Project Goals

All my work from the Sustainable Technology module has consistently applied by philosophy on achieving a sustainable landscape which is through the research and use of native British planting communities. I aim to create interaction between habitat spaces with vegetation and built structures to compliment this intent. I also try embracing the local conditions design and for planting and human structures to tolerate or adapt to these conditions. All my projects are with the intent to be low maintenance and allowing the vegetation to naturally spread to achieve a successful naturalised planting scheme. The paving circulation tends to weave around proposed natural features. Part of sustainability in addition to the environment is the social sustainability. Adding human features and creating an interest leads into the goal of sustainability.
