Community-Oriented Policing Squad cultivates special relationship with the east Manatee County farming community.

Braden River Branch youth librarian Chris Culp knocked it out of the park by getting two Bradenton Marauders to read to a group of 30 children during story time June 29. Nick Neumann (above) and Conner Joe also led the kids in a rendition of “Take Me out to the Ball Game.” “(The kids) had a bit of batting and throwing practice with the guys, and we all had lots of fun,” Culp said.
