Celebrate our freedom Get ready for Longboat Key’s annual July Fourth Freedom Fest. In addition to the quartermile parade route, there will be food, games and the Rotary Club of Longboat Key’s third annual Hot Diggity Dog! parade and contest. Lazy Lobster to raise money for Orlando

On June 30, the Lazy Lobster locations in Longboat Key and Sarasota will join the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association’s effort in raising money for the OneOrlandoFund, which responds to the needs of the Orlando community after the Pulse shooting. The restaurant will donate $2 per adult dinner guest, and if a diner chooses to donate, the restaurant will match it up to $5 per adult. For more information, call 383-0440.
