Melissa O’Donnell’s students flex their muscles as they get in their 100th day of school workout.
Students rotated between centers set up in each of the school’s four kindergarten classrooms. In one classroom, they built structures from 100 Legos, while in another they built from simple materials, including plastic cups, to form a tower. In another room, students focused on physical fitness by performing 100 exercises, and in a fourth classroom, they grouped items of 10 to make 100!
Students in Merrick’s Birch and Levy Lakeside schools also celebrated the 100th day in fun, productive fashion.

Kindergarteners in Robin Schultz’s and Daniela Vernice’s class built a tower using 100 cups.
