DECISION on the Appointment to a Scientific Tifle Dr. sc. ZfUfO UVANOVIC, associate professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Scienc_es, Josip J_uraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, has been appointed to the scientific title of a Scientific Advisor in the Scientific Area of Humanities -.scientific Field of Philology.

Explanation According

to the Articles 35 and 95 of the Act on Scientific Activities and Higher

Education the applicant entered the competition announced by the Faculty of Human-ities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, for the appointment to a scientificteaching title.

3 of the Act on Scientific Activities and Higher Education, the Scientific Field Committee conducts the procedure of the appointment to a scientific title.

Based upon Article 95 Paragraph

Upon recommendation of the Expert Committee appointed on March 27, 2013 at the meeting of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, which provided its opinion on the applicant's compliance with the conditions stated in the Ordinance on Conditions for Appointment to Scientific Titles - Article 1 Point 6 Humanities (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia No. 84/05), the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, at its meeting held on July 03,2013, established that the applicant fulfills all the requirements for the appointment to the scientific title of a Scientific Advisor in the Scientific Area of Humanities - Scientific Field of Philology.

The Scientific Field Committee, at its 3'd meeting held on October 09,2013, accepted the recommendation of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, and therefore appointed the applicant to the scientific title of a Scientific Advisor.

LEGAL REMEDY: The applicant has no right

to appeal against the Decision

on

Appointment to a Scientific Title, but he can lodge an administrative dispute.
