Bay Haven School for Basics Plus wants its students to move a little while they study. That’s why, on Feb. 21, the school participated in a Math & Movement night. The Math & Movement program uses hopscotch and other games to make learning less sedentary. Student Charles Mills, a second-grader at Bay Haven, was accompanied to the event by his mother, Malikah Mills. “I want activities and ideas to do to keep him active and learning,” Malikah Mills said.
