Emmanuel Slate Lyons Joins YMP radio

‘SLATE’ Inspirational Rap Artist and Songwriter, ‘Slate’, Debuted his Demo CD entitled, O.D., “Out of Darkness” I Peter 2:9.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Emmanuel Lyons is a 14 year old Inspirational Rap Artist and Songwriter, who is new to the ATL Industry, but he comes with a wealth of experience. He is a passionate Artist with a dynamic presence of delivering his lyrics. Formerly known as “Eman”, he Debuted his Demo CD with his Single, “YES WE CAN!”, which he has performed live at various events, such as a Public School Black History Program, Youth Conferences & Services, Back To School Events, Fashion Shows, Talent Shows, Gospel Cafes, Praiz Party and other events. His desire is to empower and encourage people of all ages to know that no matter what they are dealing with or facing in life, if they have God on their side, they can make it… thus, his message is “Don’t You Ever Stop!” As he takes the stage, he engages his audience as he tells a story that they can relate to.

This young Inspirational Rap Artist has emerged with a new swagga and even more powerful message… that no matter what your past is and how you may have been tripped up by life, now God is able to wipe your slate clean, and give you a new fresh start… All things are New! (II Corinthians 5:17) Therefore, we present, ‘Slate’ Slate’s Demo CD also has his Bonus Song: Elmo, which presents a Domestic Violence Awareness radical message, which it is not for the faint of heart. Slate’s desire is to bring a heightened and more serious awareness concerning this horrific cycle, which affects the lives of so many people every day. The tragedy portrayed in this song is intended to engage his audience to begin to pray for the healing of every person suffering in this lifestyle, and for God to bring an End to this violence.
