Zachary’s “Leadership North” Supports Bust Out Breast Cancer

In support of the Woman’s Hospital “Bust Out Breast Cancer” campaign, the Zachary Chamber of Commerce Leadership North Group is selling “United We Fight” t-shirts to all Zachary businesses and schools, including both staff and students, for Pink Out Days in October.

All of the schools have agreed on October 18 as their Pink Out day, and Mayor David McDavid has designated October 24 for the City of Zachary.

All proceeds from the shirt will go to the Woman’s Hospital Foundation to help those battling breast cancer and to support survivors.

The Woman’s Hospital Foundation “provides women in 34 parishes with convenient access to life-saving mammograms through Woman’s mammography coaches, as well as state of the art cancer diagnosis technology and equipment, care coordination for women with cancer, and financial assistance for cancer medications, transportation, and basic needs, as well as survivorship programs including rehabilitation, wellness services, and support groups.”

The last day to purchase the shirts is September 6.

As the cost is $25 each, plus a flat fee for shipping, Leadership North suggests that school, business, and city employees visit https://shorturl. at/3BE2r and order the shirts in groups.
