On the road to following God’s rules and living your life in accordance with His Word, you’ll have to work at it and develop patience. 20.) Dr. D Ivan Young The Relationship Expert

“For years, I have worked with a wide variety of people one-on-one, in groups, in front of large and intimate audiences, on television and radio, helping them face, and overcome their fears, while giving them the tools they need to make radical changes, to improve their lives, and to create a solid rewarding future. I continue to do this work every day… There is a strong hunger in the world for the rewards of a lasting, soulsatisfying relationship—but how do we find the right person, create that sacred bond, and make it last? The first step toward developing a good relationship with anyone else begins with knowing, and understanding all aspects of yourself. You may have charisma, and a good personality, but if you don’t know how to use what you’ve got, or how to effectively communicate with others, you’re doomed. The second step is learning how to put toxic relationships behind us, and step away from those unproductive mindsets that hold us back, and keep us down. My practice is dedicated to helping people utilize their natural talents, and unearthing their hidden gifts, while teaching them how to use both effectively. Understanding your purpose, and being informed, focused, and aware, is the key to being happy and successful, not to mention furthering lasting, productive, meaningful relationships with the people that matter most. My practice, lectures, workshops, books, relaxation and meditation cd’s, are designed to give my clients the tools they need to transform themselves, and their lives. My books, Another Chance...Where would you be without one!, and Break Up—Don’t Break Down, continue to be received by readers with the same gratitude and enthusiasm that I experience from people that I work with every day. Put simply, people are sick and tired of being sick and tired, when they decide to quit settling for less than they deserve and are ready to move forward, they call Dr. D Ivan Young. The time-tested, easy-to-practice, techniques, and principles I teach have been proven effective for everyone, regardless of gender, race, nationality, religion, or level of education. Like the best coaches in any field, my approach is simple and direct, encouraging but provocative, hopeful but directive. Above all, it inspires positive change by providing all the tools necessary to make change happen.” “All of us are tired of settling for less than we deserve in in life, and in relationships. Ending up on the wrong side of love - the broken hearted, used side, gets old really quick. Taking the first step toward finding happiness, and true love, that starts with you loving you.”

Dr. Young holds a Doctor 0f Philosophy, PhD, specializing in Holistic Life Coaching, along with a Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Metaphysics. He is a best selling author, exceptional relationship expert, and entertaining motivational speaker. Many men, and women have said speaking to him is like talking with your uncle, friend or brother that you would go to for advice in times of trouble. The difference is Dr. Young has the wisdom, education, training and experience to offer you sound guidance. When you need answers to questions you didn’t know to ask, ask an expert - The Relationship Expert, Dr. D Ivan Young.

24.) Rudy Rasmus, Tina Knowles and Juanita Rasmus - “Every day people like you and I simply decide to Miss A Meal and then donate the money that we would have spent on that meal to feed someone less fortunate. Visit www.missameal.net for more information or to donate. Mission: The mission of Miss A Meal is to support the efforts of dynamic non-profits that meet the needs of the hungry in turn helping them to feed more people. Company Overview: One in six American families go hungry as a result of economic down times, underemployment, and unemployment. The Miss A Meal movement partners with non-profits that are instrumental in meeting the needs of the hungry by providing for those who aren’t sure of where their next meal will come from. As the movement grows we seek viable partners around the nation and the globe to support. With a nominal cost of $1.00 per person to provide a well balanced meal, Miss A Meal supporters will be able to provide multiple meals through a single donation. Miss A Meal was inspired by the simple premise that one person has the power to help many. It Only Takes One Plate! Description: Miss A Meal is a fundraising campaign designed to meet the needs of the hungry by encouraging everyday people to miss a meal and in turn donate the money that they would have spent. The donation is then used to feed those who are less fortunate. Donations can be made online at www.missameal.net or via text message.”

31.) Don’t give Up, Don’t give In, for my GOD is not through blessing U!

By Lisa “Ladyle” Ricardo of Love on the Line Ministry

Don’t give up on your Marriage, your Relationship, your Child, your Family, your Dream, your Vision, your Business, or your Health. Get a Rock. You may say, Ladyle what’s a rock. Your rock is the Word of GOD, so when the enemy comes, say it is written: My Family, Marriage, Business, Health, Child shall LIVE and not die in Jesus name. Amen Don’t give into the lies of the enemy, critics, or haters that “you’ll never make it, you’re not qualified, no one in your family has ever done this, you’re too old, or it’s too late.” Silence the second voice, obey GOD and move forward. Say, I’m GOD’s masterpiece. Tell the devil, I’m not going to Give Up, I’m not going to Give In — because He who has begun a good work In me WILL perform “IT” unto the day of Jesus Christ. So, I will not stagger, but I’m fully persuaded in whom I believe… You meant it for evil (the rejection, lies, deception) but GOD meant “IT” for my good. (Genesis 50:20) The rejection was a form of God’s direction. God wouldn’t have allowed it if you we’re not able to conqueror it. So Go forth and conquer “IT”. He has too much invested in you… Oh Yeah, You have a “Blood Covenant” with the Father. Stand, Wage War, and after you’ve done all you can…STAND! It’s in U to conqueror this. Tell the enemy, After THIS there will be Glory!

7) Vivian Martin - “I decree and declare that 2013 Will be The Greatest Year Ever. The things that distracted you, hindered you and tried to keep you from progressing has been bound in the spirit. God is doing a “New Thing” in the lives of His people...Eyes have not seen, neither have ears heard, the good things God is about to do in your life. No holds barred, for me, I shall come forth as “Pure Gold”, in Jesus name. ITS OUR TIME!!!”

7 8) Carla D. Lewis - Church works and religious acts do not replace spending personal time with God. Have you ever found yourself so busy working for God that you neglect to spend time with God? It can be easy to be deceived into thinking that doing religious works is just as good as spending personal time with God. However, you will not grow spiritually if you don’t spend time with God. Good works will not get you into Heaven; you must have a personal relationship with Jesus. In Matthew 7:22-23, Jesus said, concerning Judgement Day, “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” Those people thought that because they did good things in the name of Jesus they could get into Heaven. Instead, Jesus surprised them by saying, “I never knew you.” Therefore, don’t get so caught up in your good works that you forget to know God. Make it your goal to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33). If all of your good works have made you so busy that you don’t spend any time with God, then those good works have become bad works, because they are replacing your time with God.

9) D. Ivan Young - “By choosing to develop a profound understanding of a handful of these laws, you will unlock untapped, hidden powers that will bring immediate transformation to your life. To do this requires a deeper understanding of the cause-and-effect manner in which Universal Laws work. Once understood, these laws work consistently, effortlessly, and flawlessly in all environments. That includes where you work, live and play. Now before you jump the gun, there are a few rules you must remember. These rules work in the divine and spiritual arena first. What that means is that you must first measure your results by moments, not minutes. Next, these things won’t take place in a few seconds, they happen in the appropriate season. Lastly, faith must be connected to works that are saturated in divine purpose in order for Universal Laws to work on your behalf. A sign that you’re out of harmony with these laws is when frustration and discord is present. This leads me to my next point. Universal Laws never work for fools. It is pre-ordained that you do the right things, at the right time, for the right reasons, for these laws to work for you; or negative Karma will be inescapable. In other words, if your motives are self-centered, based upon greed, or done in a spirit of lust or anger, you are playing with spiritual fire, and proceeding in such a manner will get your butt incinerated. The laws do allow, however, for you to fix broken areas of your life. They even allow you to be selfish as long as selfishness involves improving the content of your character and the quality of your life. As I said before, these laws are here to

help, not hinder you. To this end you can quickly see that if you use them to build, you’re quickly rewarded.” from ANOTHER CHANCE...Where Would You Be Without One! by Dr. D Ivan Young. There ARE guarantees in life. The trick is knowing what to put your confidence in, and when and how to make those covenants work for you. Isn’t it about time you tapped into the source. There’s no better moment than right now. Connect with what God deposited in you.”

Partner with a home town legal team who understands Galveston County and possesses local knowledge to improve your claim. We will determine if you meet BP’s criteria for recovery, so let’s get started today!

A Few thoughts from President Obama’s State of the Union Address

THE PRESIDENT: Mr. Speaker, Mr. Vice President, members of Congress, fellow citizens: Fifty-one years ago, John F. Kennedy declared to this chamber that “the Constitution makes us not rivals for power but partners for progress.” (Applause.) “It is my task,” he said, “to report the State of the Union — to improve it is the task of us all.” ...Tonight, thanks to the grit and determination of the American people, there is much progress to report. After a decade of grinding war, our brave men and women in uniform are coming home. (Applause.) After years of grueling recession, our businesses have created over six million new jobs. We buy more American cars than we have in five years, and less foreign oil than we have in 20. (Applause.) Our housing market is healing, our stock market is rebounding, and consumers, patients, and homeowners enjoy stronger protections than ever before. (Applause.) ...So, together, we have cleared away the rubble of crisis, and we can say with renewed confidence that the State of our Union is stronger. (Applause.) ...It is our generation’s task, then, to reignite the true engine of America’s economic growth — a rising, thriving middle class. (Applause.) ...It is our unfinished task to restore the basic bargain that built this country — the idea that if you work hard and meet your responsibilities, you can get ahead, no matter where you come from, no matter what you look like, or who you love. ...It is our unfinished task to make sure that this government works on behalf of the many, and not just the few; that it encourages free enterprise, rewards individual initiative, and opens the doors of opportunity to every child across this great nation. (Applause.) ...Our work must begin by making some basic decisions about our budget — decisions that will have a huge impact on the strength of our recovery. ...Over the last few years, both parties have worked together to reduce the deficit by more than $2.5 trillion — mostly through spending cuts, but also by raising tax rates on the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans. As a result, we are more than halfway towards the goal of $4 trillion in deficit reduction that economists say we need to stabilize our finances. ...Our economy is stronger when we harness the talents and ingenuity of striving, hopeful immigrants. (Applause.) And right now, leaders from the business, labor, law enforcement, faith communities — they all agree that the time has come to pass comprehensive immigration reform. (Applause.) Now is the time to do it. Now is the time to get it done. Now is the time to get it done. (Applause.) ...Let’s offer incentives to companies that hire Americans who’ve got what it takes to fill that job opening, but have been out of work so long that no one will give them a chance anymore. Let’s put people back to work rebuilding vacant homes in run-down neighborhoods. And this year, my administration will begin to partner with 20 of the hardest-hit towns in America to get these communities back on their feet. We’ll work with local leaders to target resources at public safety, and education, and housing. ...We’ll give new tax credits to businesses that hire and invest. And we’ll work to strengthen families by removing the financial deterrents to marriage for low-income couples, and do more to encourage fatherhood — because what makes you a man isn’t the ability to conceive a child; it’s having the courage to raise one. And we want to encourage that. We want to help that. (Applause.) ...Stronger families. Stronger communities. A stronger America. It is this kind of prosperity — broad, shared, built on a thriving middle class — that has always been the source of our progress at home. It’s also the foundation of our power and influence throughout the world. ...Tonight, we stand united in saluting the troops and civilians who sacrifice every day to

As a result of her tireless efforts as president and CEO of Neighborhood Centers Inc., Blanchard has extended this community development framework throughout the Houston region to impact over 340,000 people a year. Under Angela’s vision and leadership, Neighborhood Centers remains the largest non-profit in Texas and is ranked in the top 1% of charitable groups in the nation.

Unless you are a business owner or own a significant amount of assets, you probably will only ever need an attorney in the case of an emergency. In an emergency situation, you as the client are in a highly vulnerable position and therefore are susceptible to being taken. I have solved

books to compile a list. After creating a list of prospective attorneys, you should you read their profiles at the Texas Bar website located at www.texasbar.com. On the Texas Bar website you will be able to find the bare minimum about your prospects. The website will tell you whether or not the attorney is in good standing, how long he or she has been in practice, and

whether or not he or she has ever been disciplined. You will want to be weary of any attorney that has been disciplined by the bar. What should I say when I call my prospective attorney? When calling an attorney for the first time you should be ready to present your issue in an easy to understand manner. Never start with: Do you handle [insert type of law or type problem]? This lets the attorney know that you have not done your homework about him or her. Another nono is to expect a precise fee quote for your case because each case is different. bring any and all documentation related to your case. Therefore, the attorney can give you an honest assessment of your situation and a more accurate fee assessment. What is a retainer?

The word “retainer” is defined in Black’s Law Dictionary (7th Edition) as “a fee paid to a lawyer to secure legal representation.” The two most common types of retainers are described as follows: The first type is the type that most clients are familiar with; it is akin to an advance. Here’s how it works. The client pays the attorney an upfront fee, which is placed in the attorney’s trust account. As the attorney works, he or she deducts from the retainer, by “paying” to his or herself earnings. Once the retainer is drawn down to a certain point the attorney requests that the client replenish the retainer. In this arrangement the attorney asks for a significant upfront fee in order to hold in trust because he or she is bearing the credit risk of the client. That is, the retainer serves as a credit reADAMS serve. The second type of retainer is an amount that is paid on a monthly basis, regardless of whether or not any legal work is performed. This type of retainer functions more like an insurance policy, except that you have actually paid for something tangible, a small block of time every month. Attorneys have numerous clients and cannot work on multiple problems at once. With this type of retainer the attorney has already worked into his schedule a time to service your needs. This type of retainer is most commonly used by high net worth individuals, businesses and entertainers that have ongoing legal needs that arise randomly. However this type of retainer is becoming more widespread in the marketplace for all types of clientele.
