Why Lady Niguma?

Lady Niguma lived about 1000 years ago in India. Her yoga is one of the oldest written records of the asanas and the only asana series designed by a woman in ancient times that we have been able to find.

Lady Niguma’s yoga is special. She goes through all of the difficult emotions that exist in the human heart and then prescribes certain poses for

each one. Each bend, each twist, each bandha has a specific purpose for the heart, mind, and spirit.

Her yoga also has a special order in the sequencing of the asanas going up the chakras and having a powerful effect on the body and prana, changing us very quickly in the process.

L ADY NIGUM A LEVEL 1 FOUNDATION COURSE & MASTER China The Lady Niguma Level 1 Heart of Gold training went international for a 4 day fiesta that was very heartfelt and community driven and featured some great music and a surprising amount of dance! Daily asana, contemplations, the brilliant story of Lady Niguma’s life, and some profound philosophy classes were interspersed with discussion groups that led into a vibrant

discord community. This platform was great for ongoing debates on the lessons and discussion about how to integrate the teachings into daily life. This too fed into an ongoing community of support that participated in the 30 day Wisdom in Action Challenge. We are excited to continue with this community in other ongoing courses.

At the conclusion of our third level 1 training in China with our amazing partner Raw Diamonds, we held our first Level 1 Master Class. This 6 day intensive takes the “raw material” from the Heart of Gold foundation training and focuses on a deeper integration of the practices while providing opportunities for teaching experiences and peer to peer feedback. This training incorporated daily pranayama classes into the mix, and as well focused on proper

alignment in the poses. After absorbing this material and experiences for 4 days, students took a one day “circle day” or mini retreat, where they forged this knowledge into their own personalized program. Leaving this one day of silence students shared their experiences and plans for how they would take these teachings out into the world, both personally and professionally.

L ADY NIGUMA LEVEL 1 International LN-F1 took place during 2 weekends in the month of February 2021. Students from US, Latin America and Europe joined our classes creating a strong community sense and amazing interaction, showing us that despite the distance and the screens the teachings can transcend barriers and we can support each other during our learning processes.

The Lady Nigumers enjoyed every second of the practice and have demonstrated they hold true hearts of gold!

H EART YOGA WIT H IVA KULIC Heart Yoga is a unique and ancient practice that combines yoga poses with meditation and visualization to bring about a transformation of the heart. It emphasizes the meditative and spiritual aspects of yoga as being of equal importance as the postures.

MERID IAN YOGA WIT H TANIA NU ÑEZ Meridian Yoga blends asana practice with meridian activation via the meridian pathways, their related seasons, organs and emotions.

The Meridians are pathways much like the nadis in yoga, a body map with specific points that we can access to move, release or stimulate Qi or Prana. Be prepared for a mindful vinyasa style yoga practice where you will also work on some longer holds with self acupressure techniques for a practice that is both recharging, therapeutic and educational.
