Without complete demolition of the building, YSM transformed a classic 90’s style Jaguar Land Rover store into a modern, brand compliant facility. The completed work was so impressive that a customer who visited the store requested that we design their new medical office building.

Taking into consideration the unpredictability of working with an older building, YSM intuitively made many upgrades to the shell of the building to ensure that Miami Dade County hurricane requirements were met. We also retrofitted an elevator to the building.

This project involved moving an existing Audi store into an existing Mazda store while keeping the shop and parts volume intact. Each new space connected with a rectilinear and an elegant single loaded stair in an oversized opening to allow more light and visual connectivity in between.

This hypercar manufacturer does not currently have a facility brand identity. We took cues from the car design itself and implemented those ideas interactively and architecturally. This space can also be used to host gatherings for the rest of the complex with brands like McLaren, Lamborghini, RollsRoyce, Lotus, and Aston Martin.

Due to a site with unforgiving terrain, the front face of the existing showroom sat at a roughly 25-degree angle to the rest of the building. It was our job to essentially “bend” everything inside of the building to accommodate this unusual circumstance.

With an elevated highway in front of the dealership, we adjusted the building height to ensure that potential customers can see the building while passing by. Due to the unprecedented nature of this challenge, this building became a new standard for the Fiat Chrysler brand image.

This is the top selling Maserati dealership in the nation. This project stands tall atop a plateau over looking the city of Yorba Linda, California. This site has been maximized with a 18 race paddick style service bays. Freeway frontage showroom and an automated inventory 5 level 80 car storage system.

This is a component of the existing Porsche HQ + racetrack in Atlanta. All track cars will be serviced at this state of the art facility. We worked closely with Porsche USA & Germany to implement the GEN 5 Standards to create a sleek showcase.

A highlight of this facility is how the clean lines and simple design of the exterior façade combined effortlessly with the well-proportioned two-story showroom. We integrated the interior design lines into the hardscape creating a visual connection from the moment customers set foot onto the lot.

With our unique experience in brand implementation, we modified key elements in the design to present a new method for applying Honda’s corporate image. This project was selected by Honda USA as the best USA Honda store in 2018 and became the official flagship store of the U.S.

YSM had the opportunity to renovate the No.1 Honda dealership in the world. This flagship dealership totals 45,000 sq. ft. and acts as the distinctive anchor store of the Cerritos Auto Square. This multi elevation dealership boasts a standalone finance building where hundreds of cars are sold everyday.

YSM was able to satisfy strict fire compartmentalization requirements while designing the open and spacious showroom Audi required on this outstanding project in South Orlando.

With this project, YSM impacted the area’s urban landscape by bringing the showroom forward and expanding it into two stories. We created a visual connection between the service entrance and the showroom that articulated the wavy metal ceilings in the service drive.

In this 2-level showroom, we combined 6 buildings into 3 highly functional zones. However, the biggest challenge was the site consisted of rocks. We integrated the building into the site in such a way where we saved the client $500k in site work and blasting.

Our retail studio is comprehensive and collaborative, and while we are large enough to execute the nationwide rollout of national clients such as BMW, T Mobile, Mohawk Industries, Dal-Tile and Philipp Plein, we maintain a boutique mindset.

Acting as the official image architect for BMW North America in 2014, YSM Design led the national roll out of over 100 dealerships, responsible for the architectural implementation and adaptation of the brand’s new image. By performing over 100 nationwide surveys as well as a gap analysis program, YSM was able to present dealers with the image compliance requirements necessary to update each location within 90 days. Design updates included providing additional showroom space to accommodate the new i line, BMW’s electric hybrid model.

YSM Design led the rollout of 10 national MINI dealerships, creating a new and current corporate image for the brand. Embodying the brand’s modern ethos, the new dealerships feature sleek materials, an emphasis on lighting, and dramatic, floor to ceiling glass windows.

YSM Design led the roll out of 200 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealerships nationwide, creating the brand’s new architectural elements and guidelines. By providing design intent documents and templates for renovation, each individual owner and architectural team had a clear and concise framework as expert guidance. Additional services included the roll out of the new Jeep image on select dealerships.
