Turn back time Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, so don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night, and enjoy that extra hour of sleep. Daylight saving time will begin again March 12.

Phillippi students deliver help for Haiti After Phillippi Shores Elementary first-grader Madeline Perrotta saw the damage in Haiti from Hurricane Matthew on the news, she wanted to help. She asked her teachers, Kerri Kreger, Casey Esper and Mary Rose Kelley, if students could raise money for the victims, and after reaching their goal of $726 in only five school days, students raised a total of $1,100. The money was donated to Agape Flights, an aid organization that delivers supplies to Caribbean nations.
