The existing Aflac Accident, Critical Illness & Hospital Insurance plans offered through Cheney Brothers will no longer be eligible for payroll deduction beginning January 1, 2026. If you wish to continue your Aflac coverage, please call Aflac directly at 1.800.433.3036 (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM ET) before 12.31.2025 to move your coverage to direct bill.

If you are currently enrolled in the Cheney Brothers Aflac Accident plan, you can continue coverage on a direct bill basis with Aflac. If you enroll in the Aetna Accident plan, Aetna will not pay claims for any accidents that occur before January 1, 2026.
If you are currently enrolled in the Cheney Brothers Aflac Critical Illness plan, you can continue coverage on a direct bill basis with Aflac. If you have been diagnosed with a Critical Illness, have an existing claim with Aflac, or are going through treatment, we recommend that you continue your coverage with Aflac. If you enroll in the Aetna Critical Illness plan, Aetna will not pay claims for a Critical Illness that is diagnosed before January 1, 2026.
If you are currently enrolled in the Cheney Brothers Aflac Hospital plan, you can continue coverage on a direct bill basis with Aflac. If you enroll into the Aetna Hospital plan, Aetna will not pay claims for any hospitalizations that occur before January 1, 2026.
