四百多年的手工艺造物传统
Over four hundred years of Monozukuri(casting) heritage thrives in Takaoka. Founder Yoshiro started the foundry and gave KISEN as brand name. His commitment to preparing a great original mold led him to make many masterpieces. KISENDO carries on the same passion to making a beautiful works that will add joy and enrich lives of many.

磨き上げられた高い技術を持った者だけに与えられる称号、伝統工芸士。喜泉堂の品は多く の伝統工芸士の技の結集でつくられています。全ての土台となる原型。一瞬の油断も許され ない鋳造。緻密で繊細な仕上げ。素材の魅力を引き出す研磨。作品の世界観を完成させる着色、 加飾。どの工程においても一切の妥協を許さず隅々にまで美意識を巡らせ魂を込めること。 それこそが人の心にまで届く価値ある品を生み出す力であると考えています。
The Traditional Craftsman, accreditation given only to those with proven exquisite skill: KISENDO’s items are made by hands of many of those honorable artisans. Original mold that serve as foundation, casting that no one can afford to be careless, precise and delicate finish, polish that brings out the charm of the material, and coloring and decorative works that eventually put together the aesthetic cosmos: no element allows room for compromise. We believe that is the only way to reach anyone’s heart.

The dragon, a sacred mythical creature of the gods symbolizing good fortune, has fascinated people throughout history. In Keicho era, seven founders were moved and given lord land in Kanaya. Shunsai Hata is the descendent of tea kettle caster Hikobe, who is one of seven. Senshun is the new tea ware series from KISENDO working together with Shunsai Hata Ⅲ . Shunsai ʼ s unsurpassed keen sensibility which is nourished as an exclusive tea ware maker is fully expressed by master skill of KISENDO.
