue and preserve the cultural loop of the municipality library, roman theatre and hashemite plaza - use the library as a link between mountain and valley, old and new, east and west, providing a platform for interaction and conversation - include the neighbourhood community by providing them with services they need

the library targets the neighbourhood and its students in elementary and secondary schools, by providing them with a place to meet and interact outside of the school’s environment

MATERIAL EXPERIMENTING

year|exchange year in Germany, 2016 aim of the project|create an every-day object using two different materials through experimentation concept|upcycling: giving dead leaves another life by combing them with gypsum to create a fruit bowl materials

final product final product made by arranging leaves at the bottom of the model bowl (1) then pouring gypsum on top of them (2) allowing the material to seep through the creases between leaves. the gypsum was then pressed with another bowl (3) to produce the final form and left to air-dry

the school complex, in addtion to the outdoor seating for the playground - producing construction plans for different stages of execution, in coordination with the contractor, the marchanical, electrical, and landscape teams - prepare facade proposals and technical drawings for plans and sections *all drawings courtesy of wulf architekten

ZAATARI REFUGEE CAMP REFURBISHMENT year|3rd year, 2015 location|UN Women Oasis, Zaatari refugee camp, Al-Mafraq, Jordan description|a collaboration between UN Women and the German Jordanian Uni-

versity with the supervision of Dr. Rami Daher to refurbish the UN Women Oases in Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan aim of the project|The project included making landscape for the oases, redesign the trash cans, as well as paint the caravans The project lasted 6 months, and implementation was done by the team of students and designers, with the help of the children and women of the camp
