All Angels by the Sea Episcopal Church gave $10,000 to Unidos Now, an organization that aims to elevate the quality of life of the growing Hispanic and Latino community in the Sarasota area. The grant will be used to support the college tour portion of the Future Leader’s Academy for 40 students and parent chaperones. Through the tours, students and parents will visit at least five college campuses in the South Florida area.

Euphemia Haye and Maison Blanche spoon up recognition Longboat Key restaurants Euphemia Haye and Maison Blanche were awarded spots in Florida Trend’s 2016 Golden Spoon Hall of Fame. The business magazine inducts restaurants each year, and the honorees range from long-time favorites to upand-coming hot spots. The award recognizes individual achievement and distinctive contributions to the state’s restaurant scene.
