Top Dog Voting has begun for Southeastern Guide Dogs' “Superheroes on Parade” fundraiser. Who do you think should be top dog? The Observer Media Group, of course. Wheels of future fortune After members discussed plans to build an American Disabilities Act-approved playground in Manatee County at the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch’s June 9 meeting, guest Easton Gonzalez, 5, told the group he loved the idea, but he also wants a Ford Mustang when he turns 16. Incoming president Bill Porter (shown with Gonzalez above) was ready, presenting him with a blue model of a 1967 Ford Shelby GT 500. “Do you think it’ll go fast?” Gonzalez asked.
