ACCOMODATION IN A VINEYARD
Desing Studio II | 4th semester | Individual Project
The lodge is located in Los Pedrones, a small town of Requena, in the rural Spain.
Consists on a closed and heavy cube that creates spaces opening to the canopy of trees and vineyards. This is why at the very entrance of the hotel the first thing you see is the beautiful landscape. The main attract of this hotel are the large common spaces which offer great views of the vineyards and forest.
The building is embedded in the landscape by taking advantage of the level curves of the valley.
Superblocks are an innovative urban planning concept that reimagines the design and functionality of city neighborhoods to foster community, sustainability, and livability.
The central idea is to return urban spaces to the people, creating environments that encourage social interaction, active lifestyles, and a stronger sense of community, by following a “closed” configuration towards the rest of the city that drastically reduces vehicular traffic within the superblock, leading to quieter, safer, and cleaner streets.
The regular internal division of the plot’s urban design confers a total of six areas which are solved by the superblock concept. They take another perspective to what living in community represents, and relates to the city in an introverted way, offering its value and elements to the neighbourhood. Among these, the superblock enhances improved public health, urban mobility by the efficient use of space together with the priority of walkability, social and cultural vibrancy highlighting its inclusivity and activities optimatization, all these leading to a sustainable environment.

RESIDENCE IN A CITY NEIGHBOURHOOD
Desing Studio III | 6th semester | Individual Project
The project consists on a space where people are going to stay temporarily.
The program contains public facilities for the neighbourhood (a gym, library and cafeteria) located on the ground floor, leaving the rest for private use.
The typology of the bedrooms is organized into four individual rooms with a bathroom each, sharing an small kitchen and a place to relax. In this way,groups of people such as families enjoy privacy by not being together in the same space.
The attraction factor of the project is its façade, with the symbolic lattice, use to prevent sunlight and heat and to give privacy to the clients.

Since I was little, a part of me has always been in touch with my artistic side, shaping who I am today. Sketching and drawing are one of my passions and help me to project my ideas and designs.
