Calling all pets! Go through the camera roll of any pet owner, and you’re sure to find them — dozens, if not hundreds, of photos of their four-legged family members. Well, during a time when we could all use a little critter comfort, it’s time to share them! Visit YourObserver.com/ contests/pet-pics to share your favorite pet pics and for the chance to see them printed in a future Observer. Or browse through the gallery there to see others’ lovable furry friends. What could be more purr-fect?

Donor boosts Fab Lab

The Suncoast Science Center/Faulhaber Fab Lab recently received a $34,000 donation toward the purchase of new 3D printers. The money — provided by a STEM-supporting donor who wished to remain anonymous — helped the lab acquire six printers that will create objects with precise detail. “This equipment will be the gift that keeps on giving, providing opportunities for people of all ages to build creativity and technical skills while bringing their ideas to life,” Suncoast Science Center Executive Director Ping Faulhaber said. The printers are in place and ready to use at the lab.
