Sheoo Choi is a rising 4th grader at Bullis Charter School. It has been more than three years since she started learning how to play the piano, and she has been really enjoying it. She loves drawing, swimming, and reading books.
Sheon Choi is a rising 1st grader at Bullis Charter School. He loves music and playing the piano. He also likes Taekwondo and Minecraft!
Sarafina Fung is a rising 8th grader at Harker Middle School. She has been playing piano for about 8 years and is also learning to play the flute. She enjoys drawing, reading, running, listening to K-Pop, hanging out with her friends, and playing games with her brother.
Tiberias Fung is a rising 5th grader at Harker Lower School and has started playing piano recently. He loves to play Roblox, build with Legos, and do track and field. This is his first piano performance, and he is excited to do it.
Yueun Hong is a rising junior at Henry M Gunn High School She has studied music with teacher Youson Park for 7 years and currently studies at the precollege San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Yueun has won many awards for various competitions and made her Carnegie Hall debut this summer. In her free time, she enjoys baking and playing with her dog
Eleanor (Yejin) Kang, 6 years old and soon-to-be 1st grader at Hoover Elementary School, started learning piano this year and quickly fell in love with the instrument. She enjoys playing simple classical tunes and joyful nursery rhymes that she loves sharing with family and friends. Beyond piano, Eleanor loves reading, coloring, and engaging in creative activities, with a special interest in origami and chess.
Doyoon Kim is a rising junior at Henry M. Gunn High School. She has been playing piano for about 10 years, and 5 years under the instruction of Youson Park. She has received State Honors in CM Advanced as well as valuable prizes in numerous piano competitions, including the Silicon Valley Music Competition 2023, the United States Open Music Competition 2023, the Berlioz International Music Competition 2024, the American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition 2024, and first prize in the Charleston International Music Competition 2024. Along with piano, she has been playing French horn for 5 years. Doyoon has been selected for the CASMEC All-State Symphonic Band in 2024. She was the first horn in SJSU Honor Symphonic band 2024 and currently is a part of Gunn High School's wind ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. In her free time, Doyoon enjoys watching Netflix and hanging out with friends.
Ian Kim, age 17, is currently a Junior at Saratoga High School. He has been actively playing the double bass for 8 years and studies under the guidance of Bruce Moyer. Ian is currently the principal bass player of the Saratoga High School Symphony Orchestra and Saratoga Strings. Besides from school, he participates in numerous ensembles and orchestras such as the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, KAMSA orchestra, and more, all of which he has also earned the principal position in. As a freshman, Ian was able to achieve the title of principal player for the California All State Symphony High School Orchestra and has won the Saratoga High School Concerto Competition. Additionally, he will be participating in the NYO2 orchestra this summer alongside peers. In his free time, Ian enjoys watching movies and playing volleyball with his friends.
Jaeyoon Kim is a rising 9th grader at Gunn High School who is passionate about music. He started playing piano when he was in first grade. He now also enjoys practicing multiple different percussion instruments. In his free time, he likes to make or listen to music and play video games.

Lia is a rising 1st grader at Herbert Hoover Elementary School. She has been playing the piano for 10 months. Lia likes crafting, doing ballet, and wearing cute dresses. This is her first performance, and she enjoyed the recording a lot, especially because of the dress.
Hi, my name is Musong Kim and I'm going to play Mozart Sonata in C Major, K.545 and Chopin Waltz Op.Posth. in A-flat. I won Honor Circle in Silicon Valley Music Competition in 2021 and 2023 Other than piano, I do Taekwondo. I went to a lot of Taekwondo competitions such as state. During my free time I like to play with my younger sister, read a book, or build Lego.
Ryan is a rising 2nd grader at Herbert Hoover Elementary School. He has been playing the piano for almost three years. He loves playing soccer and exploring nature. He used to have pets, including a blue crayfish, a leopard gecko, and a bearded dragon.
Yubin Kim is a rising freshman at Torrey Pines High School and has been playing the piano for 7 years. In her free time, she likes spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and swimming.
Chaeah is six years old and is going into the first grade at Blue Hills Elementary School this August She started learning how to play the piano in March and has been enjoying it She is willing to become good at playing the piano. She also likes to draw, sing, and play with her sister. She is happy to perform.

She loves reading, art, and playing with friends She is also happy to finally enter the last year of elementary school. Furthermore, she is enthusiastic to show her piano pieces in this year’s recital. She hopes you enjoy the recital, and have a great summer.
Shinbi Lee, 14, is an incoming 9th grader at OCSA. She started playing piano around kindergarten. Other than piano, Shinbi loves swimming, creative writing, listening to music, and traveling. She has won honorable mentions in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for her writing and has been part of a competitive swim team for four years. Two examples of the music artists Shinbi often listens to are wave to earth and Newjeans. Shinbi also loves trying new foods – especially when she travels to different places. Plus, Shinbi has a fondness for animals and took horseback riding lessons a few years ago. When she has time, she has fun by spending time with her friends and family.
Daniel Shin is a rising 7th grader at Jane Lathrop Stanford middle school. He loves exploring musical instruments, including the piano, violin, trumpet, and kalimba, because they are fascinating and fun to play. Daniel also enjoys diving into science experiments, creating art, reading science books, and cooking. His wide range of interests keeps him busy and makes him a well-rounded and curious individual.
Katherine Shin, a soon-to-be first grader at Palo Verde Elementary School, loves practicing the piano with her teacher, Mrs. Park. Alongside her passion for music, Katherine enjoys a variety of activities including drawing, baking, swimming, gymnastics, playing board games, and reading. She is excited to share her love of piano with you today.
Logan Shin, a rising fifth grader at Palo Verde Elementary School, has been learning piano for four years. He loves playing because of the joy and sense of accomplishment he feels when performing his favorite pieces. He enjoys a variety of activities. He’s an avid reader, especially of realistic fiction, and is particularly fond of Nathan Hale’s Hazardous Tales. He also loves swimming, drawing, and constructing paper creations. Logan’s diverse interests and talents make him a delight both on and off the stage.
