The war between man and machine. The robot takeover. The cyborg revolution. What might have once been merely a sci-fi movie trope is now an unsettlingly real concern across the creative industry. It is more than easy to see AI's takeover of the creative landscape as an inevitability. We have become pessimistic. We no longer wonder "if" our jobs will be replaced by Ai, but "when".
Feeling discouraged, I started making this zine to make myself feel a bit better. What I ended up realising is that we are much harder to replace than we think.
So, here is my glass-half-full perspective on the AI revolution. It is by no means exhaustive, but it's a good start.
