On May 21, 2024, the City Council selected a winning design concept for the new City Welcome signs. The winning concept will continue forward to final design, fabrication, and installation.

Community Development Block Grant
CDBG is a federal initiative, managed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Yuba City utilizes these grants to enhance neighborhoods, support economic development, and improve community facilities and services.
2024 Project List includes: Yuba Sutter Food Bank Delivery Park Equipment Replacement Sutter-Yuba Homeless Consortium Casa de Esperanza Ramp Replacement Playzeum Play-for-all Initiative
The 2024 CDBG Action Plan was approved by City Council, and has been submitted to HUD for final approval.

INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS.
Barry Elementary School Water Line Extension: Grant funded extension of City water infrastructure to service Barry Elementary School with high quality water New line shown on the map below in yellow.
Harter Parkway Wastewater Line Extension: Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) funded grant of $1 35 million for a 956 foot wastewater pipeline on Harter Parkway Construction estimated to begin Fall 2024
