Sweet reward for shots Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, at 5770 Ranch Lake Blvd., is offering 5 ounces of frozen yogurt for free to vaccinated customers through the end of 2021. Team Leader Jessica Hernandez (above) said the promotion has become more popular over the past couple weeks. “We’re all in this together,” Menchie’s Owner Brian Pekny said. “We’re happy to do our part by providing fans an additional incentive to get the vaccine.” The offer is available through the Menchie’s app, and customers must show a valid vaccination card.

Water works well at kids’ camp Splish, splash 1-year-old Pynelopee Redmond was having a blast during water day July 23 at Kiddie Academy of Lakewood Ranch’s CampVentures. Redmond smacked her hands hard into the little tub filled with water toys. She smiled as the water splashed all around her. She then moved to a splash sprinkler and tried to catch the water shooting up from the ground.
