Suspects deliver clue on thefts to police

In his 12 years as property manager of Tangerine Bay Club, Jorge Allen had never seen so much disappearing mail.

Ballet flats, bedding, lemonade, yarn — all were among the more than $1,500 worth of missing goods reported at the south-end condominium complex, according to police reports.

Police say the items disappeared during a string of thefts that have occurred for at least three months, as a daily paper route provided a pair of thieves easy access to thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen goods on the island.

But thanks to detective work, a stakeout and a misstep from suspects — a discarded schedule at the scene of a vehicle burglary that laid out their upcoming whereabouts — police say that route has hit a dead end.

Officers have charged 33-yearold Aaron Perkins and 27-yearold newspaper delivery driver Rikiya Parks with petit theft in connection with a stolen pair of size 9 Chico’s sandals. But Longboat Key Police Sgt. Bob Bourque suspects the couple is behind dozens of similar crimes.

In recent months, complaints of missing packages have mounted at the 90-unit Tangerine Bay Club.

“Once in a while, someone will say they can’t find they package, and even when this started it was just two or three people within a month,” Allen said. “But when more and more people came forward, I told them to call the police.”

Last month, Officer Wendy McGinnis canvassed the area around the condo to investigate reports of homeless encampments that could be responsible but found no evidence to support them.

Then, on May 8, police investigated a vehicle burglary in which a Tervis tumbler cup and gym bag were stolen. The investigation yielded the first major clue: the suspects’ newspaper delivery schedule that they inadvertently

left behind.

On May 11, McGinnis staked out Bay Harbour, where the burglary occurred, and observed an SUV driver slinging papers who appeared near a package she was watching. When the driver moved on to a new neighborhood, she noticed the package was missing.

McGinnis and Officer Jeff Morningstar stopped the vehicle, which was occupied by Perkins and Parks, who were both on probation, and found the package.

The former suspect also admitted to stealing a $100 leather gym bag and $10 Tervis tumbler out of a car earlier this month — though he threw out the cup because it was cracked.

Bay Harbour, Bayport Beach and Tennis Club, the Sanctuary at Longboat Key Club and the Tangerine Bay Club were among those targeted by the thieves, Bourque said. Police have linked at least 10 victims to the pair, who were found to have five packages bearing Longboat addresses in their motel unit on the 2400 block of North Tamiami Trail.

Those packages hadn’t even been reported missing, because many unknowing victims just called Amazon, the U.S. Postal Service or UPS, thinking their items had been lost in the mail.

Allen, the Tangerine Bay Club property manager, praised Bourque and the department for their work on the case.

“He keeps Longboat Key safe,” Allen said. “He was determined, he wanted it done, and he wanted to find a culprit.”

But Bourque said many southend residents might not know they have been victimized.

“There’s going to be other charges pending,” Bourque said.

The crime spree could prompt Tangerine Bay Club residents to install surveillance cameras around the mail drop center, Allen said. Although a majority of owners said they would support such an investment in a recent survey, the incident “should move things along a lot quicker,” Allen said.

MISSING A PACKAGE? Longboat Key police have discovered at least 10 victims, but they believe that additional packages could have been stolen. If you believe that your package was stolen, call police at 316-1977.

To avoid having packages stolen, police recommend retrieving them immediately and also monitoring online shipment tracking.

Mayor Duncan on the mend Mayor Jack Duncan has been hospitalized twice in the last two weeks battling pneumonia but is now healing at home.

Duncan was at a meeting with Town Manager Dave Bullock May 6 and was driving home when he began feeling ill. That night, he had a 102.4-degree fever and checked into Sarasota Memorial Hospital at 4 a.m.

“It was just something that happened very, very quickly,” Duncan said. “It’s a very severe form of pneumonia that moves rapidly.”

Duncan spent three-and-ahalf days in the hospital, then experienced a reoccurrence that resulted in another three-and-ahalf days there.

His full recovery will take four to six weeks.

Although he wasn’t in his seat banging the gavel Monday’s Longboat Key Town Commission workshop, Duncan was watching from home.

“I’ll be back to my normal self,” Duncan said. “I’m planning on being at the next meeting and getting back on the saddle.”

Carroll, who has served threeand-a-half years at the chapel, initially announced his plans to retire due to health concerns at the end of 2015 in October, but he agreed to continue as pastor as a limited basis through the end of the season.

Commission crawls toward new turtle rules After four hours of discussion over three meetings, the Longboat Key Town Commission reached consensus on stronger sea turtle protections.

Nesting sea turtles bound for Longboat Key beaches will have more real estate and protection next nesting season. But it was a long crawl for advocates pushing stricter regulations.

After four hours of discussion over three workshops in the last two months — during which commissioners prodded Code Enforcement Officer Chris Elbon for more information and data each time — the Town Commission asked staff to present new turtle regulations for first reading next month. The revised ordinance, which will likely take effect in July, more than doubles the length of the current threepage section of the town’s code dealing with the threatened reptiles.

Mayor Jack Duncan was out sick with pneumonia, and Commissioner Phill Younger was overseas during the meeting.

“It seems like everyone’s concerns have been addressed,” said Mote Senior Biologist Kristen Mazzarella after the workshop.

“Anything for more turtle protection we’re happy with.”

Artificial light from the shore can disorient baby turtles, which mistake those artificial sources with illumination from the moon, and wander away from the Gulf of

Mexico. Data compiled by Mote shows that Longboat leads the Sarasota-Manatee barrier islands in disorientations.

If the commission adopts the new regulations, Elbon, who was previously confined to searching for illegal light on “a dark, moonless night,” will be able to warn property owners of potential violations any evening.

The revised regulations also prohibit beachgoers from leaving chairs, coolers and other items on the beach at night that can block baby turtles from the gulf.

The amended rules address 13 types of lighting, up from the nine varieties the current ordinance enforces. The new rules make interior lighting visible from the beach illegal, which had been a point of concern for commissioners as they sought to balance the needs of property owners with the threatened species.

The move coincides with the town’s truck-haul renourishment project, which will eventually widen the beach with 200,000 cubic yards of sand by mid-September. After contractors finish the New Pass and Longboat Pass dredging in November, the beach will gain an additional 650,000 cubic yards of sand.

Mote has already recorded six sea turtle nests on Longboat beaches since April 24.

Elbon plans to begin walking the beach every night of the week for two weeks a month next nesting season, giving warnings to first-time violators and beginning the citation process only after they have had a “reasonable amount of time” to correct lighting issues.

Circle leaders expand bathroom wish list As the city works on addressing a long-standing need for public restrooms on St. Armands Circle, businesses want to add even more facilities to the shopping district.

It might seem like a boorish topic, but for businesses in the shopping district of St. Armands Circle, there’s been a major unanswered need for years: Where do customers go when they have to use the bathroom?

By 2019, St. Armands leaders hope to have a satisfying answer to that question. The long-standing lack of public restrooms should be addressed with the completion of a parking garage project on the Circle, which received final approval at Monday’s City Commission meeting.

As the city begins to plot the final details of that parking garage, there’s a late-breaking push to reconsider the plans for a public restroom in the building.

Although the large, city-owned structure initially seemed like a logical place to put the facilities, St. Armands Business Improvement District Co-Chairman Marty Rappaport outlined some reasons to explore alternative restroom sites.

“That’s one restroom, all the way on the north end of the district,” Rappaport said of the current plans. “Having one restroom on the far side, with the age group of the clients coming in here — that’s quite a walk.”

ing another plan with city staff.

Instead of placing a bathroom in the parking garage, the city could place four prefabricated freestanding restrooms along the four medians that lead into the Circle.

Already, St. Armands stakeholders have found a potential model to emulate. The “Portland Loo” is a toilet kiosk produced in the Northwest, designed specifically for placement on sidewalks for public use. The facilities come at a price — it ended up costing the city of San Diego $560,000 to install the public restrooms — but city staff is optimistic it might be able to build a similar product locally at a smaller cost.

There remain some logistical questions about whether the necessary infrastructure is in place to connect the restrooms to the city’s plumbing infrastructure.

Rappaport said he wasn’t certain if the necessary hookups existed at three out of the four medians, though he indicated that connection might not be essential for the restrooms to work.

David Bosworth, the city’s purchasing manager, disagreed with that assessment.

“All you’d have is a glorified porta-potty, then,” Bosworth said. “An $80,000 porta-potty.”

Still, Bosworth believes the city can move forward with its plans for the garage while also evaluating the multi-bathroom plan.

CITY COMMITS TO ST. ARMANDS GARAGE, PAID PARKING

As the city puts out a request for proposals for the garage, it can ask prospective builders to include plans with or without a bathroom, dependent on the information staff obtains regarding the bathrooms.

In the meantime, it may be a while before the city knows whether the new restroom plan is realistic for St. Armands Circle.

“It’s not something we can’t do,” Bosworth said. “It’s going to be a time-consuming process, though.”

In a split decision Monday, the Sarasota City Commission approved a $17.5 million bond to pay for a parking garage and other improvements near St. Armands Circle.

The 20-year bond comes with significant commitments. The city is agreeing to implement a paid parking system on St. Armands, both on-street and in the 521-space garage.

The city is also committing to use revenue from the parking meters — which aren’t scheduled to be installed until 2019, after construction is complete — to pay for the garage on North Adams Drive. As a result, the city doesn’t have the option to simply pull the plug on paid parking if it turns out to be unpopular.

Representatives for the merchants, landowners and residents groups all spoke in favor of the project, stating that parking is a long-standing need on the Circle — and that the implementation of paid parking is a question of when, not if.

Additional funding for the project will come from a $260,000 annual special assessment on property owners on the Circle. The project will also include burying power lines, installing hard curb end caps along medians and adding signage.

Although the stakeholder groups stood behind the project, three individuals spoke out against the proposal, warning the city that paid parking could have a detrimental effect on the shopping district. Commissioners Shelli Freeland Eddie and Susan Chapman voted against the issuance of the bond, citing concerns that the city was committing to a payment plan with no hard evidence the funding was sustainable.

Longboat Key resident Robin Cain reached down and scratched the underbelly of the tall, stately grey gelding. The horse broke his gentlemanly pose for a moment, his lower lip drooping when she hit the right spot.

Patriota is now healthy and

well mannered while living at the Sixteen Hands equine rescue in eastern Manatee County, but his former owner was going to have him euthanized because he had Wobbler’s Syndrome, which made his back legs dysfunctional and caused him to fall down frequently.

The Ibero-American horse was the beginning of Cain’s life calling, to rescue horses.

Cain currently is battling to save more horses at her Sixteen Hands rescue, named for how horses’ height is measured and because the organization started

with eight people.

Patriota was her first rescue horse in 2003, when she started volunteering with an animal sanctuary in Myakka City.

“By 2007, I was collecting horses,” she said with a laugh. She began the Sixteen Hands Horse Sanctuary that year.

Within the first two months, she already had 15 horses, and her herd quickly grew to 30, she said.

“There were horses all over the place, and we couldn’t take them,” she said.

Her sanctuary opened just in time for the recession, during which people were giving up or abandoning their horses because they could not afford to keep them.

Now, on 24 acres on the eastern border of Manatee County, these horses can find a home.

“We get to give them a lifetime of being a horse,” she said. “We try to make it as natural as we can.”

Cain takes in horses that have been given a death sentence, whether they had been scheduled to be euthanized or have been the victims of neglect. Cain gives those horses a lifetime sanctuary.

To cope with the growing number, Cain does have the help of some “forever fosters,” who take in a horse. However if they are unable to continue fostering, the horse goes back to Sixteen Hands.

She has a core of eight volunteers who help her, and she drives to the sanctuary every day from her home on Longboat Key. Krystal Showalter is one such volunteer-turned-foster, who in turn became a horse enthusiast.

She began volunteering at the sanctuary about five years ago.

Her youngest child had left home, and her husband told her she needed to find a hobby.

at the sanctuary, a choice that ended up changing her and her husband’s life.

The couple had spent the six years prior traveling the country in an RV. With no obligations and no permanent lifestyle, they were free to pick up and go when they wanted. But that all changed when Showalter fell in love with a mustang at the sanctuary and wanted to foster him.

Fast forward to 2016, and the couple settled down two miles away from the sanctuary and now foster five horses.

Showalter took a breath and looked across the pasture at the “brown herd,” a group of five horses, all shades of brown, that watched her, hoping for a cookie or hay. Other than the sound of a chainsaw — the barn was getting an addition — the morning was filled only with the sounds of birds and horses.

“It’s peaceful here. The horses know they’re safe and loved,” Showalter said. “We let them teach us.”

Open letter: Don’t forget horrors of Castro regime Americans, as well as Cubans, have suffered in the decades following the Cuban revolution.

lorida and national news media in the past two months have been full of stories and photos of Americans joyously traveling to Cuba. But these accounts, the opening of relations with the Castro government and attempts by President Obama to end the U.S. embargo have rekindled distressing memories for longtime Longboat Key/Sarasota resident Carol Siegler. Siegler felt compelled to share her family’s account of life in Havana during the revolution in the following open letter to President Obama.

My Dear Beleaguered and Legacy-Driven President Obama: Your pronouncement of lifting the Cuban embargo during your recent speech at the Alicia Alonso Teatro Nacional in Havana was for many of us an unnecessary and reckless act.

With the disastrous and deceitful 1959 Castro Marxist revolution, we, as U.S. citizens living in Cuba at the time, endured complete expropriation of all our business interests, bank accounts, homes, etc.

Since then, our family and many other U.S. citizens suffered and witnessed 57 years of the Castro regime and its deceitful and destructive revolution.

Shortly after the Castro coup d’etat, the revolution that supposedly would liberate the Cuban people became a blood bath. Some of the prominent Castro leadership and “barbudos” (Cubans who fought for the overthrow) began to question the Marxist trends of the revolution.

Without hesitation, they were put on trial in an open arena, found guilty and immediately put to death by firing squad. For some, the alternative was indefinite incarceration.

This was a singular moment for the Cuban people. It no longer was their revolution.

I feel it important to personalize this brutal time with the story of a family friend, Howard Anderson, a U.S. citizen living in Cuba. One of his housemaids maliciously turned him in for espionage to the Cuban authorities. Before the American ambassador could see him in jail, Anderson was tortured and killed. This tragic event was not publicized at the time.

1920, resided outside of Havana at the time of the revolution.

They had hired Castro soldiers to guard their home when it was obvious that a regime change was coming. One early evening, the guards did not appear, and at sunset, several armed soldiers invaded my parents’ home looking for money.

My father, who had accepted Castro as the reformer for the Cuban people, suddenly saw the revolution for what it really was and decided to take steps to protect the family. He withdrew money from his bank and within hours distributed the money among his trustworthy Rotarian friends.

Without a doubt, someone at the bank shared this information, prompting this invasion of my parents’ home. Among the intruders was a Czechoslovakian soldier. His accent was identifiable. No doubt, the Russian presence was already actively there.

One young Cuban soldier told my mother in a whisper that he never would have been part of this home invasion had he known the intent. The communist involvement was now glaring!

Everyone in the house was terrorized. My father was hit with a bayonet across the eyes. My mother was disrobed by force and suffered multiple injuries.

This was reported in the New York Times the next day in a small article on a back page.

The Castro revolution, as we all know, strangled any incentive of the good, hard-working Cuban people for the last several generations. And at the tragic expense of the Cuban people, the Castro brothers have enjoyed invulnerability and inordinate wealth.

Mr. President, as we watched you speak, we were able to view on our TV the theater audience.

It was stunningly obvious that the attending audience consisted of impeccably dressed Cubans, a remarkable contrast to the Cuban people in the street who

are poorly clothed and scraping by. That said it all!

Mr. President, in your eagerness to achieve normalcy with Cuba, you forget that the Helms-Burton Act was established to protect U.S. citizens who suffered expropriation of their business holdings, bank accounts, homes and, in some cases, their lives. A provision of the bill states that only Congress can repeal this act.

Mr. Castro has blamed the U.S. embargo for everything that has gone wrong with his revolution.

The Cuban people have been brainwashed to think that the U.S. has been responsible for the misery and hardships they have suffered for 57 years.

Of course, it is important to note that the Canadians, Russians, Chinese and Spaniards have been supplying Cuba’s needs over the years. As a matter of record, Spaniards have been compensated for their lost properties. How did we miss that opportunity?

On a trip to Cuba in 1999 with my brother and sister, whose lives were completely shattered by the Castro revolution, we stayed at the Melia Hotel.

The first strange prohibition we noted was that Cubans were not allowed into the hotel unless they were hotel employees.

While there, my former classmate at Ruston Academy in Cuba, Natalie Revuelta, visited us. She was a social belle who fell in love with Castro when he was a prisoner in the Isle of Pines.

Castro fathered her second child, then cast her aside.

As our guest, she was allowed into the hotel for lunch. To our astonishment, she proceeded to fill her large handbag to the brim with food to take home.

It was hard to believe that 40 years after the revolution, people could not buy enough food to feed their families, yet the hotels had every delicacy one could desire.

As luck would have it, in 1920, there was a sugar failure and a moratorium declared. All debts were canceled! My father, then a married man and the father of two, immediately went to Cuba to try to recoup whatever money he was owed. His customers were not required to pay by law, but they persuaded my father to start a manufacturing business in Cuba. They promised to be his first customers.

My father then bought a few knitting machines and opened the first textile factory in Cuba.

He was successful and loved Cuba. In time, my mother, Wilma, a willing adventurer, moved to the island to be with him and brought with her myself and my two siblings. I am the youngest.

home of one of my sister’s Cuban friends. Her friend was a member of a prominent Cuban family.

I will never forget the experience of dining on the family’s fine bone china while sitting beneath their beautiful paintings on the walls around us. I was at a point of tears observing my brother and sister holding back their emotions, not wanting to upset the others on our tour and not wanting to cause a political situation. It was a tense luncheon.

Mr. President, you may be interested to know how our family originally came to Cuba. In 1910, my father, Charles Shapiro, went to Cuba on a hunch to sell outerwear to Spanish merchants.

Cuba was a sugar-producing island. There was no manufacturing of any kind, and the only imports were from Japan.

At the time, my father filled a necessary niche in the Cuban

Over time my father sold his knitting mill, dye house and brand names, including a popular undershirt known as “Camisetas Perro.” The brand name still exists and is currently being sold in Miami.

Soon afterward, my father purchased the largest and oldest department store in Havana from an elderly Spanish merchant friend. The two had struck up a friendship over many games of dominoes during their daily siesta. The store was known as Los Precios Fijos.

In 1960, at the age of 65, my parents left Cuba under duress with the shirts on their back and nothing to show for their years of hard work on the island.

Mr. President, it is difficult for me to end this letter on a positive note, which would be my preference. It has been disconcerting to hear the popular remark that the large expropriated corporations have over the years written off their losses. That may very well be the case. However, my intent by way of this letter, is to represent the less affluent American individuals who suffered severe loss, both financial and personal. The expropriation has taken a significant toll on our lives over the years.

The perception and supposed major difficulty facing compensation for expropriated properties is that the Cuban government claims it does not have the necessary financial resources.

And to add insult to this injury, the Cuban government is demanding compensation for its losses during the years of the U.S. embargo. This is difficult for anyone to accept.

Aaron Cushman pens new book on the PR industry The author discusses how some of our most beloved traditions started as public relations ‘stunts.’

Grand Bay resident Aaron Cushman knows a thing or two about the public relations industry.

After all, his company, Aaron D. Cushman and Associates, has represented two presidents, five foreign governments, several actors, the Marriott Corp., the Chicago White Sox, Quaker Oats, the city of St. Louis and the Chrysler and Ford Motor corporations, among many others.

“When I came back from the Korean War in March 1952, we had nothing, but I had a lot of guts,” Cushman said. “We had a small office on Michigan Avenue with two chairs, one desk and one typewriter.”

The company eventually grew to become the 10th largest independent public relations firm in the U.S., and in March, Cushman published his second book, “Public Relations Impacts the World,” which is about public relations’ impact on sports, show business, politics, the military, corporations and governments.

“If an icon of industry so much as sneezes, Wall Street goes absolutely berserk,” Cushman said. “When a president checks into the hospital for an annual checkup, the whole world holds its breath. When the Haiti earthquake happened, so many countries all over the world sent stuff.

It’s an immediate reaction, and all of that spread of information begins with a public relations professional. A public relations person creates the news.”

Cushman also believes in the power of a publicity stunt.

“They’re key elements in everything we do,” he said. “The first Academy Awards was created as a one-time publicity stunt, and it’s become the most important event of the year for the motion picture industry. Same with Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was a one-time publicity stunt but has become something billions of people all over the world watch every year.”

In his book, Cushman also writes about the lack of credibility within the media in recent years.

“All news is slanted, and you have to select two different papers or stations and decide what you think is the truth,” he said. “The public really can’t take anything for granted.”

Cushman’s first book, “A Passion for Winning,” was published in 2004 and focuses on his 50-year career in the public relations industry, which included representing the Marriott Corp. when it was just three motels, growing the tourism industries of Mexico, Canada, Sweden, South Korea, the Cayman Islands and Singapore and promoting and eventually becoming an owner of his lifelong favorite team, the Chicago White Sox. MYSTERY MESSAGE 9:25 a.m. — 6900 block of GMD Vandalism: Police discovered graffiti on the northeast side of a vacant gas station building but were unable to discern what the writing said.

CUT AND RUN 1:53 p.m. — 4200 block of GMD A man reported his kayak missing from his property. He initially thought it could have been lost during storms the day before but then realized it had been tied at the cradle, and the lines were still there.

KEY FINDING 5:37 p.m. — 5400 block of GMD Found Property: A man stopped by the police station to drop off a keyring he found on a beach access. He used the barcode on one of two swipe cards on the ring to obtain the owner’s phone number and left a voicemail for him stating that he would drop the keys off at the police station.

Police called the owner, who said he would pick up his keys that night.

CALL FOR HELP 10:15 p.m. — 300 block of Longboat Club Road Disturbance: A hotel security guard reported that two men got into an argument. He did not witness the disturbance, but an

There was no forced entry to either vehicle. The man did not want the vehicles examined for prints but wanted the incidents documented.

CAREGIVERS’ QUARREL 8:13 a.m. — 500 block of Golf Links Lane Disturbance: Two caregivers got into a physical fight after one confronted the other for bumping into her. After two co-workers broke up the fight, one of the women retrieved a stun gun from her purse and threatened to tase the three, then drove to a nearby gas station and called police.

Police were unable to obtain a statement from the owners of the home where the incident occurred because the couple has Alzheimer’s disease. Police notified the agency the caregivers work for, along with the couple’s legal guardian. None of the parties needed medical attention.

A bathroom scale was broken during the fight.

Joseph Ridley Avirett Jr., 84, of Longboat Key, died April 26.

A native Floridian, he lived on Longboat Key for 44 years.

He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Iowa and was a Korean War veteran.

He will be remembered for his humor, big smile and huge heart.

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved life.

He is survived by sons Joseph Avirett III and Jeff Avirett; brother, Tim Avirett; sisters, Mary Williams and Becky Avirett; and one grandchild.

Dirk Leroy Lami, 90, of Longboat Key, died April 15.

Born Aug. 25, 1925, in St. Louis, he graduated from high school in 1943.

He served during World War II in the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center’s 75th Construction Battalion, also known as the SeaBees, in the Solomon Islands and Philippines. He was honorably discharged in 1946.

He completed his studies by taking advantage of the GI Bill to attend Washington University and earned a Bachelor of Science in retailing in 1949.

On July 19, 1952, he married Marilyn Esther Miller. Together, they had three children, Peter, Susan and Patricia, and raised their family in Rye, N.Y. They were married for 63 years.

He was a successful business executive in the apparel industry and retired in 1981. He enjoyed boating, fishing and tennis.

He is survived by his wife, children and six grandchildren.

A memorial service was held April 22.

Memorial donations can be made to All Faiths Food Bank.

ongboat Island Chapel members celebrated Mother’s Day May 8 with the church’s annual Scholarship Sunday.

The church awarded scholarships to 16 students from Longboat Key and surrounding areas.

At the service, members also donated items for Riverview High School’s Cyesis program, which helps teenage parents.

RESORT AT LONGBOAT KEY CLUB Summer camps at the Longboat Key Club are only offered to resort guests and members, but summer memberships are available.

CAMP LOGGERHEAD Camp Loggerhead will offer three weeklong sessions, each with a different theme.

At “Into the Wild,“ campers will create animal-themed clothing and arts and crafts and go on field trips to the Jungle Gardens and Big Cat Habitat or Myakka State Park.

The “Culinary” camp will take campers on field trips to Mixon Fruit Farms and Dakin Dairy Farm and also teach them to cook and bake. Campers will create their own chef hats.

At the final session, “Mermaid and Pirate,” campers will go on a treasure hunt on the beach and on field trips to Mote Marine Aquarium and Smugglers Cove.

On the last day of each session, there will be a water fun day, and lunch and healthy snacks will be provided each day.
