Talking of good news, with overseas buyers purchasing €6.45bn worth of Spanish real estate in 2013 – reaching levels not seen for nine years – a report just published by the General Council of Spanish Notaries, has found that sales of residential properties in Spain were up by a massive 45 per cent in the first quarter of 2014 and further evidence of increasing demand. So it’s no surprise that eminent economists and analysts, who typically err on the side of caution, are talking about a ‘Spanish Spring’ for the country’s property market.

Son cifras que no se habían visto en 9 años y según un informe del Consejo General del Notariado la venta de propiedades residenciales en España se ha incrementado un 45% en el primer trimestre de 2014, una prueba más de la creciente demanda. No resulta extraño que eminentes economistas y analistas hablen de una “primavera española” en el mercado inmobiliario, cuando normalmente se guardan de hacer previsiones optimistas.
