01 -Pool“Pool Complex”

The way that this pool complex is designed welcomes all people. There is a space for an athletic pool, a leisure pool, and a private pool. The athletic and leisure pool takes up space on the complex's first floor. And the second floor of the complex is called a private pool. As we know, there are some religious people who follow up the religion's rules. Since this pool complex welcomes all cultures and all races, it would be nice for the pool to take a shape of all of the people’s ideologies. This pool is for women who want to have privacy when they enjoy the pool. In this pool, disabled people can circulate around the pool easily and access the pool with the help of the ramps.

02 -Edges“Apartment Design”

This project locates at Austin downtown 8th steet. The main purpose is to provide people ”easy accessapartment.” This apartment has a lot of gathering places on the edges. In this design, I have improved the idea of “plants & architecture” Also, this apartment solves the less apartments issue in downtown.

‘Residency”

There are many live musicians in Austin. Since Austin is a “Tourist” city, we have a lot of musical events regularly. Therefore, I decided to design a residency for musicians, where they can practice their music and spend time with their peers. On the other hand, this residency is built for the public, we have a performance hall inside, so people can come and join “mini” concerts.

‘Public Place”

In my design process, I have thought about the movement because people should move around easily in a building. I have used a lot of geometrical shapes to support my idea and also I have used couples of stairs. Since the inside of the building is very narrow, I have used openings to help people to change their locations easily. The most important thing on my building is a small place on the terrace. That place is for people to sit and relax

“Art Gallery”

This design is based on specific objects because I researched about Donald Judd and I understood that Donald Judd likes to work on specific objects. What does specific objects mean? It means geometric objects. There might be only one geometric object which would be enough to explain the purpose of design by itself, or there might be a couple of geometrical shapes which would explain the flow of architecture and meaning of it. That's how I worked this project.

Donald Judd says that "It isn't necessary for a work to have a lot of things to look at, to compare, to analyze one by one, to contemplate. The thing as a whole, its quality whole, is what is interesting. The main things are alone and are more intense, clear and powerful."
